  1. Totally agree. I don’t want the Bills to reach. But if the right guy is there I’ve just posed the question why not. Certainly LB and WR need to be considered. But I think if Josh is consistently upright more often …he can find they open guys. Again, if WR or LB are at 27 and the BPA that’s fine. Just RT needs consideration. I’m glad for all the dialogue. First thread I’ve started although I’ve been chiming in on others.
  2. All due respect the NFL doesn’t work like that.
  3. You could very well be right. That’s for the Bills to evaluate. But if they take a RT at 27 they think he’s better and will likely start. And I’d be good with that.
  4. Got ya. Ok I would argue that the RT position has taken an increased value in the current NFL. The Chiefs have handled the OT position better than the Bills have. So that’s my point. I don’t see improving the OL either RT or OG as anything but smart. If that’s in the 2nd I’m fine, just improve it.
  5. Hmm not sure. I’m not saying I’m out on SB at RT. He or another player need to improve that spot. He certainly can run block. Just not sure if with his height inside will work? That’s a solve for our OL coach who is supposed to be a guru. But last year was disappointing with respect to our OL development. Yeah I get you. I wasn’t sure where that was going. Yes the Bills are in fact a SB contender.
  6. I follow you. In fairness to Hollywood KM being injured really takes the comparison out vs the teams. The OL for the Ravens has certainly been above average. I will agree in the right situation Lamar could be solid. He’s also had the benefit of a stout D where 24 points will win most games since his W-L record is impressive.
  7. I’ll take Campbell then at RT in the second. I think my bigger point is not someone to just push SB but to get better at RT. LB and RT first 2 picks.
  8. You make some good points. But while they did not provide him great WR’s the entire O is the RPO set. WR’s seemed to be happy to leave partially because the O is run first but also they don’t see Lamar as an elite thrower.
  9. Outside of LB the Bills greatest need is RT. I’ve been a big SB fan but last year he fell back. BB has mentioned his injury and lack of prep leading into the season. Also blocking in the NFL vs at NI is an adjustment. All that is true but just bringing in a vet to compete isn’t enough. Our QB is Josh Allen let’s continue to improve around him. Harrison from Oklahoma or Jones from Ohio State in the 1st. If SB wins the job great but most likely he become the back up. What do you all think ?
  10. All true. But they created an entire O around him to generate his stats. He will not be good in a traditional O. Good luck to the next OC with him.
  11. All good. You’re right in the sense he got too expensive. We shall see how the Bills fill his spot. It’s the single biggest concern outside of OL improvement.
  12. We don’t have the $ and they like Bates. RT is the next OL move.
  13. Does this mean the Bills have a shot at the 3 back up OL guys that dominated us at home in the playoffs???
  14. Spot on !! I think for the $5m they will want some comp. They will ask for our 2- we give them our 3? Frees up $5 m that can be used for FA LB or OT.
  15. Well each franchise has the right to do stupid things. The Browns seem to be adept at that. Watson to me shouldn’t be able to play this year. His suspension should have been longer. But he has his rights apparently to make a living.I think many NFL fans aren’t too excited about it. Having said that it appears Lamar has miscalculated his worth. And other teams would be foolish to give him a contract offer while being 💯 percent unable to make other FA moves. The Ravens have played this well since Lamar turned down very appropriate offers.
  16. I’m trying to understand this? 😳 I think Josh could be a great announcer! But they are extremely early their NFL careers. Lamar has neither demonstrated a great ability to be a good interview nor expressed an interest in making less than $250 guaranteed over the next 5 years.
  17. Fair enough. We can agree to disagree a bit. Caps are yelling at me!!! 😂 cheers 🍻 and happy St Pats ☘️
  18. The guys an excellent receiver and match up problem. Going to the Pats who have not been able to work the TE’s in seems like a bad fit. As mentioned he’s the ultimate first down/garbage celebration king. Glad he’s no longer on Miami as they are a better team.
  19. Hmm so the Bills who coach in the NFL are not astute enough to put Edmonds in schemes that set him up for success. And, this is based on your evaluation. Ok just want to be clear.
  20. Right but he’s pissed he’s being moved to RT. This impacts his ego and his long term earnings. If traded which I doubt they aren’t sending him to the Bills.
  21. So an explosive WR with great numbers per play and now with a top QB is a waste ? Hmmm we did get a pass blocking OG. And I’m thinking BB will add an OT in some way. BB is an awful drafter ? Well he’s certainly had some hits and misses. But awful is bit of a stretch. Kyle Allen is the QB.
  22. Agee with most of this. But it appears that BB is searching for a short yardage RB. While at the same time improving the pass blocking on the OL. Seems as if he feels a bruising RB will create his own holes more than Motor JA or Moss former bruising back. Not sure if that will actually work 🤷🏻‍♂️
  23. Hines is not a gunner. Taiwan has a very specific ST role especially with the Bills. The Bills will have a 3rd rb get snaps. Either Motor, another FA, or a 5th or 7th round pick.
  24. Consider that BB just brought in a pass blocking OG in FA. While I don’t think the RB’s have been the issue he may since he didn’t bring in a mauler OG. So does he draft the short yardage RB or get cheap via FA? Seems based on that he’s looking not to bring back Motor. Even though I’ve posted above why I really like Motor. And I would like him back. But BB first signing makes me think they won’t. Hope that makes sense 😀 And the Lions have a very good run OL.
  25. Appreciate your thoughts but not sure his YPC is inflated. The amount of poorly blocked plays totally blown up was really high. I suggest he had multiple 2-3 yard gains that were impressive runs. I think the YPC with his volume speaks to what it is. He’s a fairly elusive back with a well above average YPC.
