  1. This is a bizarre thread.
  2. No need to be dirty. I'd just like to see some legal and clean hits during play.
  3. I was going to respond wih similar points and you bet me to it. While I don't think LA is in the cards, I think everything else is true.
  4. They would have gone to Hamilton or Seattle without him stepping up. I know for a fact that Paul Allen was interested in buying and moving them.
  5. People didn't like how he ran the Sabres but they had some good years while he was owner. If we didn't lose all our defenseman against Carolina, we would have won the Cup. I'm convinced we would have. That would have been a good legacy.
  6. I think the Bills would win. I think the other top teams from that era (Dallas, SF) would also win. Those teams were far more loaded with talent since free agency hadn't taken effect at that point. The Bills of that era would have been disolved by free agency during the Super Bowl run. But we were able to maintain a solid core. The more I think about it, it wouldn't be close.
  7. See you in 2 weeks
  8. Wow this turned into a real snore fest. How did the Niners kill us so badly?
  9. Seahawks look pretty good. We will have our hands full in Toronto.
  10. Maybe not next year, but sometime within the next year either Bieber or Gaga will be the performer and the world will end.
  11. The only rock act that I can think of that is big enough right now would be Foo Fighters. Which would be awesome.
  12. I'd move KC to top tier. Otherwise this list is sound.
  13. That was an awesome tailgate. Bills fans do it right. Poncho Billa and Pinto Kenny made the scene. We have some pretty unique fans. I look forward to another party in future seasons!
  14. Yeah the Niner fans I met were all cool and respectful. I've had bad experiences in the past, but yesterday was good. It is a lot easier when your team is hot. I saw no problems or fighting.
  15. I met a lot of good people at the game yesterday. It reinforces my belief that we really do have the best fans in the league. Despite the disaster on the field, it was fun to talk to Buffalo fans from all over. We deserve better than that.
  16. Donte was on the radio this morning out here in the Bay Area. The gist of what he said is that management (not coaching) was the problem in Buffalo. They don't value the players really or seem to care about them. Out here, managemwent interacts with the players and seem to get involved on a more personal level. It is more of a "family" type atmosphere and players feel better about going out and playing. He said it was hard to motivate because of the situation in Buffalo. He didn't really bad mouth coaches or players.
  17. They fly all over the city. The actual show is primarily over the waterfront on Saturday and Sunday. Head over to the Northstar at some point this weekend and you will likely see me.
  18. I'll be there with the Northstar crowd
  19. I think 2-4. that is with a win this weekend and a win against Tenn.
  20. Check ou the bars in the new Laffayette Hotel
  21. I've seen so much bad behavior from fans at opposing stadiums, I can't point to any particular group as being worse than any other. I've seen Bills fans in OP being total jerks. I guess the most respectful group I've ever seen was in Seattle. I never heard one comment the whole time I was there. In fact, the fans around us were about as cool as can be.
  22. I was just thinking about his age earlier today. He doesn't have the wear and tear, but you still lose it with age. That said I dont think we will see dramatic reduction this year and I think he has a few good years ahead.
