  1. FUNNY, I have little to no reason to be confident about this game and I find that normally my gut is correct. I 100% guarantee Buffalo will win tonight and get back on track. Just my gut feeling.
  2. Yes, Josh had a bad game. His completion percentage was crap and he was rushing his throws. Also had a ton of very smart 'throwaways' which doesn't help his numbers. However, I'd like to argue that using a system that rates QB's based on numbers is a crap system. I like to use the eye test and the 6 turnover game (5 picks, 1 fumble) that took Nathan Peterman all of 2 quarters of football to turn in was perhaps just a 'WEE' bit worse than Josh's game vs Houston last Sunday.
  3. it's a rebuild year and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to come to that realization sooner than later. Also, Allen needs better coaching, better players around him, and a smarter brain that can process defenses quicker. Fingers crossed!!
  4. Josh is a great athlete with a cannon arm but he is dumb. Can not read a defense pre or post snap. And has a horrible deep ball. His flaws can not be covered up by our subpar receivers any longer. If we surround him with better players, we can make a run though!!
  5. it depends on if Josh is really as stupid as some posters say he is. If he can't learn to read defenses pre snap and put more air under his long balls, he will go down as one of the most overrated players in the history of the NFL!
  6. my turds generate more separation while falling from my butthole into the toilet water than a Buffalo Bill wide receiver has generated in any one snap this season. Time to regroup, refocus, and mount up!!!
  7. Did anyone notice how several players on the sidelines appeared to grimace and hunch over a lot? My theory is that they all ate a big steamy pot of chili before the game at Josh's house and they didn't give their tummies enough time to settle before kickoff. This caused them to be sluggish the entire first half and by the time they had stinkied up the bathrooms at halftime, it was far too late to salvage the game. The damage had been done!!
  8. I was too busy chasing my kids around before bed to remember to take my pregame dump. I didn't end up lightening the load until halftime and by then, I knew my mistake had cost the team the football game. I'm sorry my fellow Bills fans!!
  9. we ready to roll!!! let's go Buffaloooooooooo!!! meep meep meep me nasties and away me goes!!!
  10. I mean Josh does ONLY have 13 4th qrt comebacks and 19 game winning drives under his belt. We can do so much better!!
  11. Wow, I remember that old site very well! Fall of 98' was my freshman year at college and I stumbled across the message board and created the handle RocketBills (or something close to that). I remember having many debates with posters, including Marjorie from San Diego, Bob Lamb, and Cable Lady, over Flutie VS RJ. I posted so much more back then than I do now (married, kids, priorities change...) but this has hit me with a wave of nostalgia this afternoon. Thank you for posting and I want you all to know that even though I don't post a lot these days, I still frequent this site often, almost daily, and consider you all friends and family. Go Bills!! John in NC
  12. we can do anything we put our minds to boys!! meep meep meep me creeps, shoo shoo me jags!!!!! Bills 42, Jags 13!!
  13. that's right! Also, does anyone else remember the Jags kept killing us all day with the same 15-20 yard out Trever kept throwing to his receivers, mostly Ridley and Kirk? They kept running the same route and sitting down in just the right spot in our zone (behind the CB and in front of the safety). That one play killed us all day as our pass rush was never able to push Lawrence off his spot.
  14. Absolutely. Just like the facemask penalty that wiped out a Josh TD run in what I believe was the 2nd quarter. It wasn't a 3rd down play but it took a potential 7 points off the board and Buffalo ended up settling for a made fg. I feel like we left a lot out there against the Cardinals and hope we clean those plays up for tonight.
  15. What about the horrible roughing the passer call that benefited the Cardinals in the 1st qtr on a 3rd down play? They went from attempting a field goal to scoring a touchdown. That's a 3 to 7 point swing right there. It works both ways.
  16. meep meep meep me creeps, shoo shoo me buuuuuuuuuuum!!!!! Go Bills!!!!!!!! "Fight on, my men," says Sir Andrew Barton, "I am hurt, but I am not slain; I'll lay me down and bleed a while, And then I'll rise and fight again.
  17. Exactly. The game being played at night takes away the shading on the home side that the stadium design provides for the players.
  18. Exactly. And the most important thing about playing the game at night? No sun beating down on the players!! Yes, it will still be hot and humid, but not nearly as bad as it would be during day light hours.
  19. Great points. Week 1 is not usually a good predictor of how a teams season is going to go. Case in point, 2011 and Fitz is our QB. Week 1 on the road at KC as a big underdog and the Bills win 41-7 in dominating fashion. Enthusiasm for the season goes through the roof. What happened down the stretch? The team that started 5-3 and looked so good early ended up finishing the season a very disappointing 6-11. That same opening week, the Steelers went to Baltimore and got clobbered 35-7. My friend who is huge Steelers fan called me after the game and said the division belongs to Baltimore now. Pittsburg would go on to finish the season with a record of 12-4 and gave up a fluke play in OT to the Tim Tebow led Denver Broncos. All of this to say, win or lose, you can usually take the week one result and flush it. Have fun, take it with a grain of salt, and settle in for a season sure to be filled with highs, lows, and everything in between!
  20. They released a video last year hyping up Gabe Davis and I actually fell for it. I hope this time it works out a little differently lol.
  21. toot toot toot me rum, toot toot me bush!!!!
  22. What is your favorite pizza topping?
  23. My biggest hope at this point would be to stay where they are, take Cooper DeJean, who would be outstanding value there, and then trade our 2nd, 2nd round pick along with a few of our day 3 pics to move back into the 36-45 range and there we take the best receiver on our board remaining.
  24. I don't refuse to see any of that. Sure, Worthy might be a bust. It's certainly possible. But at the very least, let's be real about this. With 4.21 speed if all he does is fly down the field on go routes all season, he will move over a safety and open things up even more for everyone else, including Kelce. furthermore, I absolutely think KC would have gotten their man regardless if we would have declined to trade with them. I just hate that we intentionally agreed to trade with the 3 time winning Super Bowl QB and his Kool-aid head coach, Andy Reid. Look man, I'm not trying to be a jerk or to pick a fight with you. Let's just agree to disagree. I hope I am proven wrong and Beane unleashes an amazing plan that starts to unfold today and Buffalo takes over the AFC for years to come!! I'll do my best and I hope you are right. Maybe Beane has a master plan that is about to unfold and it will shock everyone and set us up for great future success. That is always the hope!
