Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start
ArdmoreRyno replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes and our secondary in those games were nearly 100%, minus Tre in the first game and Hyde in the 2nd. Now? We are pretty banged up... Poyer isn't 100% (even though his 75% is better than most 100's), we lost our leading tackler for the year, Tre isn't the same as he was last year (been burned a lot and had had several flags for holding or PI), Hyde won't play. If you don't think any QB could simply use the speed of Waddle or Tyreek for a big play, not sure what to tell ya. I've watched way to much football to be completely convinced we won't struggle in the secondary. We win, by 10+ but I feel we are barely hanging on with our defense right now. -
What did you pick? I went on a limb and make a prediction. So what? I love how some people come in AFTER the fact and do this crap. Pathetic.

I hope so. We are 9th in passing yards allowed this season... and that's with one less game. -

Our secondary right now vs Waddle + Hill = I wouldn't be so sure they don't both go off again. But you can pretend the dude can't do crap against us based on a few starts in the NFL. -

Yes... and I don't care to be honest. I've see him up front in college do the same thing... then ball out one game. They haven't used him like he should be used (duel threat). -

You're actually right. People giving you ***** for it never watched him in college. I'm sure people would also make fun of Brock Purdy before he started for the 9'ers. -

I wouldn't sleep on Skyler Thompson when he was 100%. I watched him play at Kansas State and the dude can ball. He was like Brock Purdy in the Big XII. -
I honestly have no idea. I still don't know how OSU lost to Baylor last year in the title game. We beat the crap out of them earlier in the season, in Waco, in a game Spencer Sanders threw 4 interceptions. TCU beat them by double digits earlier in the season. Football is just weird sometimes. Especially the past couple of seasons.

Making my pick. Not 100% a Big XII homer in this one, but close. I think TCU has just enough to beat Georgia and how they play as a TEAM will get them the win. Pure grit. Quentin Johnston is a game changer and believe TCU is the only WR/QB combo that is as good as any UGA has faced this year. Ohio State lit up the Bulldogs in the air.

Pick 1 NCAA player to add to the Bills
ArdmoreRyno replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in College Football
He's a pretty special RB. I got to watch him live a couple times against my Cowboys. Texas underused him against us in the 2nd half in Stillwater (one reason we beat Texas... again.) I've watched some GREAT running backs while attending Oklahoma State games... Thurman, Barry, AD, Ricky. Bijan is up there in my top 6-7 of ever watching. He's better than Brence Hall IMO. -

The dude is a badass. I was at the Fiesta Bowl last year when my Pokes beat ND and I was in awe of how good Mayer's was in that game. I really thought he'd go pro LAST year, would have been a first round pick at that point. I think he's a top selection this year. But I'm a massive Knox fan so I don't think we need Mayer. -
Devin Singletary not scoring a TD with 34 seconds left

And too add... speaking of kickoff. Tyreek Hill, he was at Oklahoma State (I'm an Oklahoma State alum/fan/season ticket holder) and I've seen him return MANY kickoffs and punts for touchdowns. We could have scored the TD only to let the most dynamic player in the NFL return it full speed. No thanks! -

I've played WAY too many Madden's game where I see Hill go for 80 yards on a BS deep pass. Motor made the right call. Bass wasn't missing that FG. -
Week 16: Bills at Bears on Christmas Eve
ArdmoreRyno replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chicago scares me, a little. Yea, they're 1-10 the last 11 games but most games... it's pretty tight. Went to the wire vs the best record team in the NFL. Only scares me because it's on the road and because of Fields. Dude can run. -
Bryce Young and Will Anderson To Play In Sugar Bowl.....
ArdmoreRyno replied to Bill from NYC's topic in College Football
It matters to MOST fans. MOST players. I can't think of any program other than Alabama that would have this mindset. I played college football (yet, just for a year on a practice squad) and I continued to have numerous friends who played and coached at Power 5 schools. Later I covered Oklahoma college football (mainly OSU and Tulsa) as a photographer. I don't recall any that didn't care about playing in and winning a bowl game. Going somewhere like Hawaii, playing in the Rose Bowl, getting fun extras from the Playstation Fiesta Bowl, etc. It's fun and does give these kids more time to shine. More practice for the underclassmen. Etc. -

I think this one would be WAY better to open with...

What is better, no guns, or more guns?

He does. Kevin Mahan had prior arrests, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a drug arrest, a felony traffic arrest and a robbery arrest. Records show in 2013, Mahan was sentenced to three years in prison after he was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm. In 1998, Mahan was convicted on two counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery. Court records also show that back in December 2021, an officer was used a Taser on Mahan while trying to arrest him. The arrest came after a driver told police that Mahan tried to carjack him and verbally threatened to kill him at a Gate gas station on 103rd Street. Mahan pleaded no contest to resisting arrest and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. -
Worked my rear off getting my team from 12th to 3rd in my league this year. Facing the 6th place team, who I destroyed earlier this year.... Projected to win by 21 points and Kittle decides to have his best game of the year (yes, he has Kittle). Went from a 59% win projection to 47% My line up: QB: Allen RB: Zeke RB: Antonio Gibson WR: Tyreek WR: Mike Williams TE: Knox Flex: G. Wilson Def: Jets K: Bass He has: QB: Mahomes RB: Kamara RB: Akers WR: Lockett WR: Van Jefferson TE: Kittle Flex: Pittman Def: Dallas K: McPherson

Libs are just made that Elon isn't one of theirs. The thing about Musk? He doesn't give a sh*t. He tells it like it is. That triggers the left SOOOOOOOOOO much. It's comical.
