  1. They’ve been rotating players on the DL a lot less this year. Part of that is depth
  2. Kincaid is going to be a force in this at the TE for years to come. Draft a R1 receiver next year to (hopefully) take over from Diggs at the end of his contract!
  3. Could this be a union thing? The NFL has decided to not take action and given the fact that the accuser recanted her statement, could taking any action now open the door for liability? 4. I’m guessing these international games have big financial gains because other than the tit doesn’t seem to add very much. The games are never good, it complicated players and coaches lives - potentially puts players at risk, and most fans hate it. I also don’t think it significantly spreads worldwide awareness. International fans already have access to all types of American broadcasts. If they wanted to follow NFL they already would. It just seems like soccer is always going to be the most popular sport worldwide
  5. How quickly things change in the NFL. I remember after beating the Bills in the famous wind game where NE passed 2 times. Belichick was being lauded as a genius and Mac was going to lead NE to the Super Bowl against Tom Brady and Tampa Bay. In defense of Mac, I think had he gone to San Fran instead of Trey Lance, he could have been Brock Purdy. Now he’s too damaged
  6. Again, if this is the only evidence I think it’s a bit of stretch. We have no clue whether McDermott was higher on Boogie than the rest of scouting. We have no idea who influenced the selection of which picks. I’ll agree with you, that overall the draft has missed out on drafting those very high-end prospects. The guy who said he hit singles and not home runs is correct. This is fake news… McDermott was 6-1 in one score games last season. He was also good in 2019.
  7. It is a cop out to put it all on coaching. For a variety of reasons some player’s games don’t transcend to the professional game. There’s always high draft picks that don’t work with a variety of teams and coaches. I will agree that sometimes the landing spot helps determine the trajectory of a player’s success and that includes coaching. But by your definition, Boogie Basham should have been a star with the Giants. He’s the same player. It’s on Boogie…not coaching.
  8. I never liked the Boogie Basham draft pick and I’ll always say that missing really hurt the team. Not only the players they could have drafted but the fact that his lack of developed made the signing of a Von Miller that much more of a priority. If you want to argue that the Bills have spent higher picks on defensive players and that they’ve missed on hitting home runs that’s fine. But to imply that the bad players were McDermott picks is just scapegoating
  9. I love the positivity Alph 👍🏻
  10. So what’s the difference between a McDermott pick and a Beane pick? it’s obviously that your take is intellectually dishonest and biased. It reminds me when Whaley apologists would says “he only drafted players for Rex Ryan.” Ok…if that’s the case, he drafted players that were completely busts regardless
  11. I love how because McDermott is an unpopular figure around here, everything that’s gone wrong is his fault 🤣🤣😂 How do you know that it was McDermott who insisted on making these picks? How do you know it wasn’t Beane who insisted on defense?
  12. I see a lot of people dismissing your thread, but this is largely spot on. Chris Simms biggest criticism of the Bills offense was that it was Allen to Diggs or nothing. That was certainly the case last season and it’s been the case for most of the year until recently. Throughout the course of the season, it seems like someone always let the team down when the needed a big play. If it wasn’t Allen or Diggs, no one really stepped up.
  13. To be fair, Albright said the HC position would be “evaluated.” Seems like every position is evaluated after the season.
  14. Dawson Know is about the become the highest paid TE2 in the NFL.
  15. It’s a good way to look at it.
  16. Grow up? Maybe try to not use a cringe word like “Billsy.” It’s beyond ridiculous. Don’t do it
  17. Billsy - ugh…such a cringe term Send a “big blitz” on defense
  18. Yeah I feel threatened and will report Mr. Arnold
  19. This is a pretty terrible idea.
  20. And they will… the Bills and the NFL will not rush and will spend time investigating with local authorities in Texas before making a decision.
  21. I mean, clearly you do…. Maybe you’re right…we don’t know for sure. I’m actually going to wait for more details and information before I start judging people.
  22. The problem with the reaction to this case is people have made up their minds with such limited information. First everyone assumed the allegations in the police report were 100% true - this is not always the case. Then when his girlfriend publicly denied the claims in the report, people automatically assumed she changed her story out of fear. None of us has the knowledge or information to make a decision either way, yet so many have made their minds up. A sad commentary on the knee jerk reactions these days Even though the victim denied the documentation? People just will believe anything to suit their narrative
  23. Quentin Jefferson as DL has about as much impact as Justin Jefferson at DL
  24. Different situation… Mario Williams was very good for 2 seasons and played at an All-Pro level in 2014. The Bills did overpay to get him in Buffalo but he played well. Things went downhill after when Rex took over. It wasn’t just the scheme change he fell off a cliff and was out of the league two years later.
