The great 83 is turning the big 60. Happy birthday, Andre Reed!
Gregg replied to Bad Things's topic in The Stadium Wall
Happy Birthday Andre. Speaking of Andre I wonder if the Bills will retire his number just like they did for Jim, Bruce, and Thurman. I always thought the core of four from those Super Bowl teams was 12,34,78,83. -
If the Chiefs DB (I forget who it was) doesn't punch the ball out at the goal line then we may be having a very different conversation about Harbaugh, Lamar, and the Ravens in general.
-
So will you be watching the Super Bowl this year or no?
Gregg replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes. After this we have to wait until August just to see a Bills preseason game. -
Harbaugh has ring. Does McDermott. A Super Bowl win even if it is only one gives you the benefit of the doubt when you don't have a good playoff game. The Ravens didn't have one yesterday with a lot of self-inflicted wounds.

I know Campell is aggressive in how he coaches but he ****ed up when he went for it on 4th down instead of kicking the FG's both times. At 24-10 kick it and make it 27-10 then you have a 3-score lead again midway through the 3rd quarter. The momentum started to change right there. Once the Niners got that big play down to the 4-yard line when the ball bounced of the CB's facemask, I knew the Lions would lose at that point.

You misspelled McDermott.

Greg Cosell - “I don’t think they have a number 1 WR”

That Ravens defense is just flat out nasty. Both them and the 49ers bring the physical play up to a different level. The Chiefs offense won't be averaging 7 yards a play this week. -
Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

I wonder if they will put a webcam up 24-7-365 so fans check in to see the progress of the stadium being built over time. The Islanders did this when UBS was being built. -
Not going to happen but ESPN said it would be a good hire. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/espn-links-bills-as-perfect-fit-for-bill-belichick/ar-BB1hjfkV?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=DCTS&cvid=238d618cbb564e38b5dc965e950429f9&ei=24

Brady is the GOAT. Voted Brady/Gronk.

Hopefully Beane can find our Puka Nacua in this draft and the Rams took him in the 5th RD. Talk about getting value in the later rounds. -

It could have been injury related. Something he could play thru but still affected his game. The scheme changed some from Dorsey to Brady played a role as well in how they used him. We will see how he does next year. The Bills need to draft a WR preferably in the 1st Rd this draft. IMHO. Even if he isn't a #1 anymore, he can still be a very good #2. -

Diggs is 30 now and will be 31 next season. That's not old but if his subpar 2nd half of the season wasn't injury related then his decline will probably continue as he gets older.- 169 replies

If that happens then that will extend the number of years the Bills never get past KC in a big spot.
-
McDermott would **** his pants if Bill was his DC. No way Sean would hire him since he is way better at being a HC/DC. Not to mention he wouldn't be able to control him.
-
The Bills definitely need to hit a HR in the draft in getting Allen another weapon in the WR corps. As for the Chiefs game the Bills were trying to protect their injury riddled defense by playing ball control and keep Mahomes off the field as much as possible. Similar to what the Giants did in the Super Bowl vs the Bills and it almost worked.
-
I would add the INT at the goal line that preserved their Super Bowl win over the Seahawks. They should have given the ball to Lynch instead of throwing the ball, but Bill's defense made the play to win the game as another great moment in Bill's history.
-
As a previous poster mentioned if things don't work out for Daboll I could definitely see Bill going back to the Giants. He has history there as a DC. He liked coaching in NJ with the Giants.
-
What I want and what will happen are two different things. I would love for Bill to coach the Bills but that's not happening right now. If the Bills have another playoff disappointment next year and Bill is still available, then maybe for the 2025 season.
-
The Bills aren't firing McDermott so he's definitely not coming here.
-
He is a terrible GM and shouldn't have control in that regard. That's the main reason the Pats are where they are. Also going from Brady to Jones is a huge drop-off at the most important position. No coach could overcome that. He is still an excellent coach. I have no doubt he would win a Super Bowl with the Bills having Allen as his QB.
