McDermott - Excuses, Valid but concerning
L Ron Burgundy replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know Sean isn't going anywhere and these discussions may be pointless. The reason to have these conversations is that we at least need to pinpoint at what point we DO move on from him. Josh not winning a championship is not acceptable. It will be just as regrettable as losing 4 superbowls maybe more. The best coaches, to me, adapt their systems to personnel. Belichick teams always did. He's won multiple titles more on the back of his D than Brady. Our coach seems incapable of this. I don't want change for the sake of change. I want change to be smarter and more adaptable. So if we bomb out next season do we make a move? 2 years? 4? At what point does Josh get frustrated (though he seems incapable)? -

I dont know it seems Daboll isn't a people person. In terms of him and Sean it seems Daboll was the d!ck (at least that's likely according to reports from the Giants). -

I agree with a lot you say but McD is getting a pass for playoff performances from you. You mention the 13 second game. The only reason that we were in that was Josh. It's another game where our D is nonexistent. Thats on mcd. As Bills fans I think our biggest negative is being too loyal. I get that sound counter productive but you have to know when to cut ties. Give Mcd a standing a ovation by all means but do it as he's leaving. He has 1 game he coached well defensively in the playoffs. -

You keep talking about this year. I'm talking about his entire playoff resume. Zoom out. When rating his playoff defense he gets an F. And if that's his specialty wtf are we doing? What does he bring? Culture? Bottom line, I want someone smarter. I'd prefer an offensive minded specialist but I'll take what I can get. I wish I was where you are at in terms of faith in this team. It will all be on Josh's shoulders again. The defense? Likely worse unless we pull out a miracle draft. -

So the reason for historically bad playoff defenses is we've been too old? I don't buy that. I want to believe we're set up for success. It looks more like we've plateud. Good offensive coaches smoke our coach and I've seen nothing that shows he can adapt his approach to beat them. I get giving a pass this year but when you zoom out he gets an F for playoff defenses, his strength. So what's his purpose if he can't build a playoff defense? He gets crazy points for ending the drought. We're looking for Superbowls now. He may not be the guy. -

I respect this take and valid point about getting to the playoffs with Tyrod and on Elway. Now, you should examine Sean's defensive playoff performances. Historically poor. Great, he does well in the regular season. His defenses have been torched come playoff time. You can give a pass this year, what about other years? More and more he feels like Shottenheimer. We will forever regret not winning a super bowl with Josh. I hope we don't miss out because we held on to a coach who did a great job building us up but didn't have the acumen to close against great coaches when games count most. -
I've watched some of his greatest hits. He is batshit. I don't understand how he isn't arrested. He's just about openly advocating for civil war.

How do you explain Diggs invisibility act
L Ron Burgundy replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
Total opinion here not based in fact. Something has him down on the team. After the loss to Cinci he has not seemed the same attitude wise. Like he's unhappy. Is it personnel? Coaching or player? Relationship related? He and Josh seemed to be best buds and he's changed to just business. Jmo and more questions than answers. -
Mr. Pegula please read Tyler Dunne’s newest article
L Ron Burgundy replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everyone torching the author but not the substance of the article. People should be pis$ed about this defense. Our coach specializes in something he's terrible at in the playoffs. My biggest worry is that we regret not making a move later. Like we keep him crap next season away and we're stuck with him because there are no great coach options. I just don't see a benefit to him staying anymore. I know this is the popular Homer opinion. I can't see how it's wrong. I want to have faith next year will be great. I think it's gonna just be Josh carrying the team again. -

Beane & McDermott end of season press conferences
L Ron Burgundy replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cool. He wasn't going to help that dline that got virtually no pressure. I'm so jaded at this loss it's unreal. I doubt any defense has sucked this badly over 3 playoff games. I'm betting it's historically bad. -

All our cbs may be bums. Not horrible but only capable of playing within McDermotts system. A system which gets exposed routinely every year playoff time. -

"I'm driving over a road that's almost all paper & you know, you can see paper. I know paper. I know cans." Very smart guy your gonna help elect. There are probably thousands more nonsensical ramblings. -

And the option you're trying to wheel out is even worse. He's either wearing a diaper or has grown a fupa. He couldn't point to Ukraine on an unlabeled map. -

Airports during revolutionary War..... Trump blocked releasing his school transcripts (i think that story was real). You are defending the kid that can't stop picking his nose on the short bus. He wasn't intelligent when he was young now he's old af. He and Joe are basically the same age. -

Listen you constantly rail on Joe. Fine. But the guy trying to become president gets nothing? It's because you are as biased as anyone on this board. You also clearly ignore negatives on Trump. Joe is crap. Trump is somehow even worse. As for Trump being good or bad for Ukraine? Who knows but I doubt he'd be good. The thought of Putin being intimidated is laughable. Them both taking a competency test would be great. I don't mean like, what's this a picture of crap. I mean like geography, history, etc. I would put every penny on Biden winning that and I totally agree he is in steep decline.
