I usually don't complain about the refs, especially in non-Bills games, but wow. Anyway, we might have a game. Not saying Houston will win, but KC don't look to awesome.

As (insert meh description) as the Texans are playing, they are still right there going into the second half.

Been rooting for him since he made the 90 at the start of training camp. I've been waiting for his splash play of the season, maybe it'll come in the playoffs. (On special teams. Like a recovered fumble for the winning touchdown. In the super bowl. Y'know, no biggie)

Winning this game requires the best of the players, coaches, and the fans. It goes without saying, but I'm counting on those who go to games (I'm many hundreds of miles away unfortunately) to take it to "11" this week. Buffalo 24 Baltimore 23 Large quantities of stomach acid will be produced if it's this tight late in the game.

My 0.6 cents: I just hope the game plan this week isn't overly conservative on both sides of the ball. This is a tough matchup, we need advantages. IMO our basic stuff against their basic stuff is a toss-up at best, and probably favors the Ravens. (Obviously turnovers would be great.) Put it all out there on offense, don't try to out-Ravens the Ravens. Running the ball is necessary, but I don't think we can just grind it out on almost every first and second down. No need for trick plays, but I do hope we'll be imaginative and show some things we haven't shown much this year. On defense, I hope we try to disrupt the Ravens. If we sit back we won't get many possessions. I'd trade a couple big plays for multiple Ravens punts. Finally, be awake when the Ravens are punting or lined up for a FG. No more successful fakes please. I dislike the Ravens more than any other team. Bills need to win this game.

You are totally right, but because $ rules, it'll never happen. Unfortunately I think it'll be just a few years until they go with 4 wild cards. Then nobody gets a bye.

I seem to recall what limited success we had against Baltimore earlier this year was on run blitzes. I think we were attacking more for a couple series. Milano should be good at that if we go that way next week.

I was talking to my buddy during the game on the phone (as per tradition) and I said the one play early where Milano ran somebody down was the most encouraging thing I'd seen so far. I'll rewatch later this week, but were they taking Milano off the field for obvious passing downs or something else? I saw him come off but can't remember when. He used to be a 3 down guy. Baltimore is going to be really tough to stop, we need all the help we can get.

They played well this week. Next week it gets all too real.
