  1. I echo this. You really have something special in Gase Jets always have perfect game plans: Gase says, based on Buffalo defenses, there are no calls he regrets. No one can mess up his game plan: Adam Gase wouldn’t let Sam Darnold audible on fourth-and-1 Anyone can play WR in his offense: Adam Gase on Jets WR options after injuries: 'Whoever's got a pulse right now' His offense doesn't need to go for 4th: "There’s not a lot of good plays on 4th and 7.” - Adam Gase on why the #Jets didn’t go for it on fourth down. and can score points Steve Young laughs at Adam Gase's decision to kick a useless FG on 4th-and-goal in the 3rd quarter, which pulled the Jets to within 24-6 What a gem!!! I hope Jets are able to extend him before he is stole by other teams. 😄
  2. By Jets forum standard, Jets are actually 2-0 by winning the first game 17-27 and the second game 13-31. Yes, in Jets fans' mind, final scores don't matter and records can be made up. I guess it's about time for their fans to start a petition to extend Gase for 20 years with 100% control of personnel? 😉
  3. The following are what I posted on Monday regarding Darnold's week 2 performance. It's seems like PFF give too much credits for "safer" throw while not helping teams to win: I watched Jets game yesterday since I'm in 49ers' local market and I have to say Darnold was even unimpressed yesterday than that first game. Majority of his completions were short passes and no one (except probably die-hard Jets fans and PFF) would say those are short passes picking apart defense. Many are 5-yard WR out pattern to sideline. Darnold was 21/32 for 179 yards yesterday while 74 yards were from the garbage time with 3:07 left in the game trailing 7-31 and 49ers in prevent D. He was 16/27 (59%) for 105 yards before then. It's really weird that his performance could be considered better. Furthermore:
  4. Only 2 games of stats and opponents matter, but anyway, here are the pass blocking, run blocking, pass rushing and run stopping win rates so far: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29939464/2020-nfl-pass-rushing-run-stopping-blocking-leaderboard-win-rate-rankings Bills are #1 in Team Pass Rush Win Rate at 66% #21 in Team Run Stop Win Rate at 29% #6 in Team Pass Block Win Rate at 67% #30 in Team Run Block Win Rate at 64% Hughes is #2 in DE/OLB Pass Rush Win Rate at 41% Murphy is #5 in DE/OLB Pass Rush Win Rate at 30% Oliver is #10 in DT Pass Rush Win Rate at 18% Morse is #9 in OC Pass Block Win Rate at 96%
  5. I was speechless when saw this play live during broadcast last Sunday:
  6. not sure where to put it but here is the clip of Diggs' touchdown in case you haven't seen it. And was Spain still the LG in this play??

  8. No, this is not about the audible Josh made, which most is aware of and is definitely one of the best takeaways from the play. There are few other things that I also really like in that play: Diggs was run-blocking the only defender could tackle Brown. Brown recognized Diggs' run block and thanked him right after the play. (Josh mentioned that in his post game interview) During the post game press when asked about that play, Josh brought up that his throw wasn't great and Brown "picked it up from the floor". Even though he made the right audible and resulted in a touchdown, he not only doesn't take the credit but also acknowledges what he didn't do well. That what great players do to always look for areas to improve. post game interview (the question about this play starts at 9:24): Also, the touchdown: https://www.buffalobills.com/video/john-brown-s-17-yard-touchdown-reception-from-josh-allen-in-bills-vs-jets
  9. Come on, don't you know Adam Gase is the next Bill Belichick? Just ask Curtis Martin. ? Curtis Martin Compares New York Jets Head Coach Adam Gase to...Bill Belichick
  10. nothing compared to this: New York Jets legend compares Adam Gase to Bill Belichick: 'I think he’s one of those guys'
  11. but.....but.....but...... (someone seems to forget Allen plays in AFCE)
  12. This season still has 16 regular season games so 8-8 is .500. Or do you mean when 17-game season kicks in? But even so, are you sure they can’t be .500 in this case? They could have a tie game in a 17-game season and end up with 8-8-1, which is .500. Or maybe 3 ties, or 5 ties, ...., you get the idea. ?
  13. Do you know who else have similar 2nd year stats too? Tom Brady and Christian Ponder. We all know whether they end up the same in their career. The point? similar past stats doesn't project player development path. Tom Brady: 264/413, 63.9%, 2843 Yds, 18 TD, 12 Int Christian Ponder: 300/483, 62.1%, 2935 Yds, 18 TD, 12 Int
  14. Jefferson lined up at slot in 81% of the time. Furthermore, 110 of his 111 receptions were from slot. Obviously Bills isn't looking for a rookie slot receiver this season. We will know in few years whether Jefferson can develop into a NFL receiver and whether he can play outside at NFL. Drafting him at 22 probably makes sense for Vikings since they still have Thielen, but not as much for Bills consider what Bills already have at WR.
  15. Not exactly. He only selectively copied and pasted tweets fitting his narrative. In the end of his tenure in this site, he only posts tweets praising Rosen and the ones criticizing Allen, and basically ignore any others having different opinions.
