So now we have to factor in future injuries and if you don’t know that the modern ProBowl is a joke, I just don’t know what to say. Come on bruh, BB ain’t perfect at all, but he’s a good GM and perfect for our situation. Read “The GM” by Ernie Accosri, Beane is old school and I’m happy he is. I’m serious about the pu$$y thing. Try it out. It will be a game changer for you.

I’d like to Thank Uticaclub and mike10times for reminding me why I shouldn’t ever post on TSW. I’d like to ask if either of you have ever seen a real life V-JJ. It’s important, try it.

Hoecht and Ogunjobi 6 game suspension for PEDs

Well, it does give a couple presumably younger players a chance to really showcase themselves. We just have to pray we don’t suffer a rash of injuries at this position in camp and preseason. -
It’s mikie10times. Dude, get a grip. You’re the world’s largest Annoyatron.

Bernard. Benford. Troll.

You’re all about signing guys to big contracts - other teams’ UFA’s - so I thought I’d toss TE in there. By your standards, he a sure-fire HOFer. Fella got hella money, right? You just want to argue. Wait, did my wife join TSW?? Becky, is that you?

Tre White, Matt Milano, Edmunds, Oliver, Taron Johnson, our two tackles, Shakir, Rousseau, and some asshate named Allen. Stop trolling.

Homegrown talent is the best talent. Don’t be a hater.

This is spot on. Fill the roster with as many proven vets (not necessarily all stars, but guys who have played) as possible, stack draft picks, and go into the draft with as many options as possible to ensure he doesn’t “have to” draft any particular position. The only holes we have currently are boundary corners, which I expect to be addressed now. Then, if we get through camp with little or no lingering injuries, he can trade some would-be cuts for future draft capital. Rinse and repeat every offseason.

Joey Bosa signs with Buffalo. 1 year, $12.6 million

Situational pass rusher to keep him away from long drive abuse. Kind of what VM has been. -
We have better luck in the 5th… Exactly. But the cheap contracts are 100% necessary. You have to build with the draft when you have a top QB.

Bills bring back Darrynton Evans

Exactly my first thought. Love me some App State football. -
I’m so sorry my friend. I wish there were something I could do to assuage the sorrow.

He’s from Toronto. Makes sense that he wants to play near home.

This is just awesome. I met Reid at a grocery store in Texas a couple weeks ago. Seems he lives very close to me in the off-season. He wanted to come back and told me he made that clear to Beane and Coach. 4 years??? Even better so his kiddos will have more memories to create of their dad being an NFL player.

Look for answers, not questions.

And this is why teams sign draft picks in June.

You don’t have to wait until 6/1. You can cut him with a 6/1 DESIGNATION before that. Think T White last year.

I feel like far too many people see our own players through rose colored glasses. Daquan Jones is a great example of Bill Walsh’s belief that he’d rather move on from a player a year too soon than a year too late. He should not have been resigned last year and now we’re stuck with a rapidly declining and old DT being paid starter money. We’re keeping AJE, Bass (unless he craps the bed in TC), McGovern, and Jones. Possibly Lewis because TJ is showing signs of his body breaking down and Lewis is familiar with that specific NCB/in-the-box Safety/mini LB role. Miller, Rapp, Trubisky, and Martin must be moved on from at their current numbers. Miller is a shell of his former self. Rapp’s playing style combined with his inability to absorb his own punishment means he’s a backup - at best. Trubisky can stay on a vet minimum salary. Martin can be replaced with a lower cap hit player. And, again, the only 3rd rounder that would be involved with a David Edwards trade is us including our 3rd round pick to get someone to take his salary. Watch the AFCCG - he was bad.
-
Nobody in The League is gonna trade a ham sandwich for Edwards, let alone a 3rd. Edwards was pretty terrible in the AFCCG and could (probably will) be cut for cap savings. Misspelling
-
Anyone else for using our draft capital for trades?

This isn’t the NBA - we need inexpensive players to perform and hand out good contracts to the keepers. -
But all of the restricted guys need to be re-upped. That’s roster development and I should’ve been more clear.

Corner projects and DL should be the focus in the draft. If we sign Hollins, a WR with developable talent, but not an early pick. Allen doesn’t trust rookies enough to warrant a very early pick.
