I dont know why but I want Deone to make it more than anyone else. Always loved giant, game-wrecking DTs like Wilfork and Washington. I know his chances aren't great, his build isn't ideal, back problems for a big guy are a bad sign. But this monster becoming a force could change our defensive identity.

If some rooks are immediately good I agree. If they're just depth probably not true.

More than any year before I am interested in the preseason. We need a couple draft picks to hit. We could really use one or more to be better than just good. Any one of our 1st four picks end up having ROY type season it could really change our defense. Isn't that all normal show biz stuff? I mean, rare is it when actors promote a movie and not speak in glowing term about costars. Sounds like nothing to me.

I'm going to assume he's going to be at least serviceable. Need a defensive pick to be good and we'll have a superbowl shot. Lots of good teams in the afc though.

I don't get the comments about him being slow, he's not. 4.46 isn't blazing fast but it's not slow.

I feel like Beane drafts high floor low ceiling players. Likely, this draft will be the same. We need someone to break through on defense. We need a game wrecker. I don't think we got one though Hairston has a chance.

REALLY hoping we still grab an earlier rd DT. A mauler that toughens up our front 7. Toughness is the word of the day. I hope.

That def is built to beat anyone. I hate comparing ours to theirs. We seem soft compared to them.

Here are my hopes for the Bills strategy. Starting/difference making players at CB and DT, and if the draft falls well WR, S, and LB. Then depth and special teams. I think there's a decent chance we can get 3 starters. The only thing I don't know is where the needs lie after CB and DT. Do we need a S more than LB? Probably, unless there's injuries at LB but there always are. A WR that has separation would be great but not an absolute need.
