  1. Gregg, everyone is entitle to their opinion, but just to be clear what I am extrapolating from the above is that other than an uptick in completion percentage after an end to 2018 that saw improvement and the Bills revamping about 7 positions around Josh on offense you truly expect him to be a worse QB than he was last year? Not only that he hasn't grown from year one to year two, but that he actually regresses from a .833 TD/Int ration to .667?
  2. I know I am a true Bills fan because all the optimistic talk around here is making me feel..uncomfortable. I am going to just plain agree en masse with all the positive takes herein written. I've said before that if he literally makes no improvement whatsoever this team is at the very least 8-8. I truly expect him to progress as he did at the end of the season and I agree with the Bears comparisons made earlier...this kid is not, and doesn't need to, throw 30 plus tds and 4,000 yards in 2019. Be competent and hit your marks, because I think 20 tds, 12 picks, 3,300 yards passing, with under 500 rushing yards and 6 tds on the ground from him is enough to get you into the playoffs at 10-6.
  3. I hope and pray so, BA, but also there comes a time when even the family lets him know audibly it is OK. ...this isn’t fair. I know life isn’t fair for any of us...but this just truly isn’t fair. He should be here with his family, of course, but also with us as his beloved Bills turn things around this year. ?
  4. Ezra, you have fought the good fight, buddy. You have proudly circled the wagons and our love shall always be with you. You can rest now, brother. You've earned it. We will pick up the flag. God Bless you and, most importantly, God Bless your family.
  5. NHD, No lie, as much as I love Kirk Douglas I saw War Wagon for only the first time 6 months ago. Love it.
  6. RIP indeed, my friend. Huds, there were three bona fide stars left from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Now there are two. Kirk Douglas and Olivia D'Haivoland (spelling - sorry), both North of 100.
  7. Yeah, the same way once the Sabres won the lottery they really didn't have to wait until draft day to know who their pick was going to be last year.
  8. Pleas Wiz...like they would actually have a person there. There just have a camera set-up. A bills cam.
  9. 2019 Season: New England Patriots (d) 11-5 Buffalo Bills (w) 10-6 New York Jets 7-9 Miami Dolphins 4-12 (d) - Division Champion (w) - Wild Card Talking heads on Josh Rosen: "Really he was at a disadvantage due to the turnover in Miami. This is just another "pass" or "incomplete" call on his dance card until he gets that stronger supporting cast he deserves! You have to be impressed with his 22 TDs through the air against only 13 picks. Brighter days are ahead for the Dolphins soon with JR!" Talking Heads on Josh Allen: "The jury is still out on this young man. Sure he combined for 30 TDs this year, but that 53.5% completion percentage should worry many Bills fans. Let's hope he can keep it together enough on the field, and benefit from his outstanding cast mates, when the Indianapolis Colts host Buffalo this Saturday for Wild Card Weekend." ...just you wait, I'm telling you.
  10. Yeah, I got to give a little bit of credit to One Bills Live, yesterday. Before their broadcast I thought we we sure to get Ziggy. After listening to their explanations for about 10 minutes (long before the thought of losing him came up), I thought to myself "Why in the world would he sign here?" It just seemed like the possibility of a future pay day was better in Seattle's non-rotational (I know, I know, but you know what I mean), and less crowded system.
  11. Man, there is one thing that sticks out to me: If your name doesn't rhyme with Savoy, Tore, Feldon or Bingletary you may not make this team at RB.
  12. Wouldn't mind seeing him cap it off by kissing and then raising the Lombardi Trophy after the 2021 Super Bowl. ...but the 2020 Super Bowl would be fine, as well!
  13. I wanted to be one of the guys who puts information up early in a thread (yes, I have @YoloinOhio envy!). I might have been the 2nd or 3rd guy in on the Sweeney thread and I grabbed the first link I found and put it up. ...THEN I looked at the video that was in the article in the link and I was a little bit stunned. I mean...the kid had hands in this video...nice hands. Sure, less of a body of work, but it was nicer "whoa!" video than some of the WRs drafted earlier than him. In my rush to be early on a guy I knew NOTHING ABOUT I accidentally stumbled across what makes this kid a late round gem. Please, TSW, if you haven't by now go and watch some video on this kid. It will make you like him and like and appreciate our drafting room even more.
  14. Please can we have a miracle? Please?
  15. I have before, did again right now at your behest, and will do so again in the future for Pancho in the hopes that he will come home.
  16. Isn't he a spy with people after him? I thought he was a spy with people after him. He should be a spy, with people after him.
  17. The only other way we don’t get to 7 wins is if we cut Isiah MacKenzie and the cap hit is $56 million.
  18. Man, I could take 16 of those from everybody that day, WMD. What a pleasure being there and sending the 2018 season out with hope for 2019.
  19. Rob, I mean no disrespect, but don't you think you are being a little obtuse? It's important to understand that when you are a rookie QB on a bad football team, going from one bad football team to another bad football team is all that is necessary to make you look good, especially when you had nothing to do with the bad football team being a bad football team other than being the bad football team's starter for 13 games at the most crucial position in sports. My apologies if I was a little hard on you.
  20. Blovian ties don't make the grade with the torque. What are "two sentences that don't make any sense" for 400, Alex.
  21. Kelly, the back of my head is now on the floor. I am 2/3rds of the way through my life...probably 4/5th as I need to lose some wait, but it is never too late learn something. Awesome, buddy.
  22. He we was friends with my father who never said a bad word about. I remember as kid when we are a trip going to his office, meeting him and how nice he was and he gave us tickets to go see The Wiz. I was too young to be overly impressed that it was his congressional office near the capitol, which we then also toured. ...yeah, I have a feeling the stories in this thread are just going to keep rolling in about him. isn’t that nice?
  23. Nuch, just joined the club recently. ...and I write what I feel...not what I do.?
  24. Eeesh...unfortunately I'm right there with ya!
