  1. You gotta be kidding me?! That is F'd up. I don't even want to know such a spider exists. Clifford "Clipper" Franklin in The Replacements was right to be scared of spiders. EDIT: to show proper respect.
  2. Jock on fire and passing would put it out was tremendous.
  3. Great work, Jas, and I get your logic. i just don't think we have to go to that degree. Partially due to the fact that I believe we have (correct me if I'm wrong) 20 or so million dollars in dead for 2018 that we'll get in 2019. With the cap still looking like it is going to rise I believe this team is in good shape dollar wise for the next few years. This gives us a nice opportunity to keep salaries low for now as our young talent puts some years in, while still staying competitive with some of what we have.
  4. We could possibly look at Washington as a trade partner for Alex Smith. He has a number of years left on his deal and a big cap figure that Washington might want to move.
  5. Oh man, they could roast O.J. You know, because of all the Hertz commercial and Naked Gun movie jokes. Plus he just became available in the last few months. What a good time of hilarity for all that would be.
  6. Yeah, I'm just not into it, even though it seems like it is going to be a good game. great Sunday of division round. Great afternoon championship game, and given it's the Patriots and the Eagles, a team I am indifferent about...well, I guess I'm ready for the draft.
  7. Sorry, we may have mis-communicated, dulles. I am talking about rushing for 1,000 yards and receiving for 1,000 yards in the same year. Not a total of 2,000 plus yards. Thurman did that as well, I think twice he was over 2,000 total yards.
  8. It is an amazing achievement. 2,000 yards rushing has been done a few times, but only (2) 1,000/1,000s...tremendous.
  9. I believe he was also the first player ever (and maybe the only one...don't know) to rush and receive for a 1,000 yards in the same season.
  10. BD, respectfully, I didn't mention Cousins at all in my post. I was just trying to make the worst comment ever on the board...it hurst that no one thinks that it is. If you've seen any of my other posts I am with you on your point. You may make this up to me by sending me money. PM me and I'll give you the deets.
  11. Keep in mind we also have new dead money with respect to EW's retirement. W lose a good center, but I believe we only gain 3 million. ...not sure Cous would love us losing Glenn, regardless of what we think of him going forward. EDIT: sorry, but to answer your question, yes, it does include TT and Glenn's contracts as they are under contract.
  12. Will try it, but all I saw was that NFL entry video. I'll just wait let it play next time. I was also just having fun with you, Step.
  13. Jets Cap: $72,000,000 Bills cap: $29,000,000 (subject to the mish-mash of releasing TT, but then accounting for Woods dead money). Cousins contract (in my opinion): $125,000,000 or more, $75-90 million guaranteed. City people like to play for: New York. City people don't like to play for, unless they are already here or like hunting: Buffalo. Not saying he is going to end up there, but as far as the BIlls and Cousins, as my buddy Luke Skywalker always says (or at least used to say "a long time ago"), "This is not going to go the way you think."
  14. I don't have a facebook account and I believe that Step posted this because he knows that don't and just wanted to annoy me. ...not cool, bro.
  15. Please! I can top that: I'll always regret the fact that we missed the opportunity to have Rob Johnson and JP Losman on this team, at the same time.
  16. What a read. What a guy. Missed him when he couldn't play anymore. Best to you and the rest of your pursuits and Bills fans will keep the folding chair ready for you, along with a plate of wings and spot by the fire for tailgating.
  17. Well said, my friend. Except your last sentence which made me throw-up a little bit.
  18. Eps, out of curiosity, what would you do now? I'm thinking, right now, I would see what is reasonably out there in FA, and then prep for a move in the draft, with the caveat if they like a guy (for the future) who would be there late in the first or in the second and they want to wait...fine. ...but if they love a guy, go get him.
  19. I love Tre White, but (and hindsight not included) I loved Watson and would have taken him at 10. Loved him and I didn't agree with the neigh-sayers on him. I am rarely right, case in point as I used to always pick celery to win at Bisons games...but I believe I was, and shall continue, to be right about Watson.
  20. But what you are forgetting is how much it will cost the Vikings to sign Cousins...oh wait, you didn't forget that at all. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/ Vikings: $56,000,000 Jets: $79,000,000 Bills: $31,000,000 (maybe a wash when you get rid of TT/Woods cap hit from retirement). I respect a lot of you guys around here. That said, JEEPERS DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS GOING TO COST TO SIGN THIS GUY IN BUFFALO?! It is probably going to be a $125 million plus deal, with probably $90,000,000 or so guaranteed. He is a good QB. However, are you so sure he as THAT good to put this team's cap in jeopardy for years to come at this stage of the Bills' development? I like Cousins, but I liked Smith as a more reasonable option (not, however, for the Bills with what Washington ended up with on a 4 year extension). I wouldn't pay that money for Cousins, and it is unlikely that the Bills could even afford him in 2018.
  21. I am willing to trust the process. However, that said, if they absolutely love a guy. GIVE UP THE WORLD TO GET HIM. Give me a truly potential Franchise-10 year QB that would be the foundation for this team as it has been for other teams in the league in exchange for 4 or so picks, some of which pan out, some of which bust, some of which don't fit the scheme or are traded in a couple of years, or we don't re-sign after 4-5 years. As mentioned before, I'm willing to put the whole "build a team from the draft" on hold for a bit if we/they get a guy that they love. Yes, it didn't necessarily work out for Washington with RGIII, but it appears to have worked for Philly and the Rams.
  22. Yeah, Bill, my humor sometimes is hit or miss. I should do a better job telegraphing it. ...or a rim shot gif afterwards.
  23. Ya know, K-Gun, side note and in all honesty I mentioned the post briefly to my wife earlier yesterday and said, "I just don't think anyone got it, or it's just plain not funny...Oh well."
  24. "...take away from Wood's day."? It seems like Wood didn't even want to take away from Wood's day. No complaints here. I am just confused about what this means. So do they want him to just retire after June1?
