  1. The first seven games are a gauntlet. Will be fun to watch.
  2. LOL. So you met them. Your life must be complete now.
  3. Oh boo hoo. Schoebel is no different than Phil Hanson, Jim Ritcher, Shane Conlan, Joe Devlin, Nate Odems, Henry Jones, Ted Washington, Will Wolford....
  4. Which would be the same number he made when he was playing. Aaron was not into the 'NFL media machine" thing. He was a quite, hard working guy who let his playing speak for itself.
  5. That was my thought when I saw the report on his new gig. I don't ever remember a single interesting thing he's said over his career. That better change or he'll just be Joe Montana 2.0
  6. Easing Tre back from injury and not handing a starting job to Elam is very McBeane-like. The Rams had plenty of pass rush last year and added a cherry on top with Von Miller. A one-year "play for a ring" deal for say $5 million for Bradberry could be the juice that elevates this defense to true #1 status. .
  7. Bill Polian and John Butler worked for the Bills, for example, and helped put the fire out for a time.
  8. One year deals are wildcards. If Bradberry gets a ring out of it, what kind of payday could he get in 2023? That's the calculus he and his agent may be weighing right now.
  9. It was all smoke before the draft, all $hite after. I stopped reading after the guy said Kyle Hamiliton (9.33 RAS) "checked every box except for the athletic component."
  10. "A lot of people are saying..." Opps! wrong forum.
  11. The BIG question then: If Allen had gone before pick #7, would Beane have gone with Mayfield? I shudder to think how things subsequently would have unfolded had THAT scenario gone down.
  12. Yep. A much better skill set. The defense can now play much faster in base 4-3 and save $3 million doing so.
  13. Question about how team's draft boards are set up and making late round picks. I've heard it said that teams may have only 150-200 guys on their draft boards. However, when they get to the 6th or 7th round, what do they do if every guy on their board is gone? Do they just pick names going on measurables or personal ties? I was thinking of Tenuta, as an example. He doesn't fit the Bills profile athletically, but his dad's a long-time college coach and may be friends with someone on the staff. Or, do area scouts get to take fliers on guys they like? Or maybe a dartboard or pulling names from a hat? Any insights?
  14. He looks athletic enough in his highlights. Looks like he has very good hands, as well.
  15. Those were only punts in between the 30-yard lines (hence, placement-oriented).
