What realistic coaching changes do you expect?
Gregg replied to BigBadBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
What I think will happen for next year is. HC - McDermott DC - McDermott or Babich is promoted but McDermott still calls the shots. OC - Brady ST - no idea but I expect a new ST coach. -

Tua vs. Dak , who gets the bigger new contract this offseason?

I can only imagine what Allen's next deal will be. Terry is crying already -
First place in their division. Second place in the eastern conference. I am not a basketball fan at all but unless some inappropriate behavior behind the scenes happened then this makes no sense. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=4688de4ed03ceb3bJmltdHM9MTcwNjE0MDgwMCZpZ3VpZD0zOTQzMmYxOC04MGQzLTY5ZDItMjk5My0zZGRhODE1ZjY4NDEmaW5zaWQ9NTU4NQ&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=3&fclid=39432f18-80d3-69d2-2993-3dda815f6841&psq=milwaukee+bucks&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuanNvbmxpbmUuY29tL3N0b3J5L3Nwb3J0cy9uYmEvYnVja3MvMjAyNC8wMS8yNS9taWx3YXVrZWUtYnVja3MtcGxheWVycy1yZWFjdC10by1maXJpbmctb2YtZmlyc3QteWVhci1oZWFkLWNvYWNoLWFkcmlhbi1ncmlmZmluLWJ5LWdtLWpvbi1ob3JzdC83MjM0Mjg2NTAwNy8&ntb=1

This woman might be dumber than AOC and that is saying something. Pathetic. -

Assuming Bass makes the extra point, which is not a sure thing it would have been 31-27. KC would have needed a TD unlike the FG in the 13 seconds game. It would have been a very nervous 1:30 left on the clock for Bills fans. Boomer this morning on his WFAN show said Ben Johnson is a lock to become the next HC of the Commanders. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/boomer-esiason-says-commanders-next-head-coach-is-a-lock/ar-BB1hd8uI?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=e17b38758de84163be72ab55482013c6&ei=19

Watch Brock Purdy win a Super Bowl and the "experts" will be saying Purdy is a better QB than Allen.
-
Fair point. Nobody would argue that McDermott is a good coach. Playoff appearances in 6 of the last 7 years. 4 straight AFCE titles. So, I could also understand the Bills hesitation, but 7 years and the playoff failures are becoming a regular thing now. It is a tough call but if it were me, I would make it. I would want Bill here. With an elite level QB he has won big time. His defenses would do a much better job against the likes of Mahomes and Burrow. Another name nobody has mentioned is Pete Carroll. He is an "advisor" for the Seahawks, but he was forced into that role. I think he still wants to coach. Won two national championships at USC and a Super Bowl with Seattle. He is a west coast guy so I don't know if he would want to come east.
-
McDermott would never go for it. Could you imagine Sean's mood if Bill was his DC. Bill is a much better HC and DC than Sean. I could easily see the players tuning McDermott out and listening to Bill. Why wouldn't they. Look at the success that both have had as HC and DC. Sean would not be happy. It would be like a Mike Ditka/Buddy Ryan situation when the Bears defensive players carried Buddy off the field after winning the Super Bowl in 85.

The Eagles moved on from Reid even with those 4 NFCCG appearances. Like many have said here McDermott is a good coach but it appears this is as far as he can take them. Are we going to wait 20 years for him to figure it out. Allen will be wearing a gold jacket in Canton, Ohio by then.

If he wins a Super Bowl to go along with his National Championship that would put him in rare company within the coaching ranks.

Predict Next Year’s Starting Defensive Lineup

This is hard to do without seeing who will or won't be back. Plus, there is the draft as well. -
Ryan O'Halloran - Bills should go Defense Heavy in draft
Gregg replied to BCAS Baritone's topic in The Stadium Wall
WR in RD 1 please. They do need to address the defense as well. But they need another weapon for Allen to throw to. If Diggs really is starting to decline, then the WR pick becomes more important. -
I still say Biden won't be the Democrat nominee. I don't know who it will be, but I doubt its Biden. His health will force him to step down.
-
The Pats or Jets own the cellar. Depending on who they hire it should make winning the AFCE easier.
-
I am talking about when you said someone told McDermott to lose the game and he told Brady who told Allen. I don't know why the Bills didn't try to milk the clock. They should have. Even if the FG was good. I have no doubt Mahomes drives them down the field for the game winning score. But the Bills did not intentionally lose the game.

You don't really believe this do you. This is the NFL not the WWE.

Harbaugh close to deal to become Chargers Head Coach
Gregg replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Talking to the Falcons as well. Jordan Schultz on X: "Sources to @BleacherReport: Jim Harbaugh is currently scheduled to interview today with the #Falcons for a second time. Meanwhile, he’s been in LA continuing to have serious discussions about the possibility of joining the #Chargers, as Michigan also continues its push to keep… https://t.co/tADN2lgMCn" / X (twitter.com) -
A vote for the drooling vegetable is really a vote for her. Does anyone want this idiot taking over once Joey kicks the bucket.

Harbaugh looks like he is LAC bound. I wouldn't mind looking for a new HC in 2 or 3 years if Bill could bring a Lombardi to Buffalo within that time. I think with this team and Allen as his QB he would succeed in doing that. -

Unless he passes ownership down to his children. Being an NFL owner is like owning a cash cow. The Sabres I could see him selling. The Bills and Sabres are in different worlds financially. Even if the Sabres do make money (I don't know if they do) it is peanuts compared to what the Bills make. Good point. This year however it is tempting to make a change with all of the coaches who are available right now. A few of them are proven winners. Next offseason might not be as attractive as far as potential coaching hires go.
