  1. That was a masterful defensive game plan. If he gets the HC nod good on him, he’s earned it.
  2. Mekari that game was legit too big for him. Not sure what was going on but he was snapping awful balls to Lamar all night.
  3. Hats off to OP. This was a defensive slugfest. Ravens brought their style of football to our house and we were there to return the favor.
  4. We played them at their game. Got their offense stuck in the mud and made the knockout punch on defense. I was entertained as hell. I love gritty games. This was gritty. We were neutralized by a very good defense but got a touchdown drive when they couldn’t get one. Their offense had no answer to our defensive game plan. Special teams was basically a wash with missed kicks and short punts. These kind of postseason wins put hair on chest and give you confidence that we’re a team that can lean on all our phases for the win.
  5. That was a great team win, defense showed the ***** up. Gritty and ugly, but we did what needed doing.
  6. Because he isn’t. He’s your Pierre Desir type CB. He makes plays, but for every plays he makes there’s 3-4 plays where he gets burned badly. I love his fire, but it needs tempering and refining.
  7. That throw by Rodgers out of the end zone 😮
  8. yeah it’ll affect the shot plays where you need to loft a rainbow over the DB’s head if the receiver gets a step. That’s just one of Allen’s ‘deep’ balls though. People forget he can basically throw 30-40 yard lasers on a rope down the field with pretty flat trajectory. Those will be just fine.
  9. That’s much more Whaley’s fault though. Trading multiple 1sts for a WR in a loaded class should be a fireable offense.
  10. yeah he makes impact plays but for every big play he makes there’s others where he vacates his zone, takes a bad angle or freelances too much. If you watch the all-22 where he’s been active you’ll definitely see it. I think with more time he’ll be a good corner on our roster and was definitely a good choice given his draft position. He doesn’t play optimally within the D’s scheme and is still rough around the edges. There’s a reason Norman and Wallace get the nod over him atm. After this year though I think we release Norman and I can see Jackson challenge Wallace for the 2CB spot.
  11. Duff’s is 🔥🔥🔥 That being said I’ve never been to the other two but will need to remedy that after the plague retreats and we’re allowed to do normal human stuff again.
  12. Bills rarely do something crazy like that and just activate random guys unless they're down depth. We can read the tea leaves all we want but my guess is Taiwan Jones takes the RB3 spot because he has a key role on special teams. Williams and Jackson will be inactive unless there's some exceptional with regards to the weather or some other extenuating circumstance.
  13. The thing that gets me most about the Winfield connection is that Winfield Sr played against Brady (and picked him off once too!) and now Winfield Jr plays with Brady on the Bucs. It's gotta be some bonkers stuff to hear your starting QB tell you stories about playing against your dad.
  14. In my madden head I force the ravens to track Knox, Beasley, Davis and McKenzie to one side of the field and try to create 1-1 with Diggs and Peters. Peters is an overly aggressive CB who freelances. He’s gonna try to go for the pick and in a 1-1 foot race with Diggs that’s a big mistake.
  15. The closer it gets to gameday the hotter and more irrational the takes/reactions get here. You should see the game day threads here 😂
  16. First play from scrimmage for the Ravens is going to start on the Bills side of the field? 🤨
  17. If I was Daboll I would think long and hard about being in the same division as Mahomes/Reid. You might be coming into a good situation but that's going to be one hell of a hill to climb every year to make the playoffs.
  18. Honestly against the Colts O-line with Rivers back there I expected it. I did not expect our team to get any sacks on him, and I was right. He has one of the best olines in the league and gets rid of the ball under 2.5 seconds. You're not getting to the QB in 2.5 seconds behind that line unless you bring the absolute house.
  19. Felt pretty lukewarm about the Beasley signing when it went down, but he bet on himself that he would shine in an offense that let his skills do the talking and he's been 1000% right He's not the strongest, or the tallest, or the biggest guy on the field but he's going to get open and catch the ball when it matters most.
  20. I think just like holding penalties at the line or with DBs, this was execution by the Colts to see how much they could get away with. They noticed that the refs weren't throwing flags for it, so they kept doing it.
  21. I'm secretly hoping he stays here for a couple of years to pad his resume and help us get a ring. Honestly if I'm him I would be very wary of accepting any head coaching position in the AFC West. That division is the new AFC East with the Chiefs/Mahomes there. Yes you have solid building blocks and a very promising looking rookie in Justin Herbert, but do you want to be stuck in a division where you have to play the Chiefs twice a year? With the Broncos and Raiders being okay, but not good enough its going to be a slog to win that division and most years you're looking at a wild card being your best shot to make the postseason.
  22. Well...shows what I know 😅 That being said, is Heath Farwell going to shuffle the special teams roster so that the Bills can have 4 RBs on the active game day roster? If they do do that, who is inactive? My guess is they've always dressed 3 RBs on gameday and Taiwan Jones has a key role as a gunner and will continue to do so, not sure Antonio Williams has the same straight line speed and special teams vet experience to read coverages and take approach angles the same way Taiwan does.
  23. I give it a very low chance that Williams plays on Saturday. To my knowledge he does not play special teams and we typically have 4 RB on the active roster with only 3 active on gameday. With Moss out Yeldon will take the RB2 spot and Taiwan Jones will keep RB3 because he plays special teams. Good chance Williams is elevated to the active roster, but is made inactive on game day.
