After yesterday who is your WR pick at 28?
Turbo44 replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any of these 4 will do fine and thinking 2-3 will be available when we pick, probably 2 but we only need 1 -
He's growing on me. Returns punts too. A bit worried he wasn't the #1 at texas, but, Cooke wasn't the #1 at UGA either I guess. How did Texas ever lose with him and Mitchell at WR?
-
Don’t overestimate worthy cuz of the 40 / he was the #2 wr at Tex’s. If bills go wr at 28 they’ll get one of Thomas, Mitchell or Franklin which are all great
-
McConkey doesn’t fit what we need. Still like him despite not much in the stat area college wise. I still think we take Franklin or Thomas if either are avail at 28
-
Is Thomas not running a warning flag? Whomever was advising Coleman should have told him do not run at the combine
-
Coleman just dropped to 3rd round Josh Allen is faster
-
A lot of boom/bust with Coleman
-
You take the TD whenever you can get it. It’s cute to think he could have “automatically” got a td anytime if he would Have checked down to Diggs on 2nd down. Who knows Diggs may have dropped the pass anyway. klein was taken off the Kelce coverage in the 2nd half (stupid having him cover him in the first place) Neal did a nice job in coverage on him in the 2nd half. if Allen throws the td to shakir and mahomes goes down and gets a td, I could live with it. It wouldn’t be automatic as we stopped mahomes on his last 2 drives. Do you remember Mahomes being in the same exact situation in the 2022 regular season vs Buffalo and throwing the int to Tauron? cute to revisit history but you take the TD when you can get it and it was 1/10 of a second from being one
-
Pick #28 better be our new #2, Shakir will be great as #3/slot. Big failure by Beane not signing DHOP this year. Instead he wasted a bunch of money on the Poonah fords of the world.

His 2 big mistakes were starting Klein and Jackson over Williams and Elam. Called these mistakes when I saw the starters. When he finally put Williams in the game and covered Kelsey with anybody other than Klein the d got better -

We were one out in the playoffs? Could have sworn we beat Pittsburgh, so we’re we out in game 2?? -

Beane’s biggest failure was not signing a true #2 wr this year. Hopkins could have been had and wasn’t. Instead he threw money at the Poona fords of the world. this offseason: morse and tre will be cut or minimally restructured for salary cap reasons. von and Diggs will be back. For those wanting either cut or traded do your salary cap research. Too big of cap hits to cut or trade. Hyde will be gone, not sure what we do at safety?? draft a fkn legit wr at #28 and hope you nail it. try to resign #56, though he (and honestly Oliver) were MIA tonight -

Show some class dbag. Go on your own website assclown. With your run d, Baltimore might run for 300 yards on you. Big ravens fans here next week. If you didn’t see josh as the best player on the field that shows your lack of football knowledge. -

You get the points when you can get the points. Short memory but we went up by 3 or 4 in kc two years ago with under 2 mins left and Von forced a int to Tauron by mahomes. -
Enjoy rooting for your new team. It’s sucks so bad but their loss is not about me. It’s about them. Sherfield was our #2 wr, that says enough. Klein was our starting lb. Team desperately needs a #1b/2 wr with pick 28. Kinkaid is a stud, Cook is a stud except for dropped passes. We need new safeties but our cbs will be solid.

1/21/24 Division Playoff GAMEDAY Bills vs Chiefs Pregame Thread
Turbo44 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jackson probably over Elam but I don’t think Klein plays over Williams -
Buffalo will beat KC tomorrow and it won’t be particularly close. Buffalo will then beat Baltimore in a closer game
-
Calling it now: Bills are going to at least reach the AFCCG

Alphadawg - for the love of God, please now go on record predicting the Bills will beat KC and it won’t be a close game!! -
Wildcard round - Steelers Bills post game thread

McDermott’s decision to try a 49 yard fg at end of 2q was ill advised. Converting non 4th and 7 was a likelier outcome and if you want to be conservative, punt it to their 10. The game would have been a blowout otherwise I think -
Steelers @ Bills. Monday, January 15th at 4:30pm.
Turbo44 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
So in one week’s time, completely change the system that McD had run for the last 6 years and move a spot corner to safety, something he’s never played. What could go wrong here lol?? -
The only bad matchup for Buffalo is themselves. The only team that beats Buffalo is themselves? Pittsburgh is by no means a bad matchup for Buffalo
-
It'll be interesting who their #2 will be next year? 1st rd draft pick, UFA? Hopkins would have looked really good with this team this year
-
I think that was bad coaching om that drive. It was 3rd and 2 and they tried two passes. If you think you're going for it on 4th, run the ball on 3rd and 2
-
nope but you can give him help via Morse or a RB at times, whih they didn't
-
could be 3 if Baltimore is knocked out by a "Cleveland type" team in 2 weeks. Unlikely but possible
