Harbaugh close to deal to become Chargers Head Coach
Gregg replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Talking to the Falcons as well. Jordan Schultz on X: "Sources to @BleacherReport: Jim Harbaugh is currently scheduled to interview today with the #Falcons for a second time. Meanwhile, he’s been in LA continuing to have serious discussions about the possibility of joining the #Chargers, as Michigan also continues its push to keep… https://t.co/tADN2lgMCn" / X (twitter.com) -
A vote for the drooling vegetable is really a vote for her. Does anyone want this idiot taking over once Joey kicks the bucket.

Harbaugh looks like he is LAC bound. I wouldn't mind looking for a new HC in 2 or 3 years if Bill could bring a Lombardi to Buffalo within that time. I think with this team and Allen as his QB he would succeed in doing that. -

Unless he passes ownership down to his children. Being an NFL owner is like owning a cash cow. The Sabres I could see him selling. The Bills and Sabres are in different worlds financially. Even if the Sabres do make money (I don't know if they do) it is peanuts compared to what the Bills make. Good point. This year however it is tempting to make a change with all of the coaches who are available right now. A few of them are proven winners. Next offseason might not be as attractive as far as potential coaching hires go. -

I don't think anyone is saying McDermott isn't a good coach. He is but it is fair to question whether he can bring a championship to Buffalo after 7 years and many playoff failures. -
They aren't this year but if next year is another playoff failure or they don't make the playoffs then I think he is gone.

This is nuts even for California. You can commit murder and NOT be punished. Good to know. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/california-woman-who-got-high-and-stabbed-boyfriend-108-times-will-not-go-to-prison-judge-rules/ar-BB1hc5aT?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=8463a2ccb8314b87bb514eaa429a6b39&ei=25

While they obviously talk, and McDermott voices his opinion I would imagine Beane runs the draft. During the season McDermott has to focus on the Bills. Beane is constantly talking with his scouts/staff as they watch what is going on with college football. Bottom line is Beane is the one who can focus on college football as well as the Bills. McDermott can't do that. It would make sense the Beane runs the draft. IMHO I would think this is how it goes. -
Belichick - 6 Super Bowl wins 9 Super Bowl appearances. He is also a better DC than Sean. Harbaugh - took the 49ers to the Super Bowl. Won a National Championship at Michigan. These are two coaches who would be an upgrade over Sean.

I don't know if it was a mistake. If Allen is on the Chiefs with Reid and Mahomes is on the Bills with McDermott. Good chance Josh has the rings and Pat has the frustrating losses. Tre White was also a good pick for us. He played very well before the injuries hit. -

There is a proven coach who is currently available. -
When the Pats had there 20-year dynasty. How many times did they win the division. 15, 16, 17. Without looking it up I bet nobody would know. While it's nice to win the division you know Pats fans only cared about the 6 Super Bowl wins and 9 Super Bowl appearances. They probably don't even think about those AFCE titles for one second.
-
We will have an AFCE banner raising ceremony at the home opener next year. Who needs a Super Bowl win when you can proudly display your 4-time AFCE championship banner.
-
You are not wrong about the regular season success but 5-6 in the playoffs. Losing in the divisional round 3 straight years. Instant gratification? He has been here 7 years. SEVEN YEARS with one of the best QB's in the game and still can't get over the hump. Fans have a right to be frustrated at this point.
-
There is only one person who can fix this and that is Terry Pegula. Given the season ending press conferences yesterday it seems like we are stuck with McDermott for at least one more year. In a year when Belichick, Harbaugh, and even Vrabel are all available to get.

At the end, how Josh Allen's carrer will look like ?
Gregg replied to Repulsif's topic in The Stadium Wall
Similar to what Elway had to do. Having Terrell Davis running the way he did certainly helped Elway and the Broncos tremendously. -
If the Ravens win it all then we get to hear all of the media "experts" say how LJ is a much better QB than Allen. That will happen if he becomes a Super Bowl champion. Mahomes has won. Jackson has a very good chance to win it. Burrow has been in a Super Bowl. We can wear our 4-time AFCE championship tee shirts with pride.
-
God couldn't coach the Pats to a winning season with Mac Jones as his QB. Bill would have Josh Allen here. He would win with Allen leading the way. He would build a better defense that would do a better job against the likes of Mahomes, Burrow etc etc. 6 Super Bowl wins and 9 Super Bowl appearances is proof of that.

I don't think the Bills run it back with the same team this year. Some vets will get cut for either lack of performance or cap purposes. They have to get younger and need a game changer (WR) on offense. Beane really needs to hit a HR in the draft this year. The team will look different at least the defense will. -
I would be thrilled if Allen only wins one Super Bowl for the Buffalo Bills. Obviously, everyone would want them to win more but just to experience winning it once would be fantastic. It won't happen with McDermott. I wish Terry would grow a pair and make the move to Belichick, Harbaugh, or even Vrabel but he won't. I will throw this out there. Tomlin is going into his last year as Steelers coach next year. If he moves on from the Steelers and the Bills fail again in the playoffs (they will) with McDermott. Then if the opportunity is there then bring Mike here. He will build a tough team and a strong defense. Even though he only has one Super Bowl win it is still one more than McDermott.

Don't forget the Jets. He hates the Jets with a passion. The Bills could count on 4 wins right there before playing anyone else.

On the plus side they should provide serious competition for the Chiefs in the AFCW. -
Looks like Bill to Atlanta may not be a done deal. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=bf5de51fc4b20b3bJmltdHM9MTcwNTk2ODAwMCZpZ3VpZD0zOTQzMmYxOC04MGQzLTY5ZDItMjk5My0zZGRhODE1ZjY4NDEmaW5zaWQ9NTUxNA&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=3&fclid=39432f18-80d3-69d2-2993-3dda815f6841&psq=bill+belichick&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cubXNuLmNvbS9lbi11cy9zcG9ydHMvbmZsL2JpbGwtYmVsaWNoaWNrLXRvLWZhbGNvbnMtaGFzLWxvc3QtbW9tZW50dW0tcmVwb3J0L2FyLUJCMWg5NHBs&ntb=1
