What is better, no guns, or more guns?
ArdmoreRyno replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The whole "arm brace makes a weapon more dangerous" thing is asinine. Those politicians who spew this BS need to be removed from office. -

Every school needs a SRO. We used to have one here at the school I work for, but we haven't had one for 3 years. Next fall, we are bringing one back (thankfully). As for the kid in Denver... I'm shocked he was allowed back at the school. We do threat assessments all the time with students and if they get to the point to where they need a safety plan, they are going home and doing their school work virtually. We aren't going to risk it. They CLEARLY should have done that with this kid in Denver. -

When are we signing Zeke?

#1 on the list should be Katie Noel. #2 Rebecca Black

The kid beauty pageant episode will leave you on the ground in tears laughing.

No Sarah McLaughlin? Fiona Apple also has one amazing voice.

Okay, I take back my comment about her looks. Nasty... smoking cigs... shaped like a pear... no thanks. (Yes, I'm Shallow Hal)

No, but I live 10 miles from Lake Texoma. I am about 1/2 mile from what is called "Blue River", which is a fly fishing river (trout). I just have a pond on my ranch, bass and crappy.

Not a whole lost of weight. (I live about 90 minutes from Dallas, in the Oklahoma side of Texoma... Tishomingo)

Anytime the kids ask for something and when they don't get it, they whine. My typical reply: "People in hell want ice water... that doesn't mean they get it." (BONUS: Name the movie)

At the school I work, all the lunch ladies are like the ones you remember from our childhoods... old AF. This one? Dude, she's smoking for a lunch lady... let alone a lunch lady AIDE! lol

Wow, that sucks. Feel bad for the kids! There was a game here in Oklahoma a week ago (like 4A girls basketball semi's) where, in a 1 point game with 2.5 seconds left, the team with the slight lead stole the ball and the girl was so excited with her steal... she took off running towards her bench with the ball. Her teammates swarmed her and the bench cleared, celebrating. The officials rushed off the court. 2.5 seconds left when she stole it then took 20 steps holding the ball to her side. No walking called. Game over.

Has a woman ever wanted to leave you for working too much ?
ArdmoreRyno replied to Teddy KGB's topic in Off the Wall
She grew up not too far from Firebaugh, California (where Josh is from), in a small mountain town. She told me that they spent most of the time outside in the woods and mountains and didn't have internet and rarely TV. So she wasn't a sports person. She will go to football and basketball games with me in Stillwater, but she doesn't really care, but I love that she tries to act like she cares for me. She told me the first time I took her to the game "I just hope they both have fun" lol. When our Bills win she will say, "Great job babe!" like I took part in the game. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 -

lol… well, she’s like 17 years and 11 months younger. We met on Facebook a few year ago via a mutual friend. She commented about my dogs and I grew a pair and asked her out. The age gap was a huge concern for me at first but we quickly fell in love. She's more of an "old soul" so its works great, lol. Whats crazy, and maybe its a bad thing, but we've never had a fight. The only negative? Shes not a sports person… I've taken her to her first football and basketball game. BUT, she roots for the Bills (& Okla State) and she knows who Josh Allen is and knows all our "songs and chants" 😁😁 -

Against my better judgement, but here she is. She's an amazing person, very grounded, great mother, heart of gold. -
Hundreds of thousands of United States citizens have been killed directly (like what took place this past week in Tamaulipas) or indirectly (overdoses). Mexico clearly has no control over the cartel issues that plague that country and when will enough be enough? It's like we have Syria on our Southern border. We practically went to war with Afghanistan over Al-Qaeda and Taliban because of 2,000+ being killed in NYC on 9/11... yet we have 100,000+ killed from drugs coming in from Mexico and we don't even bother really securing our border.

My (now ex) wife left me for NOT working as much as hear (IMO). I worked at home and took care of our daughters.... online handicapping business from 1995-2006, meaning I was one of the first in the world to do it. Made six figures a year working 1-2 hours a night online writing articles and making advertising deals for my site. She worked 9-5 as an attorney, made about half of what I made and she had an affair with a 'client'. Married him, divorced him and begged me back (I said no thanks). Damned if you do, damned if you don't. You both gave wedding vows to be there for each other, better or worse. For her to do that, f' that man. You don't need it. Fast forward 15 years for me: I'm engaged to a beautiful woman who is 18 years younger than me (I'm 48) andis way out of my league but supports me 100% with what I do. I do the same for her. It's night and day from my ex-wife. -
Texas & Zero U to join SEC for the 2024 season.

I posted "mostly 3 and 2 star", which per your post and numbers, is correct. OSU has been a top 10 program in wins the past 15 or so years made up of mostly 3 and 2 star players. Didn't say "majority 2 star". OSU has been a "3-star recruit" program since Gundy got there. There has been a few 5-star guys but they've been mostly busts (XLK, Bobbie Reid).
