  1. Blame the coaches. They were HORRIBLE. Look for Robinson to thrive on a new team. He was the MAN in Chicago.
  2. Well, we got Poyer back so there's that. I get what he's trying to point out, but the Bills cap situation was not great to make a splash. LAST offseason was the splash with Von Miller. I think the OL is already better even before the draft and that was arguably the weakest link last season. I expect a rookie or two added.... Not much of a loss at RB and I'd say we have some upside there.... Some interesting adds at WR, and I expect a rookie add. Tremaine Edmunds is OVERPAID by another team, and if we can add an early round rookie that can compete at MLB, I'd say we're in pretty good shape for the season. White HOPEFULLY will be back to 100%, and I've got my fingers crossed for Von Miller by game 7.
  3. Agreed. I didn't watch the games and I'm sure you are right about the style of play. I went only by their offensive production stats. Looking forward to the REAL draft. Not much more time to wait!! Cheers!
  4. Yep. Different story with Johnston. But mainly because Keenan Allen is 30+. I'm good with TE Gerald Everett's 555 yards on the season. This team goes deep to Keenan Allen, and Mike Williams. He had 4 TD as well. Not terrible. Nobody's calling Dawson Knox "pathetic" here... and he had 517 yards and 6TD.
  5. 3rd in the league for passing yards......... even with a banged up #1 and #2 WR most of the season. That's not pathetic by any measure. I'm banking on the Allen and Williams being healthy. It was a bad injury year but that doesn't mean it continues into next season. WR is a need for the future, yes, but the current starting FS Alohi Gilman is a weak link in that secondary. How many targets Flowers would even get is questionable with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams on the field. I went with the greater need IMHO.
  6. With the 21st pick, the LA Chargers select- Brian Branch- FS- Alabama Yes, WR is arguably a need due to the bad "injury year" the Chargers had at the position last season. The WR talent they have on the roster is undeniable (even the slot WR is pretty good), and for that reason, I went a different direction. Free Safety is rather weak in my opinion, and the Chargers could use a better option to pair up with Derwin James (one of the better safeties in the league). @Virgil is on the clock (Ravens)
  7. That's the type of player our roster is missing. A big, physical WR that has to be taken into account every Sunday. We're too "small" at the position (Sorry Addison, Flowers.....). Give me Johnston... (only 1st round consideration IMO)
  8. Great prospect! Just wondering though, if we keep 4 RB on the roster this year? Hines is our new special teamer (Jones), but also gets on the field for a small number of passing downs.
  9. I posted this here before but admittedly, I had HAD IT with the Bills after the Flutie/Johnson fiasco.... followed Flutie to San Diego Chargers and became a Chargers fan during the Tomlinson/Rivers era. Amazing time to be a Chargers fan but frustrating in the playoffs.... I'm going with K for Philip Rivers.
  10. Maybe he chose it as a premonition? Sell the number to the rookie!
  11. I can't rank, but I'm looking for a tall, physical WR talent to add to the roster. I'd shift my rankings to favor that type of player.
  12. Shhhhhh! Don't telegraph my mock! lol
  13. Chargers are an interesting study.... I don't see any GLARING needs, but a collection of average needs at multiple positions. Interesting. Chargers could be a wildcard team with respect to taking players at positions the Bills need. Just putting that out there for Bills fans to munch on. This could go many directions.
  14. Teams are only as strong as their weakest player. Good opponents know how exploit.
  15. I think that Allen's elbow injury also took the momentum away. Before the injury, the team looked literally unstoppable. He's a warrior and pushed through, but that elbow really was a factor.
  16. I like our offseason so far as well, considering our cap situation. I'm mainly concerned with the major moves the Jets have made this offseason, and if they have Rodgers, it's going to be more difficult to own the division. The Jets arguably had one of the best drafts last year and those players have had the benefit of a year under their belt. Look for them to excel this year. Breece Hall's injury is something to watch. THIS year the Jets once again have huge draft capital, which makes me nervous about the future. The Bills window is NOW, so AJ Klein hardly gives me excitement about our linebacker depth (presently), but that will change after the draft. I'd put some serious money down, betting on one of the top 4 linebackers being a Bill after the draft settles. RAPP was the best acquisition of the offseason (and I'm still hoping for Rapp/Battle... lol)
  17. I share SOME of this sentiment, but the offseason isn't over yet. You can count on draft capital being spent on linebacker.
  18. Sorry but I just disagree with all that. And he'll be 33 this year, and slower, more injury prone etc. I'm reading a lot of excuses above, and I'd rather have a younger option with upside as a "situational player, and backup". Remember, backups become starters when there are injuries. Not going to argue about this. I respect your opinion. Go Bills!
  19. Usually I comment with a bit more explanation. It's been a hell of a weekend.....
  20. Certainly. I was hoping to move on from Klein without a cap penalty. We had a chance.... I just think there are much better options on the FA and/or draft to fill his roster spot. He's just not a good player.
  21. Chargers Rams Patriots thanks. If I can only have one, I'll take the Chargers.
  22. Yay! A cancer in the locker room! Amazing. Well done Miami.
  23. Tampa Bay tried to trade up several times to get Nolan Smith. Finally found a partner at 36. BOOM. lol....
  24. I agree that there are some darn good, even potentially elite slot WRs in this class, but personally I think that Shakir is also in that category. I'm still in the mindset that you go with linebacker or OL UNLESS by some chance an amazing talent slips to us at WR. In our TSW mock draft we selected Addison but then look what happened... we went D-line??? with linebacker and OT still the biggest need. I voted D-line too, but it was a "painted into a corner" pick. Nah I'd rather do a minor reach for linebacker in the first, and then have more freedom to pick WR in round two. The GREAT thing is that to your original point this draft is fairly deep with WRs that could make an impact (including second and third round prospects).
  25. @Virgil Thanks so much for managing this!
