  1. And the Bills won't have one forever...
  2. Huh, avoid losing the MVP for Josh? IDC if he throws for 100 yards and scores zero TDs, if we win. Goal is to win and try to keep pace with KC for the 1 seed. Josh makes a bucket load of money. He'll be fine. Bills victories and postseason performance are 100x more important than his personal accolades. Just my opinion, of course.
  3. Under .500 equates to "bad" for me, but each to their own. Bills caught what is, in hindsight, a schedule break, facing the: AFC East (obviously every year) AFC South (train-wreck) NFC West (worst they've been in a while?) Hey, beat the teams you're supposed to, can't argue with that.
  4. Yep. Having a great year, obviously. But 2-3 against teams with a winning record. Bills feast on bad teams.
  5. Absolutely. Our competition has been pretty dreadful. Winning the games they should, but 2-2 against opponents over .500
  6. This is the answer. Level of competition is pretty bad IMO
  7. To be fair, Baltimore has played a FAR tougher schedule that we have. Chiefs (same), Commanders, Steelers, Broncos, Chargers, Eagles. Bills are fortunate to be playing the AFC East, NFC West and AFC South. Three really soft divisions. Being in the AFC North is brutal.
  8. Agree 100% Some of it is the schedule. Winning the games they need to against inferior opponents. But currently 2-2 against teams with a winning record. And only really Detroit left that should pose any real challenge. All going to come down to the playoffs.
  9. Detroit will be the last real test they get this season.
  10. And fans are wild, we have next to nothing to do with any of this. We don't coach, we don't select players, we are rooting for millionaires playing for billionaires. Then we worry about the "respect" the team or a player gets. Tons of fun, but damn some people get way too caught up in it.
  11. I don't think they beat us without him.
  12. Record of teams SEA has beaten 11-16 Record of teams BUF has beaten 9-23
  13. Gotta beat a quality opponent. Bills victories are over opponents that are a combined 9-23. Bills losses, 9-4. Kinda like last year's Dolphins. Seahawks will be a decent test.
  14. For MILLIONS of dollars! Hey, he's done a great job but let's not pretend like he's not being handsomely compensated for playing a game.
  15. So pretty much the same result
  16. And I love how the Dolphins have salary cap issues and somehow the Bills don't? Maybe this is because it's post-purge?
  17. "He will likely not be as much the runner, but that’s OK." Is it ok? My fear is that age will impact him more than a typical qb due to how much of his game is running. And I'm not just talking about mobility, but flat out running for difficult yards. He's going to have a transition to make in the next few years, time will tell if he can pull it off.
  18. So a counter-argument to Allen's touchdowns. How many of those 44 are rushing from a goal line or near goal line situation? Sure, a touchdown from one yard is worth as much as a touchdown from 20 yards, but how many teams would just send a bruising back to get that same goal line touchdown? Josh had way more rushing TDs this year, but his rushing overall was down compared to the last couple of years.
  19. My big question for his future is will age impact his skillset more than the average QB? Running is a massive part of his game. Once he's no longer as effective running, it will come down to how well he transitions into more of a pocket passer.
  20. Interesting analysis, thanks for sharing. My only critique is, if you are going to elude to the things that might have happened, like the three dropped passes, they you should probably include the Allen fumble that absolutely could have been a turnover. Maybe even the near interception.
  21. His performance in these last couple of months has ruined his draft capital. No one is trading for him.
  22. This is the major problem with this team. Far too much cap space devoted to players that contribute at a level far below their cap number would warrant. Now that the QB contract has really kicked in, you can't get away without cap efficiency. Bills are the opposite of cap-efficient. This is really difficult to overcome.
