  1. I'd be shocked if Beane was willing to give Cook anywhere near what he wants. What do you think he would give?
  2. Here are Beane's 2nd round picks if anyone wants to compare what we would have potentially had to give up. Cole Bishop Boogie Basham OCyrus Torrence AJ Epenesa Cody Ford James Cook
  3. Some positive comments from Stefon. “I really look forward to (playing with Drake Maye). It’s crazy because when you ask around, he has a lot of similarities — people say through the grapevine, he acts a lot like Josh. That was my guy, so I look forward to meeting and connecting with him.” https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/stefon-diggs-on-drake-maye-im-excited-people-say-hes-like-josh-allen
  4. Im sure they've thought of this, but anyone who has ever sat in row 4 of the Jim Kelly Club (or whatever nonsense theyre calling it now) knows how much that row sucks. Any moisture comes off the roof above and drips, drips, drips right onto your head all game.
  5. I apologize too. I recognize that you are an expert on this topic but please try to remember that we are not all experts and may not get it quickly.
  6. Are you being purposefully obtuse? At this point, I have to assume the answer is yes. I have repeatedly given you the benefit of the doubt despite numerous rude responses coming from you, but no more. I asked whether the architects released the “60% under cover” figure — not whether they know how many seats are under cover. I asked that question because your previous response — dripping with condescension — was, “Yes, I’m sure the architects are part of some larger marketing conspiracy.” But if the architects didn’t release that figure, then no — they wouldn’t be part of what I was referring to as marketing. So let’s walk this back: 1. I said I was skeptical of the 60% figure and suggested the Bills may have inflated it. 2. You replied sarcastically, implying I was accusing architects of lying — which I never said. 3. I then asked if the architects released that number, and you responded - again condescendingly - questioning whether I thought the architects wouldn’t know it. I honestly can’t tell if you’re being deliberately difficult or just struggling with reading what i’m writing. My hypothesis is that the Bills are inflating numbers for marketing. Newflash: Businesses lie. A LOT. All the time. This has nothing to do with the architects. When Subway sells a “foot long” sub that is actually only 10 inches, we don’t then ask if the bread manufacture knew how long the bread is. Because that makes no sense! The bread manufacturer didnt market it as a foot - Subway did.
  7. It’s frustrating when posters give answers but don’t actually read what the other person says. I think it is because many of you want to rush to answer instead of stop to understand. I have said multiple times that I don’t doubt the overhang covers the upper deck. My double is that this = over 60% of seats.
  8. No that’s the press box above it. I deleted that post because the pic is so grainy (actually they’re all grainy but that pic was deceiving) that it’s hard to actually count the rows. But here is the opposing angle showing the press box above it. Looks to be about 15 or so rows on that entire sideline. Then the corners jut out to 20 rows, before the end zones go back down to 12-15 rows. Edit: Scanning around pics online I think the opposing sideline goes up to 23 rows? Hard to tell because they rarely show that sideline for whatever reason. But yeah, upper deck is definitely smaller than the current stadium.
  9. The architects said it would cover over 60% or seats? That’s news to me. I’ve only seen that tidbit come from the Bills.
  10. I’ll believe it when I see it 😂. Every time I see new angles of the stadium I believe more and more that the cross-section was marketing propaganda. To be clear, I acknowledged it will cover the upper deck. I just don’t believe that will be 60% of the seats.
  11. Yeah. Thats why I like the Tottenham design better (even though ours is modeled after it). It is an open-air stadium but the overhang covers all the seats. It would have given best of both worlds. I know my Physics. I don't know architecture. I'm clearly missing some important details because there is no physics on earth that makes this small overhang have te ability to cover more than half of the stadiums seats. I know picture angles can skew things but I have seen the roof from numerous angles now and every single one looks like it *barely* covers the upper deck. And in some places it looks like it doesn't even cover the full upper deck. On the left side of this picture you can see some seats are covered from the seats above it - there must be a largeeee number of seats under there. SoCal is our architecture expert.
  12. Updated view of what the roof overhang is covering.
  13. Just my opinion, but I think the upper deck 50’s are going to be the best value in the entire place. Completely shielded from weather, great view, and relatively cheap.
  14. You're not wrong, but you're applying a standard for Allen that you're not applying to the other QBs in the NFL. ANY of the top 5 QB's in the NFL, if they chose to hit the open market instead of sign with the team that drafted them, would get significantly more. Because that is true of ANY of the top QB's, it makes the argument of "he could have gotten more on the open market" a bad argument. Because it holds true for all of them. In other words - that is already baked in. Based on the QB market as it is, Allen got a FAIR deal. He didn't give us a killer deal. Or if you want to say he gave us a great deal because he could have gotten more on the open market, that is akin to saying "Allen did what every QB does" - which, then, makes it a lot less special, doesn't it?
  15. If he said pay me 120m a year, would they have paid it? The argument that we got a deal because he could have asked for the moon is a poor argument in my opinion. If you want to look at a player who gave true deals, look at Brady. Best QB of all time, and was never the highest paid - ever. He was rarely even in the top 5.
  16. I'm very willing to believe that if you have some evidence for it. I want it to be true. However, the research I have done has led me to the opposite conclusion. One source: "It has the largest total guarantee (full and injury) in NFL history — $230 million. It’s also the highest annual average from signing at $55 million. The four-year cash flow is a record $220 million... That works out to “new money” of $175.446 million. So with two new years and $175.446 million, that’s a “new-money” average of $87.723 million." link Another source: "Sifting the #Bills Josh Allen contract, #Chiefs Patrick Mahomes has to be on deck for a tear-up renegotiation. From a new money vantage, Allen is averaging $87 mil+, by virtue of it being a tear-up deal & not a tack-on. Next nearest new-money avg was Dak Prescott’s $60 mil. Wild." link I don't see any deal here. It is the richest NFL QB per-ann contract in NFL history. Does he deserve it? Yes. Was it a deal? No.
  17. Godwin is what? almost 3 years younger than Diggs? Pretty big difference.
  18. Yeah. I'm the biggest Allen homer one could imagine ... but he didn't give us a deal. That was all agent PR. They did an excellent job at it. Convinced a lot of fans. That being said, he is worth every penny and have no problem with it.
  19. Yep Greg too. Probably even more so.
  20. Im not sure why you think we have to go over it again. I know it covers the upper deck. That's dinky. Considering that the upper deck is a whole 15 rows makes the roof overhang covering not very impressive, and as I said before, dinky. And also as I said before, for me anyway, its not just about being covered from the elements. Its also about the nice intimate atmosphere that the larger overhang gives. .
  21. Hi Maddy.
  22. see, I think it’s the complete opposite. To me it sounds like she is always giving the most basic and generic response possible. Tasker: I am really liking how much Spencer Brown has grown. He used to struggle in pass protection against speed rushers but he has held his own lately. He is turning into a complete pass and run blocker. Glab: Yes, Spencer Brown, Bills right tackle and a large intimidating force out there. Tasker: *Stares blankly at her*
