  1. Firing a top 8 coach in the league is absolutely a bad idea. Dorsey was a first year coordinator, who has shown instances of really solid play calling and creativity. Frazier is who I have a greater concern with. His scheme requires REALLY solid execution and timing. It all predicates on a 4 man pass rush that can get to the QB. The top QBs in our conference (Burrow and Mahomes), are able to exploit this style by either getting the ball out quickly (Burrow) or extending plays (Mahomes). We need to take a hard look at the defensive style and see where we can adjust. This team relies on Allen on offense, but let's be clear, I dont know of a harder season for a team in the last decade. Multiple key injuries to their top players, moving home games due to weather, Hamlin's situation. They were gassed in all phases. I think the team comes out next year refreshed, and we see more of what we saw at the beginning of the season.
  2. I’ll be interested to see how Beane handles FA and the draft
  3. What comparable situation has there been to seeing your teammate dead on the field and being brought back to life that has been used as motivation?
  4. Team was outclassed in the trenches. That’s your #1 issue. No solid #2 is your second
  5. Can you blame them after the Hamlin situation? I’d be emotionless too
  6. Not him specifically, his team. Once Miami bought into their hype at 3-0, they decided they had to play Tua after the Bills game to keep pace as the division leader. Then Tua gets a second concussion, and never really recovered
  7. Bills do not take teams lightly. McD has been consistent in getting this team ready week to week. Really comes down to Allen's turnover struggles. Can we keep the ball and get points on the board
  8. I expect Miami to come out really strong in the 1st quarter. Lots of run and play action, try to bully the dline. Will be important to try to get stops early. Let Allen get the offense up by 10 by half, and then force Skylar Thompson to throw against our coverage. If we execute, there is not reason why we dont win this game by double digits. If we turn the ball over, or drops force punts, we may see a closer game then we all want.
  9. Feel bad for Tua - guy has been nothing but nice and mature in his career, and he has been derailed by early season hype and poor medical support. Guy is a decent QB when healthy. I expect the line to move to Bills -15 or HIGHER. Hopefully we win this game and keep injury free as we move to divisional. What we have seen from the Bills over the years - they FEAST on below average QBs. Their defense is great at making QB's play well and make good throws consistently. I expect Skyler to struggle
  10. Thing with Miami, they also had the leverage of a brand new offensively minded head coach and new weapons. I’m not surprised that as the year has gone on, teams are keying in on their offense. Let them run, maybe you give up a big play, but that team struggles to OWN the time of possession and paper cut teams to victory. I predicted 10-7 for Miami at the beginning of the year, looking like I was right on the money
  11. Because I have faith that he could be a serviceable backup with upside. And if he were to get cut, giving him a 2 year deal wouldn’t be the worst thing on the planet. id prefer to have Wilson as the backup with upside compared to Keenum
  12. Bills should bring him in to backup.
  13. Fields isn't nearly the passer Lamar is in the Ravens offense, and we have shown an ability to stop Lamar when needed. Not to mention, the Bears defense is MUCH worse then the Ravens. Any given Sunday.... but I think the Bills win by 14+
  14. Frazier designs his defense to play really really good gap control and rally. Death by a thousand paper cuts. you can say coaches are responsible for tackling technique, and to a degree they do. But this is the NFL, and players are EXPECTED to tackle. If there is a tackling technique problem, that’s on the position coaches. Frazier isn’t developing that Cmon now. Bills have missed tackles, that’s not a Frazier issue. That’s an execution problem from the players.
  15. The lack of tackling was obvious last night - I do wonder if the cold had anything to do with it. With that being said, Frazier's defense is strong when executed correctly. Look at Miami's two big plays yesterday: 1) Mostert breaks 4-5 tackles to turn a 4 yard gain to 60+ 2) Clear miscoverage by the secondary on Waddle's touchdown. The secondary was talking to one another, so they knew the coverage needed, but simply didnt execute. Those two plays are 130 yards for the Dolphins. The team NEEDS to execute better
  16. Tre had an off and on day yesterday. Here's my suggestion with White - Keep a safety over the top on his half of the field. He doesnt have that extra gear right now, he was beat over top by both Waddle and Hill yesterday. However, he was very strong at playing short routes and zone. I expect him to continue to improve, and most teams do not run out Waddle and Hill. So I'm hopeful he will be an impact player come playoff time.
  17. Dolphins this year are our Patriots of last year. lost the first game in tough conditions win the second game close where the other team played hard the thing about playing teams three times, the better team tends to come out ahead. The bills are the better team. If we play them in the playoffs, I expect we win by a larger margin
  18. Snow slowing Tyreek from deep routes will help immensely. josh and his legs need to be a factor
  19. Jets season is coming back to reality.
  20. You can tell white knows how important the opportunity is. Guy is taking pressure and stepping INTO it to try and complete balls. His body is going to hurt tomorrow
  21. As hard of a clean hit as you can do midsection, where White is stepping up into it… just devastating
  22. White played 61% of snaps, and I saw him maybe twice all game? Guy is getting back to his old form
  23. I don’t understand why Travis Kelce isn’t in the running for MVP. He’s on pace for 1400 yards and 17 tds. I honestly think he is the most impactful player this year.
  24. Allen is injured, clearly missing throws because of his injury, but plays each week because he is a dawg. That’s not shown in the data. Poyer is playing each week with a bum arm, because he is a dawg. Missing 2-3 games this season instead of 6-8 like he should. Davis has dealt with Ankle issues this season, but is toughing it out because he is a dawg edmunds has been dealing with stuff. Milano has been dealing with stuff. Phillips, Oliver Rousseau etc If guys sat each time they were hurt, we would be closer to 110 games honestly. But guys know we need wins, so they are playing hurt to try to push results
  25. Allen misses a slot receiver that he trusts on third down and option routes. We hope Shakir can be that guy, but damn Allen just feels he has to push the ball downfield, or he has to go to the RBs
