  1. They might have tried him at ST but he didn’t play there during the preseason
  2. If it was between Johnson and Obada, the Bills made the right call. Obada dominated in the preseason and while he doesn’t play Special Teams, I think what brings as a pass rusher is greater than that what Johnson brings on ST. Of course, I would rather keep Johnson over Addison but I don’t think this was option
  3. Why? There’s a good chance his civil case isn’t resolved in 2021. Then there’s pending criminal charges and possible RICO charges. Even in the best case scenario and everything is settled, he still faces punishment from the NFL and there’s a chance he doesn’t play until 2023.
  4. Message board insiders….here’s a note from Peter King, one of the most well-connected journalists in the NFL: • I would far, far, far rather risk losing out on Watson than trade for him now, with so much unknown, and with the future being dangerously murky. With all that being said, desperate teams do desperate things. I doubt anything happens with Watson, but then again I’m not inside the walls of the Dolphins, Eagles, Panthers or Broncos either.
  5. I tend to agree…why else would Miami have moved on from him after one season after making such a big investment? It’s not like they received a ton in return. Also how bad could he have performed in the preseason to be cut from a roster like Houston’s? Not sure if it’s injuries or attitude, but I don’t think NYJ is getting the Shaq Lawson who played well for the Bills in 2020.
  6. He also was signed to very reasonable deal and could help one area where the Bills struggled last season. If the team is trying to win a Super Bowl this season trading Obada for a 6th round pick makes little sense They should just cut Mario then
  7. Interesting to note that the reporter said he “struggled” in the preseason. My guess is that he’s underperformed since leaving Buffalo. There has to be a reason why Miami signed him to a big deal and traded him for little return one season later. Now Houston traded him for less in return after a months.
  8. Obada looks to be an awesome player. I wouldn’t trade him
  9. Jury is still out on this one, but I don’t think Star Loutuleili suddenly makes Tremaine Edmunds a top notch LB. I see the Bills defensive line continue to give up yardage in the middle of the line
  10. Taking the politics out of the situation, the bottom line is that unvaccinated puts teams at a disadvantage. That’s just a fact and what the NFL and NFLPA agreed upon. Players don’t have to like it, but that’s how it is and everyone knows it. If you train you’re whole life to make it to a Super Bowl why not give yourself every advantage?
  11. It’s the old “it can’t get worse than _______” argument….Yes it certainly can!!!!
  12. Joe is normally pretty spot on but I think he missed the mark with Hollister getting released. I can’t see the Bills not having a capable backup for Dawson Knox both from a performance or health standpoint. I definitely don’t feel he’s done anything to gain their unwavering confidence
  13. Levi as CB1is a very scary thought. I think he’s ok at CB2, especially if the pass rush improves
  14. This is a reasonable opinion. There’s a huge emphasis on Oliver, Lotulelei and Edmunds to improve the run defense and I’m not confident on their ability to step it up
  15. Lawson is actually a great fit for the the defensive rotation. But there really isn’t a spot for him, unless you want to cut Mario Addison and I’m not sure that will happen. I’d rather have the DE’s on the Bills roster over Lawson For a mid-first round defensive lineman, you would expect better production especially when it comes to pass rush. The one thing he does really well is set the edge, and I remember him playing great against Lamar Jackson. Still I think DE is the one position group that doesn’t need an upgrade.
  16. Really? What did his dad say about him? It seemed that he was never the same QB after losing in the Super Bowl and I don’t think he ever saw the postseason again as starter.
  17. I was thinking about this the other day - there definitely a lot of similarities. I think that the 2021 Bills team has the best chance to contend for a SB, probably since 1992.
  18. I feel if that was the diagnosis we would probably know by now. While I don’t think it’s severe, I can see McKenzie missing a few games to start the year
  19. If I had to guess, I will predict that the Bills will announce him as “week-to-week” and he will miss between 2-4 weeks. He should be back by week 3 of the season. It’s one of those inside jokes here. My guess is that people did it accidentally and it stuck as a joke
  20. He actually hasn’t been that bad. I thought he played well against Miami in Week 17 last year too. It’s tough to evaluate him though without seeing him in important games
  21. We need to pray that the injuries to Brown and Doyle don’t place them on the IR. If they do, Mr. Hart might be the bee swing tackle week 1 😪
  22. The thing is if Fields doesn’t try to duck down when he’s tackled, Smith hits him in the chest right below the face mask and no penalty is called. I feel that anytime a helmet goes flying in the air after a hit, officials will always throw a flag whether it’s helmet-to-helmet or not.
  23. What kind of return does Addison fetch? A 5th round draft? The Bills are trying to win a Super Bowl this season and are more concerned with that than trying to trade for Day 3 draft pick to take another Jake Fromm next year.
  24. Like I said this happens all the time in sports. Athletes are competitors and want to play as long as they can Tebow made more working for ESPN and he’d be more visible on National TV than as TE3. It’s pretty obvious that he wanted to take advantage of what likely will be his final chance to play pro football.
