  1. Good move by Boys. He’s still solid CB in this league.
  2. Nice try! JA was from the same draft class. I think an argument could have been made when JA signed his deal, they were both in the same range for a contract. Since, JA used an agent and signed his first big deal- now looking like a Bills bargain. He believed this is the right place for him. LJ, no agent, somewhat inconsistent with a few injuries. Apparently not on the same page as the Ravens. A team well respected in the game. Who built an O around him. He has rewarded them by not signing what appears to have been excellent offers. Although not completely idiotic like the Browns. This is where those who follow the NFL suggest the Ravens are getting it right. Value vs reward. Clearly the Ravens and NFL don’t feel he’s worth it. And it’s speculative that if a team creates a deal for LJ and the Ravens match they are out of luck. That team is then not in a good position for other moves in FA.
  3. Lot of good points. MVP is like a snapshot in time. Is he currently on a trajectory for MVP seasons in the future? A good QB I won’t argue. Essentially it’s about value and I think we agree on it.
  4. What has he proven for a guarantee $133M 3 year deal? He continues to refuse to get an agent even though he brags about this offer he turned down. He wants more than that! His value isn’t worth his ask. And he’s demonstrating a huge self awareness maturity issue. And he’s getting the same result. No contract. For an oft injured 1-3 playoff qb that has to have an O created around his skill set. He’s a good qb (8-12) but many going back to his draft year aren’t convinced he’s a SB qb.
  5. Well actually not true. Reid has been outstanding in OL evaluation. Your point that he’s not good at it uses the SB loss to TB. Where both OT’s were injured and they had to play back ups. Lucky on Creed ? Well others teams were not smart enough to be lucky? PFF if paid by agents seems to have some flaws along with what is the player’s assignment. PFF has some value but it has some flaws as well. I’ll take SB winning Reid as a better talent evaluator on this one.
  6. And there it is. It’s too late to fix this year 🤷🏻‍♂️So fire all staff and player vets that are unsigned. Start over. Ok I can see why you think the Bills can’t contend. The multi year approach starts next year ?? Since it’s too late ?
  7. Ok sure. I am of the opinion that once FA settles and the draft is done, the Bills will continue to contend. But what is your point ? What specifically do you want the Bills to do? They have a plan that you clearly don’t like. The dufus coach and the other things you provided here seem all over the place. You’re the GM. Someone came back and gave specifics on where KC has been better building the OL. BB has not been great building the OL. That’s a fair assessment. Great you take the field, I’ll take the Bills. Anything else you have to offer ?
  8. Good points on Creed. I’m all about an OT in the 1st or 2nd!
  9. Well the Cowboys blog says they would have liked to keep him as he was solid. But not at that price. The track record is not perfect but certainly not awful. Dawkins and Morse come to mind. I think they will draft an OT fairly early based on this to complete with SB at RT. You don’t like the move. Ok got ya. Your recommendation?
  10. Fair point. Risner was on the radar as well as Powers. Powers was bit pricey and Risner while more proven also may have been too $$$. It’s certainly a bit of risk. Maybe this year our OL guru will develop these guys 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. Right and are you suggesting they were not good signings? It’s the BB approach to sign players young on the upswing? And your sure it won’t work because why ???
  12. He’s started 15 games in the NFL and grades out well, particularly in pass protection. This is a typical BB move. Young player (25) with best play ahead of him. See Hyde and Poyer. Seems to be very strong move.
  13. What are you taking about ? Yes the Bills have a plan. You don’t agree with the plan apparently. What specifically don’t you like about BB’s plan about 3 hrs into non tampering FA? The fact he signed a young good pass blocking OG with flexibility? Ok I’m going to give a few days before I attack or support where the Bills are at. You’re convinced the Bills won’t compete for the AFC. You could be right but Vegas and others may disagree. I’ll grant you the AFC is going to be a challenge. But I’m confident the Bills will be in the mix.
  14. Good for him. Not real impressed with his SM stuff. Go play for the Bills rival. Just stop telling the world about it. At $10 m Bills need to pass on this deal.
  15. Wow all over the place. Pretty funny stuff. No plan is my favorite.
  16. PFF has its position on rankings. So do others. He’s a good player but we heard for 4 years how Phins DB’s are the best. JR is a good addition, he’s a me guy on his 3rd team. Phins fans rejoice. I don’t think it’s massive game changer. Right ? Injuries.. Trey is one year removed from his, Von will be back mid year. We don’t know who we are losing or adding. Let’s let that evoke just a bit before proclamations about the AFC east.
  17. According to what data? He plays aggressively and gets burned a fair amount. He’s a good corner but certainly “shut down”.. no corners are.
  18. The Dolphins played a QB who should not have been on the field. They had a poor second half of the year to be kind. For some reason the coach is viewed as some kind of genius. Appears to be cocky, immature and bit quirky to me. I do think the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins will all be in the playoff mix. Enough with McDaniel the genius until he wins a playoff game.
  19. The Bills are a contender again for the SB this year. I think in the whole this board is aware of the AFC East getting stronger. Not many underestimating. Yes the loss to the Bengals was surprising more in the lack of energy the Bills gave. Injuries happen and the circumstances of the year took its toll. I will say that the pressure is deservingly high on McBeane. Will it be a tough year, absolutely. But I would not assume the Bills are not going to be very much in the mix. Years ago a contending team would bring unreal excitement. The negativity seems a bit over the top imho.
  20. You win the right to be right? I’m fine with you winning actually in that I’d like to see the Bills make some moves 👍.. the article from CBS definitely says it’s done deal.
  21. Yes we get your CBS take. But it hasn’t happened yet. If it happens then the Bills will take a plan forward on FA. It’s possible they don’t restructure both JA and VM. So it’s currently not a fact.
  22. Yes that has been speculated. But hard to make any moves until it’s all done. I expect BB to improve the team and with the cap.
  23. Well since FA hasn’t started.. seems like BB will improve the Bills. We have holes at every position ? That’s a lot of holes. Certainly some areas to address. But Dolphins are the favorites already is a bit early.
  24. Hmm I’ve only seen about $7 m In restructuring so far. JA and VM only speculation at this time. But if they do those then yes about $22-24m available. Enough to get a G, re sign Poyer, and grab a WR like Paris Campbell. And depending on Motor a RB.
  25. That’s a good place to have the best player.
