  1. This is a great "film study" video of King talking with Baldinger (watch on youtube). Smart kid who knows the game. Move on from Siran Neal please....
  2. I'd drop Siran Neal for Desmond King, cut by Houston.
  3. I'd call this a lateral move. Not so much an upgrade.
  4. Not sure if this was discussed, but the Texans released CB Desmond King. I'd drop Siran Neal for Desmond King if it can happen.
  5. Buuuuut.... that reporter is writing with respect to the Eagles roster of talented LB with likely starters: Haasson Reddick Nakobe Dean Nolan Smith *and solid depth VanSumeren is penciled in as the third team MLB. He'd be third team MLB here too.... but would just replace Matakevich on special teams (and have upside to push for a second team role this year). We still need a STARTER, but I'd cut Klein to make room for a starter....
  6. Agreed, and I'm not saying hes a starter but I'd replace a guy like special teams LB Matakevich with this guy due to his upside. He could develop into a solid to high end backup linebacker, possibly more.
  7. Hello all, Haven't posted here in a while, but as I'm watching preseason, I'm compelled to gage your opinion on the linebacker position. Specifically I'm looking at Ben VanSumeren, UDFA that was picked up by Philly. I had hoped the Bills would land him and he posted a phenomenal pro day (see below). Now, in the preseason, he's the leading tackler and has been all over the field (see below). All signs point to VanSumeren being relegated to the Eagles PS since they have great depth at the position. I think that this kid is worth poaching! Who to cut to make room might be debatable, but I'm thinking it's time to move on from Klein or Matakevich. VanSumeren would be an ace on special teams. I realize there might be "cut casualties" of more seasoned vets but I like this kid's amazing upside. Thoughts appreciated.
  8. Aaron Rodgers does his signature head shake and frowny face in frustration due to OL breakdowns by the end of the second series. Dalvin Cook gets a groin strain before the half, and dislocates his shoulder AGAIN before the game is done. Breece Hall comes in and does too much too soon. Out 8 weeks. Bills win on 2 Rosseau sacks, 1 Epenesa sack, and 1 Ed Olver sack... lol..... Rodgers spends the week at his meditation retreat pondering retirement.
  9. HallsWay. Don’t quit your day job. about as engaging as watching paint dry.
  10. I think that the article in the OP is really off....... I'll just touch on the RB point and then add my own speculation: Damien Harris has a very hard time with injuries, and I think that Murray needs to stay on as insurance. Hines is one to watch despite the relatively recent signing. Might come down to emerging talent at KR/PR, but I still like him on the 53... Personally I think AJ Epenesa is someone who might be battling to keep a spot. I think he's done in Buffalo with Leonard Floyd here, and Von coming back at some point in the season. We're good at DE without Epenesa, and I'd like to give his spot to a player with upside (watch DT DJ Dale in preseason). Epenesa's ceiling is well known....
  11. It's a win NOW mentality, and if a certain one year player turns out to be a major factor, they'd be considered for an extension. What is SO great is that players who are free agents right now all WANT to be in Buffalo to be part of a serious superbowl push. Especially the older vets with something left in the tank. Not sure if Hopkins is affordable after the Oliver and Floyd signings, but there's another example of a solid vet who wants a potential ring with Buffalo. There's no reason why Buffalo can't be the next great "dynasty team", like we saw with New England. That team just knew how to keep it going year in and year out. The Bills can too..... with smart cap management, and the right FA acquisitions. Draft is important too, but IMO not much of a factor in New England during the dynasty years. Personally I think we've had better drafts comparatively.
  12. Interesting article from some years back. Wondering about his injury status. Has potential when healthy.https://www.pff.com/news/pro-the-ravens-add-a-much-needed-pass-rush-presence-sign-pernell-mcphee-and-shane-ray-for-2019
  13. Hello Bills fans on the best community forum around. I just wanted to send a shout out to everyone here who made this offseason WAY more interesting and fun. I learn a LOT here, talking with all of you and consider you my "cyber Bills mafia family". SO much fun dropping by to see what's new and honestly it's hardly even worthwhile looking for Bills news elsewhere because chances are, there will be a THREAD dedicated to that information before I could even find it somewhere else. Free Agency was a blast. The weeks leading up to the draft were a blast. Draft day was so much more fun popping by here to read the "hopes", "evaluations", and of course the reactions. As the fun part winds down, I'll be sliding back into Football Hibernation for a while but before I go, I just felt it was important to recognize "this place" for what it is. Cheers to all of you. Go Bills.
  14. Oh yes..... Sleeper fantasy pick as well... LOL. I might win my keeper league on this one. haha
  15. I think with respect to deeper routes, Kincaid has the potential to be better than Kelce.
  16. Anyone remember playing super punch out on Super Nintendo? Aaron Ryan……. Just leaving that there…..
  17. Around the league I’d say we did about as well as any other main competitor, Miami, ny jets, New England, Cincinnati, Kansas city. Unfortunately, the eagles get an A+ from me…. Hope there isn’t a dynasty in the making over there. I think we make it to the show. can we beat Philly? Worth a roster comparison thread if anyone wants to put that together.
  18. LOL!! Sorry I just watch the games, and don't follow any drama. Didn't know that. That's hilarious. Without all that "noise", I'd say Lewan would have been a good RT for us. Ah well. Maybe Brandon Shell (any drama there?). Maybe Brandon Shell (any drama there?). From March: https://billswire.usatoday.com/2023/03/20/buffalo-bills-interest-brandon-shell/
  19. I'd say A, B, C for the Bills: A for rounds 1, 2, B for round 3, and C for round 6. But as they say, "evaluate the draft in the third season".....
  20. I think that the price for Taylor Lewan might be within reach now that the draft has settled. I've read (can't verify) that the Dolphins have interest. I'd rather see Lewan as our Right Tackle next to O'Cyrus Torrence. https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/taylor-lewan-claims-miami-dolphins-have-called-him
  21. I want WR Jake Bobo, UCLA and LB Ben VanSumeren, Mich St. Bunch of safeties: Trey Dean, and Rashad Torrence, Florida, Ronnie Hickman, Ohio St., Quindell Johnson, Memphis
