  1. Liked Dexter but hoped for him in the 3rd.
  2. They have been derailed by starting RB injuries a lot in recent history. I think this is a two headed monster approach.
  3. GREAT OL and LB options coming up so far...... Hyatt's there too right now.
  4. What I can see just from the highlights. He plays a LOT of slot lineups and he goes deep. - Go from the slot - Deep Post from the slot - Mid Curl from the slot - Red Zone: Out (tight) - Deep Flag from the slot .......I stopped analyzing...... but I think we get the point. Dude's a BIG slot WR that can also play tight if needed. I don't see a lot of motion in Utah, but that would be an interesting wrinkle.lllll. Watch out
  5. Good thread. Start by looking at the route tree that worked for him in college. I'd also interview him about certain plays that really feel natural for him. Look at our current offensive personnel, and see if our roster could handle an NFL version of those college plays. Then? DO IT!
  6. Most of not all will be gone when we pick unfortunately so we either get lucky, move up, or reach from outside of this list. I did not include any pass rushers, QBs, RBs, WRs (we have Kincaid....). Focussing on OL, LB, DT, Safety depth, PLUS any round 1 slips. No particular order: 1. S Brian Branch 2. CB Joey Porter 3. OG O'Cyrus Torrence 4. RT Dawand Jones 5. OC John Michael Schmitz 6. CB Cam Smith 7. OG Steve Avila 8. LB Drew Sanders (not an every down linebacker IMO, but great pass rusher) 9. OC Luke Wypler 10. DT Keeanu Benton 11. LB Daiyan Henley (better as a SAM linebacker) 12. MLB Trenton Simpson 13. S Sydney Brown 14. DT Kobie Turner Some of these are a bit of a reach for round 2 I realize
  7. This mock considers PROSPECT VISITS / INTERVIEWS. I chose BPA according to our visit list. No consideration of my own "percieved team needs".
  8. I've removed the players already drafted... Here are the team visits with Black/Bolded going second round in mocks, and Blue/Bolded going third round in mocks. Adetomiwa Adebawore, Defensive End, Northwestern (COM) Jordan Battle, Safety, Alabama (PRI) Brian Branch, Safety, Alabama (WOR) Julius Brents, Cornerback, Kansas State (COM) Ji'Ayir Brown, Safety, Penn State (COM) Nathaniel Dell^, Wide Receiver, Houston (PRI, WOR) Gervon Dexter, Defensive Tackle, Florida (PRI) Josh Downs, Wide Receiver, North Carolina (COM) Payne Durham, Tight End, Purdue (VIR) Derick Hall, Outside Linebacker, Auburn (VIR) Jalin Hyatt, Wide Receiver, Tennessee (PRI) Roschon Johnson, Running Back, Texas (PRO) Justin Marshall^, Wide Receiver, Buffalo (WOR, LOC) Michael Mayer, Tight End, Notre Dame (COM) Kendre Miller, Running Back, TCU (PRI) Riley Moss, Cornerback, Iowa (COM) Zacch Pickens, Defensive Tackle, South Carolina (PRI) Jayden Reed, Wide Receiver, Michigan State (COM) Jammie Robinson, Safety, Florida State (COM) Jaquelin Roy, Defensive Tackle, LSU (PRI) John Michael Schmitz, Center, Minnesota (VIR) Luke Schoonmaker, Tight End, Michigan (COM) Juice Scruggs, Center, Penn State (VIR) Justin Shorter, Wide Receiver, Florida (PRI) Trenton Simpson, Linebacker, Clemson (COM) Mazi Smith, Defensive Tackle, Michigan (PRI) Tyjae Spears, Running Back, Tulane (WOR) O'Cyrus Torrence^, Offensive Guard, Florida (PRI, PRO) Tuli Tuipulotu, Defensive End, USC (COM) Darnell Washington^, Tight End, Georgia (COM, PRI) Michael Wilson, Wide Receiver, Stanford (COM) Byron Young, Defensive End, Tennessee (COM) Christian Young, Safety, Arizona (WOR)
  9. I vote for "Porkchop". lol.. Yes, I agree it's too early for this. Let's see his identity as a Bill first.
  10. I like Henley but think he's more suited for a SAM linebacker role, not so much MLB. I'd much prefer Trenton Simpson.
  11. I've got 14 prospects that I would be happy with for the Bills in round 2 (with round 1 and 2 grades).
  12. I surprised myself when I started leaning to Kincaid after the WRs came off the board. Kincaid was my pick as a Big/Physical WR prospect, once Johnston came off the board as well as Jack Campbell. Kincaid was my pick.
  13. Thanks for the excellent post! Great reference heading into this evening. Personally I think it could go with any scenario outlined, and it will all depend on how the first 10 picks play out. We don't have a 4th rounder now. My thoughts are that we still need a MLB and RT as players who would compete to start, and the rest will be just roster fillers (with upside). I'd be okay with losing Oliver in a trade that gets us to the top of round 2, and maybe gives us a day 3 pick to sweeten the deal.
  14. I think BPA relates to the draft board, even if you trade up. I think the Bills wanted Kincaid, and thought there was a significant enough dropoff in value between him and their "next BPA" (hence the move).
  15. My top hopefuls.... in no particular order. DB Branch OT: Harrison, Jones, Bergeron OG: Torrence, Avila WR: Hyatt LB: Simpson OC: Schmitz, Wyper, Tippman *If CB Porter or Smith slip all the way down..... I'm "considering"... Questions remain if White will ever be back to himself, and Elam is still developing as a ? Can't have too many CB (but those two are the only I'd consider)
  16. Eventually. I think this lit a fire under the whole offense. Knox and Davis are pulling all nighters at the gym.
  17. Agreed. I think we just drafted our "WR".
  18. Kincaid is going to be a beast to cover. I don't think this is a knock on Knox either. VERY different roles I think. Kincaid will move around a lot more, kick out to the slot etc. You have to account for him. Knox is the prototypical TE, and let's not forget, had 6 TDs this past season. I like the taller/physical options in the red zone.
  19. WOW, honestly I didn't have Kincaid on my radar AT ALL through all these weeks.... But by pick 20, I started to look (after the WR run......). Nice call Beane! Love the pick.
  20. Where are you getting spoilers??? Is there a time delay? LOL.
