Great win. I was very nervous about this game so I stayed off the forum. The importance of the win is that it meets our goal of winning a playoff game. A loss would have set the program back but not now, this team has progressed. Not that we are satisfied, or we think they are done either. They can play better and they are home again next week. I don’t care who we play next. Worrying about that is not productive. Think we saw that the Colts give us all we could handle and many of the posters here considered them our best match up. All the games are hard. For the first time since the bye week we did not cruise to a victory. Yes, we need to be better running and stopping the run. I just think we grew as a team and we will crank it up another notch next week.

I don’t agree. For starters Reed played slot quite a bit. Beebe was the deep threat. Ballard was a RT, Dawkins is a LT so maybe he is Wolford. Knox is more like McKellar than Metzellars. Bass is a kicker, Kelso a FS. Comparing different eras is pointless.

Chargers have Herbert and great weather - is Daboll a California guy? West Coast is far from his roots. Jax as a city, has really nothing to offer over Buffalo, but with the #1 pick, the HC job might be compelling. Houston has Deshawn Watson and a huge market.

They played way better than I expected. McD was perfect on his secretive line up, he kept most of us guessing. Allen’s’ last TD drive of the first half, in 44 seconds, was a killer. Most of us expected to see Barclay at that point. To see our backups come in and play like that against a team fighting for a playoff spot is amazing.

Daboll is calling plays like Allen is still playing. That was terrible. Just run it keep it short, burn clock and kick 3. 3 points make it 4 score game and essentially would close it out. Stop putting Barclay into 3rd and long and going deep.
