Unfortunately this is probably needed. We need a small rebuild. Our defense is bad. Idc about regular season stats one bit. They suck when it matters.

There's definitely some good points but I hate the constant comparison without context. Our team (around Josh) and coaching need serious improvement. Next year will be a bust, we need a mini rebuild.

I call BS. Mahommes has had every advantage over Allen. Coaching, offensive players, and in the past offensive line. Unfair comparison. That this needs to be pointed out is absurd. Mahommes was throwing to people wide open all game. Allen had to dodge pressure until someone got open.

You pay no attention to Trump do you? He is just as senile as Joe. He spoke about taking over airports during the revolutionary War, think about that. He's mixed up people dozens of times lately and said he ran against Obama in 2016. And no, it wasn't a clever quip. He's lost mentally. But you'll ignore it. Its the diaper. It's gotta be. Acceptable answer. Josh isnt above criticism. Anyone saying this game is his fault though is being absurd but criticizing him for a couple plays is fair. My response would be pointing out that we have a defensive coach whose defense has consistently let us down in the playoffs. This isn't the first time our d has been carved like swiss cheese. So why keep him if he isn't good at the thing he's supposed to specialize in?

So you'd put this game more on him than the Defense that our Defensive coach manages?

I don't get how you can say McD did a great job. I can't see it in any way. His main responsibility tonight was the defense and they were horrendous. He is just not smart enough to beat the great coaches in this league. Every year we stick with him out of a misplaced sense of loyalty is one more year Josh doesn't win a super bowl. We'll look back on these years with awe that we had one of the great QB's and couldnt do squat with him.

And that is 100% what lost us the game tonight. It was pitiful in every respect.

Yeah the coach that won the most superbowls would do worse than Sean McDermott. Great take. I don't think any moves are being made but getting the legend here would likely result in a super bowl or 2. Not sure if you noticed, we already have a good QB so we really wouldnt need him for that part right? Let him build the defense out and we'd be good to go. Oh don't let him have a part in drafting receivers either.

Moving on from the coach is not irrational. I thought the people who said to move on from McD after 13 seconds were irrational, it turns out they were right. He did a great job building us up and ending the drought. But he clearly can't play with the big dogs. Defense is his specialty and the D was an embarrassment tonight by every metric. Yes we had injuries. More than most. It's no excuse to have wide open receivers every single drive allowing a team to easily move the ball down the field. He played a hurt punter and a kicker that clearly lost his confidence. We are wasting a very special player's prime years. It will be the great regret of the franchise unless we rip the band aid off.

That was the worst defensive game i've ever seen. Even when we had the perfect game against the Pats they at least made things hard for us. Mahommes had wide open people on every other pass play. It was pathetic. McD should be embarrassed. Miami played better D against the Chiefs and they had more injuries than us (they didnt have an offense controlling the clock most of the game either).

Well that's a crap reason, no offence. We were 6-6 because of him. The fact that he dug out of the hole he caused shouldnt matter. We want a super bowl right? Him being able to win one should be the only consideration. And I don't think he can. Today we saw one team make adjustments and get better and one team fold. I don't give a flying F about team culture. I want a super bowl.

And with that said, the greatest coach in nfl history is available. I'd love Beane to get aggressive fire Sean and make a run at Bill. Yeah I know its not happening. But it should.

You think that defense was going to stop Mahommes? All he would have needed was 20 seconds or so to carve us up. Yes, this game is on McDermott. It was his defense that played putrid all game. He trotted out a hurt punter, HE left in Bass despite him playing like shiite. Would have been better off grabbing a FA kicker. 100%, this loss is on him. If you're cool with throwing away next season because you think he's something he's not good on you. I give him props on making us contenders. He did great there. As for more? He ain't it. He's gotta go.

WHAT? How? Suddenly our D can stop the Chiefs even though they couldnt all game? What makes you think they dont just get a touchdown probably at will? Josh went toe-to-toe with Mahommes and almost won again despite having an offense that is not even near the same caliber and coaching that is not in the same stratosphere.

In terms of why we loss why would Josh even come up? As usual the team road on his shoulders. Our defense was high school level tonight. It was beyond pitiful. Big drops by receivers who often could not get open. Special teams playing hurt....? Why? We have a coach who we should be thankful got us to contender status but who will never win a super bowl. Another year with him is a total waste.

Why the F did we play the game with hurt punter? Seriously? And was Bass hurt too? He's been awful lately, if we played with both kickers hurt WTF. And if Defense is our coaches specialty he needs to retire. Pitiful. Yes, injuries. But we barely stopped the Chiefs once. Barely. This game was an embarrassment in every standpoint except offense. We cannot waste Josh Allen who is special as they come. Fire Mcd. As fast as possible. He'll never get us a superbowl unless Beane somehow amasses the best roster that has ever existed.

Uhhh what about the defense that made one lucky play? The area our coach supposedly specializes in.

I'll say it again, Dolphins were even more banged up and played much better. We literally can't stop them.
