Deion Jones signed to 1-year deal per Schefter

This is exactly what I thought when they announced this signing. -
Tim Graham article on Kim Pegula and Bills ownership
Snappysnackcakes replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even if it’s merely a formality, it sickens me to read this. Kim is such a great advocate for all things Buffalo and it breaks my heart to hear that she’s struggling so badly. Sad day in Buffalo Bills history, indeed. -
No. Not at all. We have to change our thinking about Duke players. They had legit coaching.

Bills Updated Draft Pick Spots

Mitchell has Type 1 diabetes and does not take good care of himself, diet-wise. He can be tough to handle in meetings and it’s a chore to make him practice hard. -
Adonai Mitchell - name cracks me up

I feel like we should ask Mel Brooks and Larry David to sort this out. -
Hard pass. Nope.

I can only hope that he’s spending eternity with satan’s thorny cokc up his a$$.

Devontez Walker is a humble kid. If he’s available, he’s our #2 pick. I follow UNC.

In hindsight, should we have traded for Diontae Johnson?
Snappysnackcakes replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude. He’s Stef Light. Screw these selfish, emotionally unstable WR’s going-forward. They learned a tough lesson BUT almost made a Super Bowl with this guy. Move on. -
One month out, who are Your Guys in the draft?

McDermott is feeling the pressure
Snappysnackcakes replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
He SHOULD be feeling pressure. Therefore he IS feeling pressure. I’ve said before that we don’t want McD to be our generation’s Marty Schottenheimer, God rest his soul. Great regular season records…nothing in the postseason. -
Justin Simmons released (now visiting N'awlins)

Pass rusher. A huge need not being talked about enough
Snappysnackcakes replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Championship squads are built on left tackles, edge rushers, and lockdown corners. And of course quarterbacks. I have zero problem with Beane zeroing in on edge rushers consistently, and nor should you. -
Every position is important and signing Trubisky at the amount we did is perfectly fine. Coach is very good at drafting and developing DB’s. We have a DB friendly system - except for the safeties. Damar is a shining example of someone being incapable of developing at S. In short, we must have 2-3 more safeties brought to camp, hoping that 1 is capable of starting and maybe two backups. This is the most concerning problem going into the rest of the offseason.

Our starting Center isn’t on the roster yet
Snappysnackcakes replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
What’s McGovern’s contract? We overpaid for Morse because we had to overpay for Morse. Morse is a good center but nothing special, especially when considering his concussion history. He’s on borrowed time. We moved on at the right time and got lucky this past season. -

There’s no pipeline to fill. The OL has 9 spots on the opening day roster. Guys we pick, when we don’t have a spot open, are just picked up on the waiver wire at cut down day. Just look at the last 4 final cuts. -

Not happening. Edward’s was re-signed to start. We are not investing early-round draft capital on a position of strength. Bates was traded for draft capital, he was the heir apparent at C and became expendable when Edwards signed, because Edwards signed. Edwards is a more-than-capable G and McGovern will do fine at C. End of story. No IOL in rounds 1-3 and probably until the sixth round. (Unless they’re true to the board in Rd 5.) And God I hope I’m right. Let Kromer develop like he is now. He’s a very underrated/highly regarded positional coach, if that’s even possible. I think it may be more of him wanting to do his stuff his way and some HC’s get bothered by it. I say let him work his magic. Sorry for the ramble… -

I have in my possession a game-worn Carl Byrum jockstrap and I refuse to speak any further about how it came into my possession.

Do not be surprised if DeJean is who they covet. Just a hunch…and flame away.
