Slot Recievers - McKenzie / Cole
JakeFrommStateFarm replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like McD is hopeful but no firm commitment that Beasley will abide by the non vaccinated NFL protocols. "I just hope we continue to move forward in that direction just for the greater good of society and the greater good of our team,” McDermott said. “But again, have to respect everyone’s position either to get vaccinated or not to get vaccinated.” -
Slot Recievers - McKenzie / Cole

Cole may be cut because of his refusal to abide by non vaccinated covid protocols. If he submits to the protocols he will be on the team. If not we have to move forward with the players we have. -
Bills are clearly the 2021 favorite, but the gap is closing faster than many may think. - Tua will be improved this year and the Dolphins had a great draft. Tua has to be solid not great in that he's surrounded by talent - Jets will be better with Wilson and Gase is gone - Once Jones takes over don't be surprised if the Pats go on a late season run Also keep in mind that by 2024 Josh will have signed his 200M deal and the Bills could have to let alot of FA go. So there will be a significant attrition of talent

Hard Knocks 2021: Dallas Cowboys

I'd love to see the Bills do this. Let's get this team some much needed press. It's not any detriment to the team since it only covers training camp -

I just saw DK Metcalf in a Nestle Quik commercial....

Let me see if I can help in this discussion. To get a national commercial you have to be a handsome man. Baker is a handsome man with a hot wife. Baker has not accomplished anything more than Josh football wise. Mahommes is a handsome man. Rodgers is a handsome man. Josh ? Well not so much. I'm very sorry. I hope this helps. It's all about marketing and getting someone good looking to sell your product. -
@YoloinOhio yes a tax hike will be required. Why did you delete your post ? So doing the math, a new domed stadium will cost around 2-3 billion. If PSLs can only get 200M-300M, where is the rest of the money coming from ? I'll tell you. The taxpayers. Pegula will not put much of his money up. He will try to shake down the tax payers of Buffalo. I hope the taxpayers vote no and force the billionaire to pay for his own stadium. In no way should tax payers pay for a billionaires stadium. If I go to see a movie should I help pay for the movie theater?

Carl Nassib Announces He is Gay

I wonder if there are any Bills players who are gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that -
I would definitely go dome which will put the cost of the stadium at 2-3 billion. Retractable roof will be too expensive. Also PSL's will not be enough to cover the cost as you will only get 200m-300m from them. Most of the cost will come from tax hikes to the citizens of Buffalo. Keep in mind that people have to vote yes to tax hikes and many will not. I have followed closely the funding of the Chargers and Falcons stadiums. In both cases, tax hikes were voted down and the owners threatened to move the team. In Chargers case the team was moved because of repeated no votes to tax hikes. The City of Atlanta and the county eventually voted for tax hikes but only to the rental car and hotel and motel tax. This was sold as out of towners paying the tax not the locals. This works because the Atlanta airport is a major international hub with over a 100 million travelers per year. If citizens of Buffalo vote down the tax hike watch Pegula threaten to move the team as leverage. It's going to get interesting folks.
