No surprise at all after the Marlins debacle. What are the taxpayers of Miami-Dade on the hook for with the new stadium? 1.2 billion if not more? It will be a fun 20 years in that white elephant of a stadium with crowds of 500 people. Loria ruined it for all the other fat cats.

Crud- instead of playing a tough team like that outside in December to our advantage, we play them in a venue that is similar to their home- indoors and quiet.

I've always worn a Bills hat to games away. I've Ben to San Francisco, Seattle, Oakland and San Diego and never had a problem. I got more comments at a home game on Monday night against Dallas. That was a brutal night- lots of Dallas fans in Buffalo and fights all over.

I love it. People that can't take it need to lighten up. This has brought on plenty of Buffalo bashing on the boards. Who cares? When you give it, you gotta be able to take it too.

Sabres- I thought we were turning the corner 2 years ago when Pegula came on board. We had some good young talent in place, great goaltending and we made what seemed like some good free agent picks ups for some top money- the like of which the Sabres don't typically spend. Pegula has the deep pockets to make it happen. Yet, now we are starting over with a new coach, management (geez- this sounds like the Bills) and on the verge of a firesale. I had high hopes for Sabres. The big difference is the much more stable ownership with Pegula. On the plus side, the Sabres can make a quicker turnaround, I believe.

If it were one of our players, I could just see the headline- "NFL Player Comes Out of the Closet and Tearfully Admits He Is A Buffalo Bill".

That Dolphins stadium looks good! Hate to admit I like anything related to that team.

I am sure that many teams were using various things, the Bills included. It's widely known that Mark Kelso gave PCP to everyone before games. By widely known, I mean I just heard that in my head, so I can't substantiate that just yet.

I recall Trestman rejected the Bills many years ago when he was a rising star and didnt even want to interview. I wonder how he would feel now? I think there are plenty of other guys out there that are better candidates.

I was thinking of that parallel recently. Spiller is no OJ, but he has some good talent. Hopefully, Chan will be gone soon and the next guy will use CJ properly.

I agree with him 100%. The lack of touches with Spiller is astounding. Arguably one of the most dynamic players in the league and he is not used. lets move on quickly.

The Chargers, Raiders or Rams are headed to Los Angeles. The Bills will be staying in the time warp.

He lived not too far from me in OP and directly accross from some good family friends in the neighborhood and they talked pretty fequently and they said that his wife hated the weather in Buffalo. I think they were originally from south Florida. The weather thing was a big deal for her and she was miserable. My buddy said they were also very nice people. So anyway- there is my bit of gossip for the fire.

Chan is a goner. Will it be before season end? Them what? Who in their right mind wants this job? It is career suicide for a young college hotshot coach and the likely candidates that will be brought up would never go for it.
