I'd like to see what the scoreboard can do at the QB position for them.

I wish we would consider this concept on defense. By that I mean I'd like us to play more aggressive at the risk of giving up more big plays instead of playing soft zone all the time. By just trying not to give up big plays we have been really letting opposing teams matriculate down the field and chew up massive amounts of clock, giving Josh Allen less time to do his thing. I'd rather stack a lot of guys in the box and play more press man with increased probability of stopping drives cold or giving up the big plays which in either case means our offense gets back on the field quicker. I've hated the bend but don't break defensive concept my whole life. Maybe now that Frazier is gone we will change it up some.

I think its just that sinking feeling of more wasted draft capital that this team cannot really afford any more of considering how the rest of the conference has been progressing.

Like seeing Greg Rousseau at the Von Miller pass rush summit soaking up as much info as he can. Seems like a guy who really wants to up his game to another level. He's shown flashes last year. With a healthy Von on the other side, I pick him to be the teams breakout player of the year.

I hate to knock Beane too much because I do love the guy and nobody knew how the offseason was going to play out but 2 years 13.5 million for Harty doesn't seem so great in retrospect. The colts signed McKenzie for 1.1 million. I doubt Harty is going to have the same production that McK did last year here for 6 times the price. Especially when he is going to have to split reps with Shakir and now Kincaid. I woulda rather saved that 13 million on Harty and made a real stab at a true number 2 in Hopkins.

Right. Pure gobbledygook. Would be on par for the way Beane works though, like bringing in a bunch of middling slot receivers on arguably overpaid contracts and then using your number 1 draft pick on a tight end and pivoting to running a more 12 man personnel.

Yeah. I can't really come up with another player in this league who if you removed them from the field would cause the team to basically implode moreso than Josh Allen. Mahomes is pretty vital to his team but even when they threw in Chad Henne in during the playoff game against the Bengals, he went on a 98yd scoring drive with them. One could make a case that Von Miller is the best edge rusher in the modern era but we went on a 6 game win streak without him last season.

Considering how a large part of this show revolves around the family life of players I have some doubts whether they would target Allen or any of the players you mentioned since most or all are unmarried without kids. Hope they do though.

I'm more curious how the Stefon Diggs saga plays out if we do in fact miss the playoffs this year. I personally give us an equal 15% chance of missing playoffs and 15% chance of making the SB.
