  1. Think Marquise Goodwin here. Allen can utilize his speed as a weapon. Dorsey will scheme him open. Beane has a plan here. Trust the process fans. I agree. I'd rather have Dhop here than any of those guys the Bills signed as a result. I am in the corner of wanting Dhop. Disappointed Beane chose not to.
  2. Speed wins! I have confidence Beane knows what he's doing. One or more of these guys should produce at a high level. The Bills coaching staff and schemes will help these guys excell. Lastly, Allen can make these guys great! Trust the process. Heck, he can even be a legit WR2 for the team.
  3. He can be the Gabe Davis in the Chiefs playoff game. A deep threat and multiple TD games.
  4. Don't you remember Isabella catching bombs for TDs? Allen would likely have him reach his full potential. I believe the Bills can coach him up. His full potential can be reached with Allen and Dorsey. He was a 2nd rounder for a reason. He's young and full of uncorked potential.
  5. Injuries is it. Bills already lost their elite special teams kick and punt return specialist.
  6. They can be lost in July. Hell yes! Can't wait to see Allen and Diggs hoist that Lombardi. This seems like the year barring no serious injuries.
  7. Great to hear. Keep up the great updates. Appreciate it.
  8. I wasn't advocating keeping Edmunds. He wasn't worth that kind of money. You are really missing the point here. The Bills have a huge void to fill here. There seems to be a big drop up after him. His replacement really needs to improve their game. Sure it's possible. You are mitigating the position imho. That position is the signal caller and the QB of the defense. The middle of the D is important. That's why Edmunds got paid. Good teams will take advantage of this weakness if it exist. The Bills had to make tough decisions. We will see how it plays out.
  9. I didn't say it as an absolute. The fit opinion isn't anything new here. Come on man.
  10. Ok go ahead and make your point that Elam as a first round pick hasn't been disappointing. Back up what you say!
  11. We have a whole season to make judgement. He couldn't bear out Benford, played sparingly, and made some plays here and there. Not exactly productive which is what you want and expect from a 1st round pick. I'm not saying he can't be productive and solid. I'm saying he's has a disappointing first year as a Bill. Not sure how you can't see it this way.
  12. It's a big concern on the defensive side of the ball. The Bills don't seem to have a legit starter at this position as of now.
  13. Elam doesn't look to be a good fit in Buffalo. Certainly, he's been a disappointment as a first round pick.
  14. Do the Bills look like a Super Bowl team? Do they have that swagger? Or is it too early to tell? How is the atmosphere?
  15. I agree. I'd take it a step further too. The Bills roster is good but it has very little elite game changing players. They lack elite players. Also, they have big question marks ib the trenches. Not to mention besides Diggs the WR core looks underwhelming. Lastly, they have a coaching staff that looks good to very good through the regular season and underwhelms come playoff time. So many things have to go right for the Bills this year. Seems like an unlikely to me.
  16. I would take Allen over Hurts all day every day.
  17. I get that train of thought. It certainly is valid. My thinking is you just shouldn't allow a QB all day to throw in that situation. Pressure the QB and jam the WRs isn't a terrible strategy. However, it's not what the Bills do often or excell at. I suspect this is why teams are more successful on their and long. I remember joking with my brother saying I would have have the Bills D in a third and short vs long. The real issue is two fold here. As stated the Bills are not an effective blitzing team. Also, they lack a consistent pass rush even in 3rd and long situations. Both weaknesses are not optimal. It's really a compliment to the coaches that statistically they are a top defense with such deficiencies. I'm certainly hoping McD's D will improve on third and long.
  18. Fraizer's defenses consistently played poorly when the playoffs came around. His defensive scheme just wasn't good for upper tier teams. Yep and most fans will still think McD walks on water. Add on the defense looks to be weaker at the LB position with Edmunds gone and a young unproven replacement.
