56 million watched Chiefs @ Bills - Most watched divisional game ever

Next year KC comes to Buffalo again. I would say it's a lock for SNF. -
Divisional Playoffs - Chiefs at Bills - Post game thread
Gregg replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Michael McCarthy on X: "WHOAH: Chiefs vs. Bills thriller was most-watched NFL Divisional Playoff game EVER, generating over 50M viewers for CBS Sports. Viewership peaked at more than 56M viewers. https://t.co/52ZG3H0tkC" / X (twitter.com) -
Good points but there are a lot of good coaches available now. The playoff failures have gotten old. Who knows what coaches will be available next year. Sean is a good coach in that he changed the culture here. A lot of regular season winning with division titles. But it is reasonable for Bills fans to want the organization to move on from him given the playoff failures. He has been here 7 years, and he still can't get them over the hump. I expect he will remain HC as I doubt Terry fires him but another playoff failure next year and I could see changes.

What realistic coaching changes do you expect?

No compelling coaches to get. Belichick and his 9 Super Bowl appearances and 6 Super Bowl wins would be a massive upgrade over McDermott. Also, you have Harbaugh who took the 49ers to the Super Bowl and won a National Championship at Michigan. Then there is Vrabel who has done a good job with the Titans. Then you can go the OC route with a Ben Johnson or Bobby Slowik. There are a lot of compelling choices if Terry decided to move on from McDermott. -
Bill knows how to win when he has an elite level franchise QB. We also wouldn't be getting outcoached by the likes of Reid but it's not happening. McDermott will be back in 2024.

I would as well but I don't see Terry firing McDermott (yet). If next season is another disappointment, then I could see changes being made. -

Your 2024 season. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=7f96c9aae078d015JmltdHM9MTcwNTk2ODAwMCZpZ3VpZD0zOTQzMmYxOC04MGQzLTY5ZDItMjk5My0zZGRhODE1ZjY4NDEmaW5zaWQ9NTE5OQ&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=3&fclid=39432f18-80d3-69d2-2993-3dda815f6841&psq=2024+bills+opponents&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYnVmZmFsb2JpbGxzLmNvbS9zY2hlZHVsZS9mdXR1cmUtb3Bwb25lbnRz&ntb=1

Right now, it feels like Mahomes is Jordon to Allen's Ewing. Those Knicks teams could never get past the Bulls. Seeing the same thing here with the Chiefs and Bills.

I think White's days as a Bill are over. Coming back from two ACL's has to be tough. Who knows if he can come back and be close to the player he used to be.
-
It's going to be interesting to see what Beane does this offseason. A lot of pressure on him with the draft. With their cap situation I don't expect the Bills to be major players in FA, so he is going to have to hit a HR in the draft to improve this team.

What Should the Bills Roster Building Emphasis be for 2024?
Gregg replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Vrabel would be a nice choice here. He would build a tough team similar to what the Ravens and 49ers are. In Buffalo especially late in the year you need that type of team. -
I don't think they would have beaten the Ravens if they got by KC. Baltimore has been the best team in the AFC and maybe the league. I think they will beat the Chiefs this Sunday. No matter what I am rooting for the NFC in the Super Bowl. I don't want Mahomes getting a 3rd ring and I don't want LJ getting one either. Then all of the media "experts" will be saying Jackson is a much better QB than Allen if the Ravens do win it all.

Agree but it won't happen. With Belichick, Harbaugh, Vrabel out there to name a few then this is a good time to make the change. -
I think he ends up with the Chargers. I think he will be extremely motivated to win a Super Bowl. How many coaches can say they won a Super Bowl and a National Championship. He would be in rare company if he did that.

Why would you have no problem with it. I do. We will be wasting another year of Allen's prime. As fans our opinions are meaningless, but Terry better realize it will be much harder to sell tickets in the new stadium at those increased prices and PSL fees if the team is declining. The new stadium will buy him a year or two since everyone will be curious to check the new place out. But after that hello empty seats.

Build around Allen. I actually think the defense when healthy is good enough. Diggs at this point is probably a #2 WR. The Bills need to find their "Garrett Wilson" type of WR in this upcoming draft. They need a game changer for Allen. Diggs has been that guy but the 2nd half of this season he wasn't. Who knows if he will rebound in 2024. -
They should go WR, but you know the pick will be DL or S. Beane and McDermott love their defense.

The correct answer in this thread is... GO NINERS OR LIONS.

I hope so. I would love for the AFCCG to be in Buffalo if the Bills can beat the Chiefs.
