Josh was 22-34 for 237 yards. 2 passing tds. No picks. 2 sacks for negative 10 yards. Also added another 39 yards on the ground. Total performance of 276 yards and 2 td's with no turnovers. 104.7 rating. Rob was 10-22 for 131 yards. no passing td's. no picks. 6 sacks for negative 34 yards. He added 9 rushing yards on 3 carries. Also lost 1 fumble. Total performance of 140 total yards, no touchdowns, 1 turnover. 64.8 rating. This comparison is one that can be called a huge 'reach'. Might want to go back to the drawing board if this is the position someone wants to take....

Dalton Kincaid- why so underwhelming this season?
Buffalo4Life01 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kincaid had another drop on a contested ball where he had it in his hands and then there was contact made by the cb and he wasn't able to come down with it. He unfortunately did not have a good game. -

haha nor could I! But my point is this. I believe Kincaid had to stop the way that he did and dive back for the ball because he totally misjudged the ball while it was in the air. It was a huge overrun. -

Appreciate your opinion of the play and mine is a little different. I feel like Kincaid completely misjudged the ball in the air and overran it. I love his potential and what we all hope he can be but he really did not have a good game. -
THIS right here is it. By most people's standards Allen played well enough to win last night. Missed some throws, rushed a few plays and wasn't perfect. Also he's one of the biggest if not THE biggest reasons Buffalo had a chance to win the game in the end. Your quote is exactly what is wrong about the current state of this team. If Allen isn't perfect or nearly perfect in the playoffs, and even then sometimes when he is nearly perfect, it's still not good enough to get the win. Mahomes had the fumble/turnover, back to back pointless drives to start the 2nd half, and only led his team down the field for 3 points late in the 4th quarter instead of 7 which would have given the Chiefs a lot of breathing room. He played well enough to win but was by no means perfect. Not even close to perfect. Yet his teammates make huge plays in big moments and they have a 'team' win because of it.

Defense surrendered 32 points. Where do you place most of the blame? Agree 100%. There are so many bozos on this message board today and when the day come that Allen is gone and we fall back into 3 yards and a cloud of dust on offense, maybe they'll realize then how lucky we have it right now to have Allen as our QB.
-
haha You are 100% correct my man. Some of these takes and what if's are beyond comical at this point. The only thing I know we can all agree on is we all want the same thing at the end of the day. I'll never quit hoping for it and I know you won't either!

100% this. If that is the pass Allen decides to make, Shakir then has to absolutely make one guy miss to pick up the first down, maybe 2. He would be destroyed for not throwing the ball past the sticks, that I can guarantee you.
-
It was 100% the correct read on the play. The sky cam shows due to the blitz, Kincaid was breaking wide open as the safety had vacated the area he was running to. Just need the O.line to hold up a fraction of a second more and that's a huge first down.

That was a game defining moment and an opportunity to make the play in the biggest spotlight, something other receivers and tight ends seem to make against our Bills all the time. Just once, it would be nice if we could make that catch. I'm so sick of our boys never being able to make plays that are not simply 'routine' plays. The ball hit him in the hands. You don't think Kelce comes up with that catch for Patrick? SMH
-
Correct. But that drop was HUGE in the moment. Kincaid had 3 chances tonight to make impactful plays. He came up short all 3 times. Not good enough.
-
ohh wow a single play where he misses an open player. You mean like when Mahomes missed Worthy on a simple hitch and go in the 3rd qtr by a good 3 yards? It happens. Some people just don't know how good they have it when it's right in front of their face. SMH Again, a little context goes a long ways. Thank you for expanding upon the one play that bozo pointed out.

Kinda easy to be surgical when you have multiple wide receivers running wide open across the field most of the game due to a bum cb being forced into action and a starting safety out the entire game. Would love to have seen what Allen would have done if McDuffie and Reed were both out all game. Sometimes a little context goes a long ways....

This right here. The online is not receiving enough of the blame this morning and Kincaid had a miserable game last night. He doesn't come though with that early 50/50 ball in the 1st half that would have extended a drive. The next questionable play the spot from the ref wasn't great but he wasn't able to fight through a tackle to get another inch or two to take that decision of the spot out of the refs hands. Then the biggest moment of the game (and yes I know it wasn't an easy play to make) he has the ball in his hands and can't make the catch. He has been a bust so far and looks more and more like a jag unfortunately.

I get that and this is something that has been debated until we are all blue in the face. I still say he made the correct call to attempt the pass to Shakiir who was wide open for a walk in TD until Chris Jones dog walks his man into Allen. Let's say that Allen ends up throwing the shorter/safer pass to Diggs that would have moved the chains but he drops it. We would have crucified Allen for not taking the kill shot. He was in a no win situation there and if we are going to neuter him when the opportunity arises for what is normally a fairly routine TD pass for him, what's the point of having him as our QB in the first place? Let Josh be Josh. He has earned the right to be aggressive when he feels the opportunity is there and I hope he has that same mindset on Sunday. Go Bills!!!! -

Just took a quick peek at The Chiefs message board. Here is a snippet of one fan's post and this really seems to embody what 75% of the fans on that website think about Sunday's game. They are expecting KC to blow us out. The funny thing is, all they dare to bring up is the players they were missing for that game. They don't mention the bevy of key players Buffalo was missing which includes Keon Coleman, Dalton Kincaid, and Spencer Brown. Anyways, here is some content from their board. Enjoy and Go Bills!!!! "Guys, Buffalo beat us last time because Shakir and Cooper owned Conner and Johnson. Having Josh Williams playing good ball, having Watson back and McDuffie being able to play the slot on Shakir is a HUGE difference. Then you talk about adding Omenihu to the pass rush. Then you add Pacheco and Hollywood to the offense. Wanya Morris isn’t lining up at LT this time. Kelce looked ancient in the first matchup and was possessed Saturday… They had NO ANSWER for Xavier Worthy in the first matchup, and you KNOW he will have a chip on his shoulder because of the draft. Buffalo is going to get beat by 2 scores and we will have a chance to blow them out if Pat is sharp out there." "I mean, don’t get me wrong, if we are that strong against the run AND we get a serious boost from having Jaylen back in the lineup.. yeah, that’s grounds for us giving them an ass beating." And here is one poster already looking ahead to playing the Eagles in the Super Bowl: "Anyone know how the Bills defensive scheme compares to the Eagles? If they are dramatically different, we might be seeing a situation where Andy can empty his bag ENTIRELY on Buffalo. Vic Fangio is Philly's DC now and has had success against Mahomes, albeit unable to beat him" -
I would have given the Bills about a 90% chance of marching down the field for a short, game winning FG. Most of the reason Buffalo didn't have success passing the ball is that their game plan was to rely on the running game to bleed the clock and keep the Ravens offense off the field. It almost back fired but it worked out okay. IF they HAD to pass the ball at the end of the game, I think Brady would then open up the playbook and let Josh go win the game. It can be argued that he should have done that from the very beginning but a win is a win. Go Bills!!
