I’d say it was for his number of rushing yards but he got -3 of those.

When we fail in the playoffs again this season, McDermott will scapegoat Dorsey and hire a DC from outside. When we fail again the next season, McDermott will get fired and we will replace him with some other defensive coach. Beane will go too.

Beane loves Spencer Brown. He shouldn’t but he does. He has made every excuse in the book for him, from injuries to not playing 3 years ago because of COVID. People shouldn’t expect Beane to get anything besides nominal competition for him. Brown will be our starting RT, and we won’t draft OL until round 3 at the earliest because he doesn’t value it. I really hope I’m wrong.

I agree on Right Tackle, but unfortunately I don't think Beane does. He loves Brown too much for him to consider it a major need.

He won't be back in 2024. Still McDummy's defense, but at least Frazier is out. Great news -

Complete malpractice. This regime will be gone soon if they don’t start devoting some resources to offense.

If Allen isn’t protected, the season is over before it started because we will not go anywhere past another blowout in the playoffs. And no, replacing Saffold with a new starter but bringing back Dawkins, Morse, Bates, and Brown and hoping for “improvement” is not acceptable.

Giving the DC job to a guy who can't even coach his position group seems like a terrible idea. But he's a McDermott friend from Carolina so it would be on brand.
