I like the no call personally. I would have preferred the no call in last years SB. Years ago, the refs would intentionally eat the whistle and let the guys play. Only obvious and outrageous penalties would be called in these types of situations. Today's mondern day football is way too soft and the refs make way too many game changing calls.

Ridiculous. Stop embarrassing yourself with non sense allegations.

After the next two clunker games that Dolphin's game seems like a distant memory.

I suggest you read your post because it has negativity and criticism expressed throughout it. Does that make you a "nabob?" I mean all Bills fans are happy with the win. Hoping for the best. There will always be varying degrees of optimism and pessimism. That's not a bad thing.

The Jags are pretty disrespected and off the radar charts. That team is very good, has a solid offense, good QB, playoff experience, and an excellent coach. Come playoff time, the Jags will be formidable.
-
The team was traumatized after Harris went out in an ambulance. It triggered the Hamlin incident in their minds. They were unable to focus on football due to PTSD. Not sure why no one isn't talking about this.

The time to do that was right after the Cinci as$ whipping. How many times do you need to see Dorsey and McD's incompetence? The team was unprepared, flat, and not ready to play. That's on the coaches. The coaches had a terrible game plan vs Cincinnati. To this date, I still don't know what it was. A few weeks prior the Bills had a half quarter dress rehearsal with the Bengals. The Bengals offense was throttling the Bills D. You think the Bills coaches would have had some answers to slow down the Bengals. Try to do things a little different. Nope nope and nope. The coaches rolled out the same ineffective pathetic game plan that was ineffective weeks prior. Talk about incompetence. Add on that Lou A took Dorsey to the woodshed. Exotic blitzs and constant pressure on Allen. Low and behold they took Diggs out of the picture. You think that will happen again? You think that's a winning formula? What do the Bills coaches do to counter that defensive strategy? After 5 games we fans continue to see mediocrity and under achieved football from the Bills. We continue to see poor coaching and play designs that under utilized players and or don't put players in the best positions to succeed. This has been a pretty steady theme under the McD era. When is enough enough? Yet you still have fans pointing to relax it's just one game, OMG the sky is falling, travel too and from London was a factor, Daboll knows the Bills offense, injuries, and the Bills will figure it out. One NFL analyst recently said after the Miami win congratulated the Bills for being Super Bowl winners for the month of September. How true is that! I didn't like the comment being a Bills fan. However, I really couldn't agree with the validity of the statement or its premise. Folks come playoff time what makes you think anything we be much different?

Your interpretation is not accurate Francis. I'll just leave it at that.

Ok know it all and classless poster. If you say so it must be true. Stop with the excuses they are getting old. Exactly what did I say in my post is inaccurate? You failed to address that. Instead you went to insults and condescending language. Grow up!

Looks like PI to me. Can you imagine if a Giant CB did this to a Bill? Sure looks like the Bills caught a huge break. What does everyone think?

I've been banging the drum for quite awhile that this team needs new coaching. You are exactly right here. The Bills organization is wasting valuable opportunities with Allen at the helm.
-
I'd like to get your thoughts after you watch it more closely.

Going to be a long season. KC, Philly, and Cinci on the road.

This 10 min Bills drives are like watching paint dry. Dink and dunk and convert 3rd and short. Execution has to be nearly perfect to sustain such long methodical drives. Not much room for error. I miss the quick strike, free wheeling Bills offense of the past. I miss the Allen RPOs, the Allen jumps and game changing scrambles and runs. This current offense just seems off and not dynamic enough. With the D injuries the offense must get better.

Plus, McD has his head so far up in the defense side of the ball. Seems like he has a laissez-faire attitude when it comes to the offense. Not good!

Agree with everything but your first sentence. The running back room is nothing special. Murray is just ok and pretty good as a back up RB. Cook is nothing special. Teams don't have to game plan for him. He's not a game changer and remains inconsistent. Some of that is due to the scheme and lack of putting him in the best situation to succeed. Bottom line is the Bills running game is nothing special or scary for opposing defenses to defend. Allen needs to be included in the conversation but he's not. That's really a big point of contention. Taking away Allen's legs certainly decreased the Bills chances to win. Secondly, it's the oline. How good are they? They seem improved from last year but that's not saying much. The jury is out on whether they are good or good enough. Brown is still a liability, Torrence is still young and learning, and the others are decent to good. They have no elite pieces on the line. The last couple of games Allen has been pressured often. Seems like the promising oline start is showing some of its weaknesses. In a nutshell, the Bills have Allen and Diggs offensively. Everyone else is just a dime a dozen. Can be interchangeable with numerous other players on other teams. They lack creativity, explosiveness, and consistency. On defense, the Bills have no game changers. Von is still a work in progress, Poyer and Hyde aren't the same, the pass rushers are not reliable, inconsistent and hot or cold from game to game. This team looks to be in survival mode rather than killer mode. The game tonight is a great example of this. I think this team is in serious jeopardy of losing the division and perhaps even a playoff birth. The McD and Beane era is on the decline. A decline that many will deny.

He's not a game changer or even really a contributor on the offense.
-
I'm not bitching. The game was a frustrating watch but euphoric at the end. Happy about the win and not happy about how they played. Isn't that a fair statement? Or is that bitching?
-
Great point. So you admit the injuries to Tre, Milano, and Jones will be difficult to overcome? The point is the defense played a terrible offense. Not there fault but it still has to be put in it's proper perspective. The defense still has a lot of work to do. It's nowhere near super bowl quality.

This kind of thinking is a cop out and total bs. A fifteen point favorite doesn't often struggle and hold on to dear life to win. Yes there are close games every week in the NFL but not ones like today when you factor in all the variables. The Bills should have smoked the Giants from the opening snap. I'm happy the Bills won. It gives me hope for the rest of the season and hopefully post season. My fear is it's false hope, a wish, prayer, and a fantasy. Realistically this Bills have a really big uphill battle to compete with the likes of the top tier teams. I can't help but think by season's end Cinci and KC will be much improved. Can we say the same about Buffalo? Sounds like I'm not alone.

Well stated and well done.

I really wasn't impressed with the Bills defense. The looked vulnerable against a very poor Giants offense. An offense that had Tyrod Taylor, mash unit of an oline, and a recovering Barkley. You realize this unit hasn't scored a TD this season? It was a commendable defensive effort, not terrible but it's nowhere near good enough to stop a Good playoff caliber offense. The injuries will likely be just too much to overcome. I suspect the defense won't win a lot of games vs good offenses. What really is worrisome is the offense. I think it's the offense that has to carry this team come playoff time. The last two games they have been worst than bad. Sadly, Allen has been the only ray of hope. Dorsey is just not OC material. It's just that simple. The oline has regressed after such a promising start. The lack of offensive weapons and explosiveness is obvious and problematic. Short term high for the win tonight. However, when you look at the long term view it's much bleaker than anticipated.

I feel the same way. The Bills are 4-2 but it feels like 2-4.

Gotta give him time. Did you expect him to be a beast right away?
