That…was not what I would have done. -
Made pizza dough and sauce yesterday. Got dry brined wings air drying in the fridge from last night. All ready to bust out some homemade pies, wings and a solid assortment of craft brews ahead of kickoff.

Stefon Diggs launches line of hot sauce and blue cheese
uninja replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Got a bottle. Not sure if I’ll ever open it. Have it mostly as a collectors item along with Josh’s cereals and his wing & bbq sauces. Still need to find the blue cheese. Just psyched we’re good again to have stuff like this. -
How in the hell of all that is holy are fried wings not gluten free? Ya'll eating breaded wings? Wtf that's gross, that's just a bony nugget.

Eh, we beat them last year without him. Hope he recovers quickly, but we've traditionally been weak up the middle with or without him. At this point I don't know if its personnel or scheme anymore.

Ranking Opening Day Over The Last Ten Years

We were actually playing the Chargers, that was the game that Ingram basically wrapped Allen up who proceeded to drag Ingram sideways for 5-7 yards and still got the throw off...it was unfortunately intercepted. -
Why Your Team Sucks: 2021 Buffalo Bills
uninja replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has to cover ground for 32 teams every year and the better teams with better records have more difficult things to roast/make fun of. We were easy pickings when we were mired in mediocrity. It’s a pretty consistent theme through his write ups. The front 9 for all the ***** teams are typically pretty good. The back half slacks off as the material dries up. Ya’ll should read the NE and Jets ones. Some good chuckles there. -
They have a young, inexperienced offensive line. I like our chances with our DL. Steelers could counter with small ball, dump offs and swing passes, which was a lot of their offense last year because they couldn't run the ball and BB is not a threat to escape the pocket under pressure anymore. Their NCB situation is also suspect, our better WR corps, Knox and DS should have a good day over the middle with quick developing curl/stick and slant routes assuming we can neutralize their LBs and suck them forward/freeze them with play action. I doubt they try to blitz much and will try and get pressure with their front 4, Allen proved last year that blitzing him was almost always a mistake. That being said their dline is still pretty solid and Heyward, Ingram and Watt can be quite disruptive. They'll also have Bush back from a torn ACL last year and their LBs and Safeties are solid on paper. I think we pull this one out in the end to something like 24-17 or 28-20, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if we spent the first quarter punting back and forth as both teams feel each other out and we try to find the soft spot in their defense to exploit.

AP exclusive: Bills propose new 60k seat stadium by (update - 2025)
uninja replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Between corporate sponsors, corporations using it as part of gladhanding/business development and well off people getting a permanent box for the year for 60 legal entities should not be that difficult. The WNY area can easily support dozens of private golf clubs with yearly dues into the 10's of thousands of dollars a year and very steep initiation fees. Getting a box for the year is basically the same deal. -

oof yikes. Had a massive brain fart there and blanked on Aaron Jones because AJ looked devastating late in the season and in the playoffs. -

SOS - Got Roped Into a Fantasy League That Drafts In 5 Hours

Alright, standard scoring means you'll want to prioritize RBs that get a heavy workload. Look for teams that have a dedicated RB or main back and don't do the committee thing (stay away from Bills RBs). Think Derrick Henry, Ezekiel Elliot, Nick Chubb, AJ Dillon, Jonathan Taylor, those types of players. Standard scoring also puts a greater emphasis on WRs that get chunk yards, catch TDs and get a lot of volume, so shifty slot receivers or RBs that catch passes out of the backfield are less desirable. You want someone that gets yards and gets the ball thrown to a lot. Your RBs and WRs are gonna be your workhorses in your league and where (typically) most of your points will come from, so draft some consistent production guys early and try to take at least 1-2 RBs and 1-2 WRs before looking at other positions. TE position is very boom/bust and quality thins out SIGNIFICANTLY once Kelce and Waller are off the board, although teams that play a lot of TEs in sets might give you a couple of sneaky good options beyond that. Prioritize WRs and RBs, if a top guy is there after that, grab him. Otherwise you can wait until the back end of the draft to grab a TE. QB you can typically wait until later rounds 5-7 to grab one, although watch the action in the draft room. If a run starts on them earlier you might want to grab one earlier. Most guys in the upper tiers give you decently good floors, and if a QB has rushing skills and takes goal line carries that has surprising value in FF. Even bad teams with meh QBs can give you good production (Blake Bortles was a great fantasy QB because of garbage time). Defense/Special Teams is very streaky, unless you have a team where you know their defense is just owning the ***** out of everything (see Patriots, 2019). Note that very few of these defenses exist so the good ones will come off the board quickly once people fill in the regular roster spots. My personal favorite strategy is to stream a different defense every week and just find the team in the league with a really putrid offense (prolly the Texans, Jags or Bears this year) and just play whatever defense is playing that team this week. It has worked very well for me but it requires management and foresight to rotate defenses out. Kickers you can take at the back end of the draft after you've filled your main spots, your bench and just about everything else. Just look for someone consistent if you want to set it and forget it. I personally like to stream kickers or find teams that historically have kicked the most field goals and go from there. -

Is your league PPR or standard scoring? That affects drafting SIGNIFICANTLY. -
Two TE's on the active roster? No Jacob Hollister? 8 WRs? This list is sus.

Buffalo Bills could be among least covid-19 vaccinated teams
uninja replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm annoyed, I wish the players would just get the vaccine and stop talking about this. I'm just going to shove my fingers in my ears, cover my eyes and yell 'football' over and over until the season is done. -
Definitely agree, most soft tissue shoulder injuries for receivers are not season ending. Worst case scenario he's a midseason elevation from IR.
