We have done this before so some Buffalo Bills fans thinking it is great to try to stack the odds in Buffalo Bills favor for a Super Bowl championship that is shortsighted as the Buffalo Sabres tanking with some Buffalo Sabres fans buying in what the Sabres organization was going to cheat the game to win a Stanley Cup championship ridiculous. The New York Mets signing Justin Verlander won’t matter because they let Jacob deGrom walk to the Texas Rangers so one step back one step back to where the New Mets were already that isn’t improving. The New York Mets are what they are a second city team. I am a New York Yankees fan who are a better franchise they always have been. Thankfully I grew up with Thurman Munson, Reggie Jackson, Mickey Rivers and Jim “Catfish” Hunter Yankees era as a Yankees fan it has been great. The Yankees kept Aaron Judge today the Yankees don’t loose there franchise players like the Mets franchise. Disagree Aaron Judge is a superstar baseball player you don’t let him walk. Would you let Mickey Mantle walk to the New York Giants or Brooklyn Dodgers? Of course not that is a New York Mets thing to do. For the New York Yankees to compete for championships you need superstars and Aaron Judge is a superstar baseball player in my opinion. Go Yankees! The Buffalo Bills need to win a Super Bowl that hasn’t changed but the Von Miller injury puts that a little more in doubt now? But hopefully a lesson to some Bills fans that apologize for Sean McDermott all the time. We don’t get those .13 seconds back as Bills fans. Next season may not be as good as last season chances wise for the Super Bowl. Reality the Bills aren’t as good this season as last season. We have no sure handed go to wide receiver when Cole Beasley signed else where then retired. Josh Allen has a bad elbow which is limiting the Bills offense to protect Josh Allen’s injured elbow. All of this is why you don’t make excuses for failed coaches. Sean McDermott and his coaching staff cost this team a Super Bowl last season over those .13 seconds. I don’t care what our record is now the Buffalo Bills aren’t as good as last season you can see it. No Von Miller and a injured Josh Allen isn’t good. I have already moved on from Sean McDermott era last season. I see failure when I see Sean McDermott coaching in close games. Sean McDermott isn’t a difference maker as a head coach without Josh Allen he would be back to being a assistant coach again with a notebook. My New York Yankees are the same way without Aaron Judge Aaron Boone is a bench coach or scout. Because Aaron Boone isn’t special as a manager either two mediocre leaders alike with tons of excuses for failure. Sean McDermott and Aaron Boone both bums carried by one elite superstar $53 million dollars a year Josh Allen and $40 million dollars a year Aaron Judge neither with a championship yet because of poor leaders run the two teams. Fire both Sean McDermott and Aaron Boone for being mediocre with tons of excuses why they failed except themselves of course there both bums in my opinion. Go Bills! Go Yankees! Let’s Go Buffalo

Look I am 54 years old have live in Buffalo my whole life and I miss the Buffalo Braves to but to blame it on John Y Brown or Paul Snyder isn’t the real reason the Buffalo Braves moved. Nor was it Canisius College basketball Father Demske fault. It was our Western New York business community and local political leaders they didn’t care like a lot of things that is why we are the way we are. They couldn’t sell 5,000 season tickets so the Buffalo Braves couldn’t break the new long term lease they signed a year or two before making them stay here we made it easy to leave. Again Buffalo Braves tickets were dirt cheap like $6 and $9 dollars a ticket. Like with a lot of things in Western New York like the new Buffalo Bills stadium as an good example today we don’t make good economic decisions. Again $10 times 5,000 seats and no one did a thing to save the Buffalo Braves $50,000 a year and the Buffalo Braves are in Buffalo in 1978-79 we get to the Magic, Bird and Jordan years when the NBA took off surpassing NHL hockey. Just like in 1970 when the Buffalo Bisons IL baseball moved after 93 years who does that? That was one of the biggest disgraces in Buffalo sports history that should never have happened. Ron Jaworski Stadium takes a new Buffalo professional softball team in 1976 but 6 years before wanted no part of the International League Buffalo Bisons that were here for 93 years ridiculous so Buffalo. The land of economic idiots. How stupid are some of the people in our community? Well the Buffalo Courier Express union turned down the deal the Buffalo Courier Express had with Rupert Murdoch to save the newspaper again who does that. Then you are all out of a job. Those writers ran off to other cities newspapers and screwed this community of jobs again selfish behavior run away take the easy way out by running away. Too much of that goes on still today. Not as bad as in past but it still happens far too often. Buffalo is and will always be left behind until we stop making cheap stupid easy way out decisions. The Buffalo Convention Center renovations are a disgrace of cheapness. That should have been the Buffalo Bills stadium/Convention Center down town but this community continues to be stuck on stupid. UB needs a new football stadium. If you say no they don’t BSF? Look at San Diego State a Group of Five FBS football team like UB Bulls new stadium then look at UB Stadium it is a disgrace. And we wonder why Buffalo sports fans hate that stadium the sight lines are the worse in major college football it is a disgrace. Again downtown UB Bulls football could have joined the Buffalo Bills with the convention center tie in but we are still stuck on stupid in Western New York in my opinion. Go Braves-Clippers! Linus Ullmark was willing to stay for longer length and more money than the Boston Bruins offer. That is bad business for the Buffalo Sabres to overpay a mediocre at best goalie. Linus Ullmark is in his prime now and he isn’t that good no thank you. This team failed when they didn’t sign Devon Levi to start this season as the number one goalie with Craig Anderson the backup helping Devon Levi get use to NHL life like what the Buffalo Bills do. There is no solid NHL goalie and until there is the Buffalo Sabres are going no where regardless if both Conor McDavid and Jack Eichel were on the Sabres there going no where until the goalie situation is taken care of. Look back to the good Sabres teams from the past they had good goaltending. Our goalies have been bad since Ryan Milled was traded. Also Don Granato isn’t the answer the Sabres failed when they fired Lindy Ruff. When we did that our team culture failed when it came to hard work and winning. The Sabres need a goalie and a better head coach make a trade with the New Jersey Devils draft considerations for getting Lindy Ruff back. I saw enough Don Granato got badly out coached in that New Jersey Devils game he is part of Ralph Krueger staff he is no winner a career minor league coach that didn’t become a head coach until this late stage in his coaching career tells you a lot. But unfortunately Western New York sports fans and our local sports media like the underdog and don’t see Don Granato isn’t NHL head coaching material in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo

UB Bulls will win Friday against 1 win Akron Zips to go to a bowl game. But I don’t see MAC championships in football or basketball ever with Maurice Linquist and Jim Whitesell as the UB head coaches. Anymore than I don’t see Stanley Cup playoffs ever for the Buffalo Sabres with Don Granato as head coach. Look you get what you pay for. All these three Buffalo men coach Kmart Blue Light special cheap coaching salaries wise for there respective Buffalo teams. Look there are reasons why St Bonaventure Bonnies as an example with all new players knocked off 5-0 Notre Dame yesterday. It’s coaching Bonnies head coach Mark Schmidt is one of the best coaches presently in the Buffalo area that few know about because well Buffalo fan is too fixated on the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres with not much else maybe where you can get good wings and pizza. Maybe a New York Yankees game once in a while because they win a lot that is Buffalo. Any other city fans would know about Mark Schmidt. Yes that is a knock on Buffalo sports as a city many of our Buffalo fans are very limited. It is also a reason why UB Bulls have no money to retain good coaches. If Buffalo was willing to fill Key Bank Center for UB Bulls basketball games Nate Oats would still be at UB. Yes part of this crap is on Buffalo. They run to the Buffalo Sabres still regardless of how bad the on ice product is with a very soft team and how much the Sabres ownership could careless. But sell 18,000 plus UB Bulls basketball tickets or 25,000 UB Bulls football tickets forget it. That really is the reason why we are stuck with new coaches every few years in my opinion. UB Horns Up! As a long time Buffalo sports fan I am not surprised. You are going to get a few that fall in love with QB Frank Reich instead of starting QB Jim Kelly. Trust BSF I ignore the back up is better Buffalo sports fan that is rarely the case. There are exceptions like Dominik Hasek for an aging Grant Fuhr but like I said it is rare. The backup QB’s on the Bills presently are terrible and the thought they ever have to start is scary then the Bills fan blaming Josh Allen for everything in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

The NFL stands for “Not For Long” for a reason. As a Buffalo sports fan the biggest waste of talent in Buffalo sports was Dominik Hasek the clown show we call the Buffalo Sabres 100% wasted Hasek’s talent to not win a Stanley Cup was ridiculous. Van Miller, Ted Darling and Rick Jeanneret your not replacing there talent level because announcers are trained different in school today. And the Buffalo Bills are going to grow natural grass in the new Bills stadium with no roof in Buffalo in a snow belt Orchard Park? What a joke the NFL should require New York State to put a dome on the new Bills stadium if Buffalo wants to stay in the NFL. MLB required Phoenix to have a dome same for Las Vegas if they get the Oakland Athletics. Buffalo shouldn’t be allowed outdoor stadium anymore. This is the second game moved and two others should have been moved the weather was so bad the Indianapolis Colts game and the New England Patriots game. How is tailgating this weekend Bills Mafia I don’t want a dome what a joke the NFL made the decision Detroit which could cost this team a playoff spot just like the Bills Toronto Series playing extra road game in my opinion. Don Granato was never going to be the answer. Buffalo Sabres fans like to forget that Don Granato was hand picked by Ralph Krueger why on earth would Sabres fans think a career minor league coach at Don Granato age that he was going to be the answer for the Sabres? I was against the hire from day one I didn’t think Don Granato was going to win big here. The Buffalo Sabres are soft and they play when they feel like it because there lazy with guaranteed contracts. Major changes to our bottom two lines need improvement. Jeff Skinner shouldn’t be on this team nor should Craig Anderson and Eric Comrie they both aren’t good enough in the nets. Devon Levi needs to be signed and start as soon as he gets here that is how bad our goaltending is. We can’t wait 2 or 3 years in the minors Devon Levi is going to have to sink or swim. UPL isn’t the answer either in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo

Yes Sean McDermott never was that great of a head coach. As Josh Allen goes so does this team success wise. Former Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is a very good coach we are also finding that out now as time goes on with him as the New York Giants head coach. And we have Sean McDermott that is more interested in circle time and feelings instead of being a good NFL head coach. The Buffalo Bills never replaced Cole Beasley with another go to receiver. Isaiah McKenzie has been a disaster in replacing Cole Beasley as a go to receiver. Our running backs are below average without Josh Allen running the football. Our secondary is hurt until they get healthy the Bills are in trouble for making the playoffs this season if the secondary doesn’t get healthy soon in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

No elite running backs mean nothing. If elite running backs mattered the Buffalo Bills would have two or three Super Bowls with Joe Cribbs 1980’s and Thurman Thomas 1990’s. Not to mention the Bills had one of the greatest running backs in the history of the NFL in the 1970’s OJ Simpson. Running backs don’t mean anything for Super Bowl winning in my opinion. Go Bills!
