Conor Orr (from Si.com) and his prediction: Bills at 9-8 🤔
FLFan replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because he is a notorious Dolphins fan and troll, and has been for years under different monikers. I am sick of his act. That’s why. -

Don’t bother with your “official prediction.” Literally no one cares. -
Connor McGovern Injury ????????????????
FLFan replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, he was very briefly well behaved at first on his return, but predictably he is ramping up to full out obnoxious regular season form. -
Are the Dolphins obviously better than the Bills?
FLFan replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes our resident Dolphins fan troll is back and can hardly contain himself. -
Nuggets of Infor From Bills Practice 8/22
FLFan replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is such a weak take. There is absolutely no evidence to support any of this. All in your head apparently. -
Isabella shows moves, will he make the roster?
FLFan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not a chance. Completely different skill set for one. -
All-Pro DT Chris Jones not at Chiefs Mandatory Minicamp

Who are these idiots who are actually donating money? -
Saleh is not a leader and not much of a head coach in my opinion. My bet is that at some point this year that will show itself and the Jets will end up badly underperforming to the mighty expectations being set for them.

So now we have to just make up stuff to be concerned about? How long until opening day? Can’t come soon enough.

Preseason Week 2 - Bills Vs. Steelers, what do you hope to see?
FLFan replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why? I do not need to see that until game 1. If he plays at all, and this goes for Allen, Cook, and Diggs and Davis as well, I hope it is only for a series. I certainly do not want to see any formations and plays they might want to run against the Jets. -
Rogers is joining a team a team that lost it last 6, 7 of its last 8, 8 of its last 10. In other words, a suspect team with suspect coaching. The Jets are no lock for the playoffs. Rogers is no lock to be better than his mediocre performance last year. I think the Jets are a 9 and 8 team at best.

Jets sense frustration from Aaron Rodgers after spotty practice
FLFan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I find this quote from Davis interesting in that it points to just how much Rogers, and not the coaches, is the focus. I think we all realize that Hackett is just a functionary serving Rogers’ needs, but I think Saleh could also lose control of this team, if he currently has any. Saleh has not been a strong leader in my view and the Rogers cult of personality could well derail the Jets when Rogers inevitably becomes frustrated. Something to watch. -
Bills release first official depth chart of 2023
FLFan replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think both Settle and Bates placement on the initial Depth Chart is simply deference being paid to the veteran Bills players and a message that those spots will need to be earned. I fully expect Ford and Torrence to be occupying the started spots in week 1. -
Or it just may be that he understands more than you about how to build an NFL team, as shocking as that concept might be to you.

Whatever you say I guess, but not how I saw it. It was a tough catch to make. Could it have been made? Sure, but it is hardly cause for the endless hand wringing around here about Shakir’s so called ball dropping tendencies. I particularly like the conclusions being based on his “10% drop rate” which anyone should be able to understand is meaningless on a statistically insignificant sample size like 20 targets. As for the camp critiques based on twitter reports of other people without context, I find those just about as meaningless. All that is really saying it far too early to write him off.
-
He is talking about the play in the playoff game. I think we all saw that.

Cold hard facts and logic will get you nowhere in changing this narrative around here.

Actually they did not pick him with the intention of playing him at MLB this year. Beane said at the time they were going to start him at WLB. It seems they felt comfortable enough at MLB with the other options to decide not to rush this kid who, while talented, played at a small school and is making a big jump in class. Fans seemed to be stuck on Williams being drafted to replace Edmunds but Beane never said that. In fact he said the opposite.

Payton is a self aggrandizing clown, but that does not make him wrong.

What Would Happen if the Bills Cut Damar Hamlin? (Dan Patrick)

Yeah, but cousin Bobby is a POS. -
What Would Happen if the Bills Cut Damar Hamlin? (Dan Patrick)
FLFan replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think at this point in their careers Hamlin is the better player, all things being equal. However, Hamlin is going to have a struggle mentally to ramp up to full contact and there is no guarantee that he will be able to play at his best initially, or maybe ever. I am rooting for him, but there would certainly be no shame in it if he could not get back. In any event, I do not expect any separation from the Bills to be contentious, not that the media would not try to make it so. -
Well this is a major improvement. It seems I watched every player the Bills played in the slot last year from Crowder to Beasley fail to do this very basic thing. Cost Allen several interceptions.

Eli Apple signs with Miami; Ramsey Replacement
FLFan replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Replaced one obnoxious loudmouth with another. At least Ramsey has some talent to back his up on occasion. -
McDaniel is an arrogant tool, and totally responsible for their Tua related issues, given that if had he done the right thing to begin with, they probably could have avoided the worst of it. Additionally, their offense regressed dramatically under Tua after his return from the concussions. McDaniel is no genius, and a poor leader IMO.
