  1. Bingo!!!👍 Josh yes but McD a big no.
  2. The line has already moved to -2.5. By kick off the line should be -3.5. I already hammered the Bengals at -2.5.
  3. To be honest, I'm just hoping the Bills can get to the playoffs. There is a real possibility they don't make it at all. If they get there they can be dangerous. This week should tell us if they are contenders or pretenders.
  4. Well the Bills better score points because that defense is going to get shredded by Burrow and company. Mac Jones looked great against that defense. Even Tyrod almost matched down and beat the D. Thank goodness for the refs. Baker almost beat the D with a hail mary. Please convince me on how the Bills d prevents Cinci from scoring under 35 points?
  5. I think the Bills can score on the Bengals. It's not crazy to think they can't score 30 plus.
  6. We will see how it plays out. We disagree on lots here.
  7. I don't think so. I think the Bengals are hitting their best stride. They have weapons on offense and the depleted Bills D just can't match up well. I don't see a realistic path where the Bills D can contain Burrow. The home field is also a very big factor as well. On offense, I was very encouraged very encouraged with what I saw vs Tampa. The versitlity of the offense was eye opening. The use of RPOs and Josh's legs was a welcomed site. However, this really a one game sample against a pass funnel defense. Spencer Brown is still a major concern and don't think Lou A won't take full advantage of that. The Bills pass rush has to be effective. The front four has to get pressure on Burrow. McD has used the blitz to manufacture lots of pressure. That's just a recipe for disaster vs Burrow. Also, the significance of the Cinci run game has to be addressed. With DJones the run D isn't the same. Olivers return is very helpful and Poona even made some plays. Settle and Philips are not dependable. Cinci ran all over the Bills in that playoff game. Frankly, their offense did whatever they wanted. Run or pass pass or run. Pick your poison. The Bills had absolutely no answers . Zero answers zero replies zero ability to slow the offensive of the Bengals. Frankly, I don't see a logical path on how the Bills stop them again. The Bills offense is going to have to score 35 points or more. Allen is going to have to wear his cape and almost be flawless. He will be running for his life because Lou A is dialing up exotic looks and pressures.
  8. You can't make poop smell like ice cream. The McD defense is seriously depleted. This is the week we really see the effects of losing your three stars on defense.
  9. McD and his coaching staff got thoroughly embarrassed in that playoff game. Out coached in every way. Unprepared is an accurate statement. Put aside all the turmoil of the season. What was most bothersome was the Bills game plan. To this day, I have no idea what they were doing? They had a dress rehearsal a few weeks prior which should have prepared them to have an effective game plan. Or a the very least different game plan. Nothing zero zilch... Fast forward to this week and we Bills fans believe this coaching staff will step up? Why would you think that? Please elaborate because I want to hear a logical and realistic response. Add on the team hasn't played well in several games. The defense is a shell of itself. You really think the Bills can stop or contain Burrow and company? I'd recommend you rewatch last year's game for a reference. I just pounded the Bengals at -2.5 for one of my bigger bets I've made. They looked the part. They played well in every phase. They look to be hitting their best stride. They shredded the niner defense. Burrow looked elite, in control, poised, and virtually unstoppable. It was a lot like when they throttled the Bills. To be truthful it's not that simple. He should absolutely have a game which tries to give the Bills the best chance to win. That's all you can ask for. I'm just not seeing how this depleted D can stop the Burrow leD. No if they had a healthy Tre, DJones, Milano, and Von then I'd like their chance. That's just not the case here.
  10. Did you see last year's games vs Cincinnati? The Bills have lost 3 stars and or studs on defense. There are really only a few paths to a Bills victory. Sure it could happen but it sure seems more unlikely than likely. What do you see that's different this year? What makes you think the Bills will win?
  11. Cinci hitting all strides. I don't see a lot of paths on how the Bills win. This is a bad match up for the Bills.
  12. I cannot even comment on this. It sounds like an excuse if I ever heard one. The Chiefs had 2 plays to get into field goal range. The third play was the FG. There is no way that should have happened. Your response/ explanation falls very very very short.
  13. I think this is spot on. I'd add that the offense was way way way better than the last three games. I'm not talking about scoring points here. Of course, that's the bottom line. As you pointed out game script had a lot to do with it. I mean come on just do a basic fan eye ball test. No need to look at stats here. The offense had a swagger, attitude, diversity, creativity, etc...To see Allen unleashed was fantastic. To see others besides Diggs contribute was fantastic. Shakir, Davis, and Kincaid all looked elite like. Even yards after the catch! The oline was very good. Cook was effective with his touches. This is the kind of of offense we've been waiting for. It's the kind of offense that will be needed to beat the tough teams the Bills are about to face. I'm not getting down on them for the last few drives of the game.
  14. To be honest I haven't seen a replay of the game. I just can't bare myself to watch it. Just too painful. That's probably true too.
  15. I screamed but I still didn't think the Bills would lose. My most recent roller coaster ride was the 13 sec game. Not sure I'm fully recovered from that to be honest.
  16. I get that. No one is really disputing that. I thought overall it was a good offensive performance and a good team win. Was it perfect? No Could they have put up more points to win easily? Yes Did they win an important game? Yes.
  17. They scored right out the gate in the second half. I think you have to put what you are saying in proper perspective. Yes it's true about not scoring in the four drives. The Bills were up 14 points. The Tampa offense didn't feel scary or dynamic. The 14 point lead pretty much felt insurmountable so long as the Bills didn't turn over the ball. I was satisfied with the Bills killing the clock and not taking unnecessary chances. I absolutely wanted them to punt on the two 4th and short opportunities. Ideally, you want to close out these games. At the same time, I was fine with not turning over the ball, punting , and seeing if Tampa could score two TDs. I really never felt like they would be successful. It got very scary but so many fluke things happened to get Tampa in that position. I doubt you see so many weird bounces, bad calls, or horrific penalties like that in a long time. The Bills were at home, up 14 points, vs a pretty poor offense, and Baker Mayfield isn't exactly Mahomes. Overall, I think the Bills offense was fine. They looked very good and different in a good way. Nice play calls, nice pace, diversity, and creative. Josh looked like Josh!!! I usually look at the negative side of things when it comes to the Bills. This time I find myself strongly gravitating to the positive. This was the first time since the Miami game that I feel this offense just might be able to carry the team. That's exciting to this fan.
  18. Kind of true. Not McD fan here as most know. I will say this narrative is not so accurate in regular season games. McD's has won a plenty over the last few years of the regular season. He deserves credit for that. The Bills won a lot of close games last year. I thought that narrative was squashed after last year. The playoffs is a whole different topic. That's where I think McD really gets exposed. However, I don't wanna go there right now. Not the right time after such a nice win.
  19. I think the Tampa style of defense contributed to the Bills success. They are a heavy blitz team and a pass funnel defense. The Bills coaching game plan and play calling was excellent. The players execution was atva high level. I wonder if the Bills can maintain this kind of offense going forward. Any thoughts from smarter people than myself?
  20. Agree 100%. That's why it's up to the offense to advance this team further. All I'm expecting or hoping for the defense is make a key stop or turnover.
  21. The defense is what it is with the significant injuries. The key is staying healthy and getting Von back to being elite. I don't see a defensive addition that makes the Bills much better in the playoffs. Do you? I'd rather go out and get DHop or Henry if the price is right. They can definitely be difference makers on the offense. Agree for the most part. However, a DHop would make the Bills passing game even more dynamic. It would change the landscape of the Bills offense for the good. I wouldn't say no to a proven WR with great hands and route running.
  22. I'm not really advocating a defensive acquisition unless it's too good to be true. I just don't think that's the way to spend their resources. Even a single pick isn't likely to change the defense much. I don't want to give up the farm for Surtan. McD is just going to have to get creative and guys have to step up and improve. Most defenses even healthy can't stop KC or other dynamic playoff team offenses. The Bills just need a few big D plays, a key turnover, a key stop, etc... I'd rather get another offensive weapon. Go down swinging with Allen and company. I believe this gives the Bills the optimal chance to win. I think at the right price DHop would be a nice pick up. Henry is an interesting thought. Sure would keep teams honest and maybe make the offense unstoppable. After last night's game, does Renfrow and or Judy become an afterthought? My head says yes.
  23. Especially when you take into account how bad the offense had been playing the last three games. I'm the ultimate critic here sometimes to a fault. No need to comment if that. I get people are a bit concerned or upset that the Bills didn't close out the game. But damn they looked pretty damn good last night. They controlled the game, moved the ball around, and had a swagger in offense. They were focused and prepared. Dare I say they looked like the good Bills of the past few seasons. They won the game and for the most part dominated it. That's a huge improvement from what we had been seeing the last three games. I woke up being a happy Bills fan.
  24. I just call it like I see it. That includes the good and the bad. I saw a lot of good last night. The offense really looked good despite only scoring 25 points. I'm a little concerned about the defense. The Bills injuries are really hurting their overall effectiveness. Can you imagine how good this D would be with Tre, Jones, and Milano? Wow...
