  1. Yes. We are regressing and even with the assets devoted to defense, we are inept. McD needs to give up that side of the operation to an accomplished coordinator after the season and not meddle with their coaching.
  2. We’re extremely deep with mid-level talent at this position. We’re a contending team and the coaches are seeing that the kid is raw and in need of coaching (my opinion here). The practice reps are important but also few and far between during a season. Don’t overthink being inactive - we don’t need him to produce this season.
  3. Dang everyone. Lay off my neighbor.
  4. The GIRD Herd, because they give me heartburn every game.
  5. Mike makes really good peanut brittle.
  6. He was shaky. I honestly thought he missed a couple “made” attempts. He still has the yips.
  7. Yuk. Great guy and now I have to hope he’s pancaked every down.
  8. Wow. Not going to lie, I thought he passed long ago. Great media personality in his day.
  9. The cap is an illusion. Don’t worry about it.
  10. The most important ability is availability.
  11. I think mine would take longer to heal. Hey-yo!
  12. Hopefully best available. Duh. We have a great front office that doesn’t ever let the roster be “bare” If you will.
  13. I’m worried about our future.
  14. Are people really this stupid?
  15. I’m very curious to see how the Iggles react to Brandon Graham retiring - meaning who’s gonna keep Jalen out of trouble. The kid has been compared to Jerome Brown (I see why) and he also likes to do stupid stuff while driving. Just a thought. I can’t hate the Iggles, best friend is a lifelong fan and writer for the team.
  16. We traded him for the 5th round pick that we used to select Kyle Williams. I think it worked out for us pretty well.
  17. Ralph actually endured burying an adult child, one who was deeply involved in the organization, and responsible for our drafting of Jerry Butler. This is why Ralph took the hospice network in Buffalo under his wing financially. I’m pretty sure you don’t know this, based upon n the initial comment, but he lost his only offspring and it affected him profoundly. I’ll say it again, Ralph was an insurance guy and that caused him to have a difficult time quantifying the impact/salary equation. However, as a human, you quite possibly could find no better example of graciousness and kindness. He quite literally funded Buffalo and Detroit in some specific areas that had profound impacts on him. That is a sign of a noble person and I hope people in similar situations follow his lead.
  18. For those of us old enough to remember Pete Metzellars, he’s his long lost cousin. The guy is the best blocking TE to come into the NFL in a very long time. If he can catch, and not even run, he’s going to be Josh’s best friend, soon. He’s one of the newbies I’m looking forward to watching.
  19. He would be extremely jealous of the contracts and guarantees that each and every player earns. Ralph, being an insurance guy, had a difficult time weighing salary decisions. You see, the first rule of finance is to mitigate risk, and I truly think he had a terribly difficult time dumping big $$’s into a few guys - early. I appreciate him being our founder, but he was a miserable owner - especially during early and mid ownership eras. May the old guy rest in peace and worry not about my opinion…
  20. The system is very kind to CB’s. We’re gonna be ok. A “serious camp battle” will be Jackson and Ingram vying for the last CB spot. The loser spends time on the practice squad until a season ending injury occurs.
