  1. There is no question that the next 3 games are winnable, especially the way the team is playing, but…. It’s hard to win on the road. All three teams can’t afford a loss to the Bills even this early in the season and will give us their best effort. That said. 1) at Balt: Sunday night: Josh took a subtle shot at Lamar by calling him the 2 time MVP during a interview tonight. Josh is going to super focused against the Ravens to show who is the better QB. Ravens are 1-2 and their D has allowed 78 points and are 29th in QB pressure rate. If they can’t get to Josh, the Bills should win. 2) at Houston: This game scares me, but Houston has surprisingly struggled to score with only 55 in 3 games. Collins, Dell and Diggs are great, but Minn showed how to beat them; stop the run and force the young QB to beat you. Hard to do with our pass rush. Stroud has already been sacked 11 times. Mixon has an ankle injury and was out vs Minn. If he is slowed or out, all the better. 3) at the NYJ: Hall, Wilson etc… very scary weapons with a statute at QB. Defense has key injuries especially upfront. Get home on Rodgers should be the key. If the Bills win, they take control if the division.
  2. Skip Bayless is an idiot. No question Josh is playing in control great football. Besides Mahomes no one creates more scoring drives than Josh. That said: Josh was a high event QB with 220 TDs (167 pass, 53 rush) his first 6 seasons, but 122 turnovers (78 ints + 44FL). Net TDs 98 compare to Lamar. 155 TDs (125 pass, 30 rush) his first 6 years, with 78 turnovers (45 ints + 33 FL). Net TDs 77 Mahomes is on another level 231 TDs with only 80 turnovers.
  3. So lets see if I understand this. McBeane believes in accountability and earning PT. Interesting. I wonder why no one ever taught the Sabres these lessons?
  4. The question of this thread is the improvement of the WR room year over year. There is no question that this team doesn't miss Diggs or Davis at all. This is a better group with 5 guys who can all make plays. What a concept. You are also late to the draft and develop party. Beane committed to adding weapons for Josh through the draft 3 off-seasons ago. The Bills top 4 pass catchers are all draftees within the last 3 years in Shakir (14-168-2), Cook (8-97-1), Kincaid (8-85-1) and Coleman (5-75-2).
  5. WRs that the Bills could have drafted. Pick 28 - Worthy - 6 -81 - 1 (5 rushes 39 yards 1 TD) Pick 31 - Pearsall - IR Pick 32 - Legette - 6 - 77 Pick 33 - Coleman - 5 - 75 - 1 (updated) Pick 34 - McConkey - 10 - 109 - 1 Pick 37 - Polk - 5 - 31 -1 (1 rush 0 yards) Pick 52 - Mitchell - 2 - 32 Others: All non-listed WRs either didn't make their teams, on IR or have 0 receptions so far. 3rd rd - Corley (1-4), Burton (1-47), McMillian (3-59-1), McCaffery (6-62) (updated) 4th rd - Franklin (2-11), 6th rd - J. Wilson (1-9), Whittington (5-50) 7th rd - Vele (8-39)
  6. No, Keon was a 2nd round pick. The best thing about these Bills is PT is earned not demanded by prima donna wideouts. This receiver group is far superior to last year. These receivers actually catch the football and don’t sulk when they aren’t the focus of the offense. I think you’d be wise to see how things develop over the season, but this group is quietly dominating. Shakir is on pace for about 80 catches for 1000 yards and 11 TDs.
  7. Good thing Beane didn’t trade him once he got good for a day 2 draft pick.
  8. 6 different players - Johnson, Davis, Shakir, Coleman, Kincaid and Cook. Just saying.
  9. I think he meant Mitch Trubisky is better than Trevor Lawrence.
  10. Since they got down 17-3 in game 1 ——->Bills 109 - opponents 31 (defense only allowed 23).
  11. Who doesn’t get a game ball? The game was basically perfection. Special awards - Hamlin, Josh and Shakir!
  12. Maybe the best game I have seen the Bills play.
  13. Our backup line looks pretty good. 6 different Bills score TD’s tonight.
  14. My kids play and got me into it. I have the app on my Ipad.
  15. WRs that the Bills could have drafted. Pick 28 - Worthy - 6 -81 - 1 (5 rushes 39 yards 1 TD) Pick 31 - Pearsall - IR Pick 32 - Legette - 6 - 77 Pick 33 - Coleman - 4 - 51 (2 games) Pick 34 - McConkey - 10 - 109 - 1 Pick 37 - Polk - 5 - 31 -1 (1 rush 0 yards) Pick 52 - Mitchell - 2 - 32 Others: All non-listed WRs either didn't make their teams, on IR or have 0 receptions so far. 3rd rd - Corley (1-4), Burton (1-47), McMillian (3-59-1), McCaffery (3-18) 4th rd - Franklin (2-11), 6th rd - J. Wilson (1-9), Whittington (5-50) 7th rd - Vele (8-39)
  16. @Shaw66 Just read the story. Amazing! Give Benford the C.
  17. Now if he can just get Elam to raise his game.
  18. Actually Josh is a Lamborghini SUV with a 12 cylinder engine. He can run over, through and past you and he can also throw the ball anywhere and anytime. Can you imagine if Josh had Andy Reid?
  19. The Cardinals were originally the Chicago Cardinals and moved to St Louis in 1960. They then moved to AZ in 1988. The Rams started as the Cleveland Rams. The moved to LA in 1946. They then replaced the Cards in St Louis from 1995 to 2015 and then back to LA in 2016. You also forgot the Raiders are now in LV and that the Chargers actually started in LA (in 1960) before moving to SD for 1961 to 2016. Also KC started as the Dallas Texans in 1959 and moved to KC for the 1963 season. Washington also moved from Boston (1932) to DC in 1937. The Lions were originally the Portsmouth, OH Spartans (1930) and moved to Det in 1934. The Bears were founded in Decatur, Ill (1919) (Not a pro team) and moved to Chicago in 1921. Buffalo, Miami, NE/Bos, NYJ, Cinn, Cleve (2.0), Pitt, Hou (2.0), Jax, Den, Dallas, NYG, Atl, Car, NO, TB, SF and Sea are the only teams in their original cities. Det, Wash, Chicago, and KC have been in their current cities for the vast majority of their existence.
  20. Charlotte is the 20th biggest TV market. Raleigh the 21st. Carolina just needs better management. The Bills wandered in the desert for decades between Polian and Beane. Things got so bad the Bills were constantly in the relocation rumors. Get good management in Carolina and all the relocation BS ends.
  21. The Chargers are the most vulnerable franchise. They seem like the only NFL team without a home or fanbase. Not sure where they go however. LA doesn’t need two teams. Sacramento is the 20th largest TV market, Portland 23rd, Salt Lake 27th. Salt Lake has two successful college programs each w 50k+ capacity stadiums. Not sure they want an NFL team.
  22. I think you are basing your opinion on one draft where he got White, Dawkins and Milano. No one questions whether that was a great draft. The rest of his picks are pretty Meh! The 2014 draft was poor pick of Watkins, a few years of Preston Brown and then nothing. 2015 is journeyman Darby and pretty much nothing else. 2016 is Shaq Lawson and no one else. That leaves all of Whaley accolades from one great draft. Otherwise, no All-pro or pro bowlers from any other picks. Also Whaley's 2nd and 3rd rd picks were mostly bad. Whaley gave us greats like Cyrus Kouandjio, Reggie Ragland (who never played for the Bills), Adolphus Washington. His best day 2 picks were two mediocre players in G John Miller and LB Preston Brown. Besides Milano, which late rd Whaley pick made an impact on the Bills? None! By the time things are said and done Beane's 2022 draft will be considering vastly superior to Whaley's 2017 draft. The Bills currently have 4 starters from that draft in Benford, Bernard, Cook and Shakir. Now add Kincaid, Torrence and D Williams for 2023, Rousseau and Brown from 2021. Beane also added Oliver and Knox in 2019 and Allen, Edmunds, Teller and T Johnson in 2018. Harrison Phillips, also from 2018 has blossomed in Minn. Hard to call Moss and Singletary busts as they are starting running backs in the NFL this season. They just weren't an ideal fit here, but doesn't mean they were bad picks. In the late rounds Beane added starters T Johnson, Davis, Benford, Bass and Shakir, and good depth players Neal, Hamlin and Dane Jackson. Sorry, Beane wins this debate easily even with busts like Ford, Elam and Basham.
  23. The Bills...... to their new stadium across the street.
  24. Hard to respect someone with opinions like this. Did he watch the Bills roast Poyer in the Miami game? Allen’s rating is 124.2. Rodgers 103. Rodgers is a statute in the pocket. What is he going to do against the Bills pass rush with his mediocre o-line? I get being a fan, but facts are facts.
