Russ Tucker Hinds Community College - 🤪 (There are actually two players I can think of)!

Probably No. 2. Texas played well. What a crazy ballgame. To actually take a lead in the 4th qtr. Wow! Congrats to Bama. Nice win! See you again in the SEC Championship.

Bama looks great. 5 coaches from Tom Allen's old Indiana Staff.
-
So glad all of game day picked Bama.

Hoosiers 5-0 for the first time since 1967. Amazing what a good coach and some NIL money will do. Go Hoosiers 6-0 next week?

If you don't believe this than why did so many lobby and continue to lobby to acquire WR after WR after WR. The running theory during the off-season and into the season is that we must get a No. 1 receiver at any price and that we couldn't survive without Diggs. Well that theory has been shot to hell, yet and other keep bringing it up. I say stop!
-
Didn't say they did. I said the Bills are better because they have a more flexible offense without Diggs being feed 170 times a season and the results speak for themselves. I also said having an elite WR does not guarantee success as you and so many here want to believe. The facts also support my contention.
-
Actually it did. Which offense looks better to you? The feed the Diggs monster 170 times but he only catches 65% or the current offense where the top 5 receivers catch 80+% of his catches. So who are the top receivers in the NFL? How are their teams doing so far? It’s mixed. Lamb? His Cowboys are 1-2. Chase? Cinn 0-3? Nabers? Giants 1-3. Jefferson is 3-0, Collins 2-1. Having a top WR obviously isn’t enough to guarantee a top offense.
-
I get it! You wanted Beane to keep a declining Diggs or replace him with a big $ WR. This isn’t a narrative. It’s fact. Have you not watched the last 3 games? Joe Brady has a HoF QB, a top O-line that opens running lanes, and a pile of 10 good to excellent targets to throw too. Joe Brady can alter the game plan to take advantage of each teams weaknesses. Balt sucks on the back end of their defense. Expect a strong passing attack from the Bills.

Excluding JA, predict your impact player - Bills at Ravens
GASabresIUFan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shakir on offense. Cam Lewis -
lol, still beating the trade Cook idea. Just stop. Of the above list only Douglas is FA after this season and the odds are against him returning with Elam and the development of Ingram. Beane will worry about the rest later. Don’t forget that bigger contracts like Milano, Knox and Miller could easily be on the chopping block if he needs money to sign his young studs.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
GASabresIUFan replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would be very very surprised if Elam is traded. He is in year 3 of the system and Beane has been patient with guys growing up in the system like Ingram, Lewis, and Spector. Add that Douglas is a FA and Elam seems to have a nose for the ball, I doubt he gets moved unless Det makes a stupid offer like a 1st and a player. -

The best thing about having Bass as our kicker is that it has forced McD to be more aggressive. Thanks Bass!

@Mark Vader What’s wrong with Bob Cappadona? He played in our backfield in 1968 and went to Northeastern (and ND).

Week 4, Bills v. Ravens, PREDICT THE SCORE!
GASabresIUFan replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills dink and dunk down the field with some running mixed in. They control the game from start to finish and keep Lamar and Henry on the sidelines. Shakir has 10 catches for 125 yards and 2 TDs. Bills win 24-13. -

Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens (-2.5) | 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday, NBC The Bills have a day less to prepare for the Ravens this week, but that’s OK. Unlike the Cowboys, they will be able to contain Derrick Henry and force Lamar Jackson to beat them either with his arm or by scrambling. Jackson needs more out of Zay Flowers, who ranks 57th (out of 63 qualified WRs) in EPA per reception at 0.5 despite ranking third in average separation at the ball’s arrival at 4.35 yards. And the Ravens need more out of their defense. They have allowed just 2.8 yards per carry, but their secondary was leaky when the Raiders and Cowboys opened things up the last two games. Josh Allen has been spreading the ball around, but maybe he should lock in on Khalil Shakir more. It’s hard seeing the Ravens having an answer for Shakir, who leads the NFL in EPA per target (1.51). It’s a passing of the torch of MVPs. The pick: Bills https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5785494/2024/09/26/nfl-week-4-picks-predictions-betting-jayden-daniels/

Bills rank 9th in poll of top front offices in the NFL (article)
GASabresIUFan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not sure how to write this thought. If Beane isn't the best or one of the best GM's in football I don't know who is! How many GM's have taken a 60 mill dead cap hit, flushed out an old core in a off-season, loaded up on kids and a few castoffs for depth and made the team better instead of back-sliding like so many other teams have done in similar circumstances? Add that over the last 3 years he altered his draft philosophy to add more weapons for Josh early in the draft, added more draft capital overall, and then executed a development plan for late round picks and UDFA that has resulted in Ingram, Lewis, Spector, Benford, T Johnson, Hamlin, Dane Jackson, Siran Neal, Shakir etc... Also outside of KC and the Rams, which teams on this list have won a super bowl in the last 5 years?
