  1. Just show the guy (and his lawyer) some Benjamins and it will all go away...
  2. At some point this year I hope we set to see classic blue on white. I miss it...
  3. Very winnable game for KC now, with the double double after the half. Vegas will not get a favorable call from the refs here on out.
  4. Every time I watch the Raiders, they seem to have two opponents--themselves and the other team. Tough to win that way.
  5. Any traded player wouldn't see the field until the GB game at the earliest, IMO. McD and his staff are conservative, process guys--not Sean McVay types. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2022/10/10/panthers-matt-rhule-christian-mccaffrey-dj-moore-brian-burns-trade-deadline/ "The desire to trade away veteran players makes sense. Carolina only has four draft picks in 2023, and a new coaching staff and/or front office will likely want more than that to rebuild this team their way." Moreover, the Carolina brass may decide to enter a full-on rebuild after being enticed by some of the top college quarterback prospects available this year. Even though it’s still early, the Panthers are currently in possession of the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft—something that could hold if the team continues its struggles and shops off a few of its top veterans. As Jones specifically stated, McCaffrey could be at the top of that list. After all, the sixth-year rusher is undeniably the best player on the team."
  6. No QB = no win in the NFL. Matt Corral is not that guy.
  7. If the Panthers tank for a QB and then develop him properly (i.e., don't immediately throw him to the dogs), CMC won't be of much use to them. Trading him while he still has some gas in the tank would provide more draft capital to rebuild with (like Beane trading Cordy Glenn to get ammo to trade up for Allen). That said, I'd give up no more than a 3rd round pick if CMC were in fact available.
  8. Russ is done. I'm amazed how fast and far he's fallen. Great trade for the Seahawks, really dumb for the Broncos.
  9. So Edmunds, Knox and Poyer haven't practiced all week. That usually means sitting on Sunday.
  10. My brother's the Forest Gump of our family. He's met dozens and dozens of former Bills over the years, just by happenstance. He's actually become friends with a number of them, including Thurman, Tally, Christie, Metzelaars and probably half a dozen others I can't think of right now. He retired from Disneyworld a few years ago. One of his best stories was of Terrence McGee, who he was getting in the park for free. In those days, you had to pay for parking and then get free admission with the employee pass. My brother drove through the parking gate ahead of McGee, who just stopped at the booth and didn't move. My brother went back to see what was wrong. Turns out McGee didn't have enough money to pay for parking--apparently his agent only gave him a small monthly "allowance" and he'd burned through it all (even before entering the park!). It always brought home the reality that some of these guys really needed help with managing life off the field.
  11. I once saw Bruce Smith in our local Tops during his peak years. I've never seen another person quite like him. His build made me think of a praying mantis--huge upper body, tiny little waist and great big thighs. It was pretty cool.
  12. I love that video because it gave a great view of how jacked Diggs legs are. He's not the biggest WR (some might even say slight) but his legs are truly impressive.
  13. I thought the broadcast crew said something to the effect of "Josh Allen said they weren't fully recovered from the Miami heat until Friday."
  14. With this injury list, I'll be very happy with 4-2 at the bye. The schedule difficulty is front-loaded and with some better health, the remaining 11 games look very winnable.
  15. Pacheco weighs 215, about 20 pounds more than Cook
  16. Game over. We better be as healthy as possible for that week 6 game. Rest Davis, Morris and and of the other banged up Bills vs the Steelers.
  17. Rest him against the Steelers and their rookie QB, get ready for the Chiefs game.
  18. Poyer Milano (13 tackles, 11 solo, 2 for a loss) Josh (every game)
  19. Not Bills-Ravens related but I can't believe how WRs are catching the ball these days...
  20. Unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant who evaluated Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa fired over 'several mistakes,' sources say https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34702740/unaffiliated-neurotrauma-consultant-evaluated-miami-dolphins-qb-tua-tagovailoa-fired-several-mistakes-source-says
