Beane didn't seem like he was really targeting a big name playmaker RB judging by his presser. Sounded more like he was talking more about adding depth when replying to question about adding a bigger size RB.
Imagine the Bills OL as a bridge where a section has collapsed..and isntead of repairing the bridge they want to try and bring in a bus that can fly over it.
31 teams in the NFL HAVE to lose each year. Not sure where you're going with this unless you want the league to hand out 31 participation Lombardi trophies.
We'll never fix the run game 'til we improve the OL. We improve the OL Singletary and Cook just get better. So does the passing game. If there's no market out there for Singletary then hopefully that means we just get him back for a more team friendly deal. Focusing too heavily on RB is misplaced priorities IMO. We have bigger needs at guard, WR2 and MLB still. That being said if we were to grab Bijan Robinson at 27 this year I would not be upset as there just isn't anyone great at the other positions we need early on.
How many slot receivers do we need? McKenzie, Crowder, Shakir, Hines? This better not be the big move at WR that Beane is making this offseason.
I was perfectly happy handing the slot position over to Shakir full time. We need WR2
This season is far different from season 1 of McD. His first season started a new era from being perennial losers to finally making the playoffs. Now we are a perennial contenders with an aging generational QB that seems to consistently get outcoached deep in the playoffs. Fans have higher expectations these days and far less patience.
I wonder, was our number 1 defense the last few years really that good? Sometimes the offense makes the defense look better simply by keeping them off the field.
Bills love affair with RBs they will never actually utilize continues...
Not that I'm entirely opposed to going after Robinson only because just about this entire early draft class is dog poo
Not sure where you're going calling half the message board here bootlickers. Everybody, including you..I think...agrees that Watson wasn't worth his contract. And just about everybody including you...I think...agrees it would probably be foolish to give Lamar that much money guaranteed. Just because everyone is thinking the same thing doesn't make it collusion.
Word on the street is Josh Allen is past his prime and a chump for not working out during the off season. We should trade him and go after Daniel Jones while there's still time.
