  1. Just think about how many OG's we already brought in this offseason.
  2. I'm going with a late rounder that has been overlooked.
  3. So are you going to drop the bottom two? How does this work?
  4. 1. Any quarterback earlier than a round 6 flier. 2. Any pass rusher in the first 3 rounds. 3. Any cornerback in the first 3 rounds. 4. DT Bryan Bresee 5. WR Zay Flowers. 5'9". I'm sorry but just no.... There are others...
  5. I think what we’ve learned through this activity is that you can’t go with wide receiver in the first round. There’s just not enough value at offensive tackle and linebacker in two and three.
  6. Oh yeah! I also love that pink spackle that turns white when dries!
  7. With our starting safeties over 30, I'm not counting on both playing a full season. The future: Rapp/Battle Best named tandem in history!
  8. Well they ARE looking at TE's clearly, to that might be a strategy!
  9. Buffalo Bills have an INTERESTING TREND on players they've visited two or more times.... MOST are WRs and TE's... plus Torrence.... I don't want to read too much into this, but they surely want to get their offensive pick RIGHT. Highlighted below. Also highlighted below are the Private workouts. 10. Zack Moss. You can go back and search.... The moment he was picked, I said WASTED PICK.......
  11. Ben vansumeren. Check my post above.
  12. Reposting this here. It was buried in the Bernard thread but better here. Thanks for posting. For all the discussion about "the top 3", and a few mentioning Noah Sewell, there is another linebacker that has grabbed my attention from a pretty darn good football program. Ben VanSumeren, Michigan State. This is a player that has flown curiously under the radar, battled some injuries LAST year, and is really starting to peak (in my opinion at the right time). I see this guy as someone worthy of discussion and honestly, I think that he could come in and compete with Bernard and others on our current roster. He's 6'3, 240lbs and had a good showing for the scouts. 4.40 40 Benched 29X 42.5" vertical 10.11' Broad Jump Here's a nice article: https://www.si.com/college/michiganstate/football/michigan-state-spartans-football-nfl-draft-pro-day-ben-vansumeren-kendall-brooks-msu-032123 Here's an snippet: "VanSumeren’s performance at Michigan State’s Pro Day showed his strength, athleticism and speed for all NFL scouts to see. In the evolving professional game, linebackers need to be quick to cover space and be able to run with running backs and tight ends in pass coverage. Was VanSumeren’s Pro Day success enough to get him drafted? Maybe late in Day 3 (Rounds 4-7), as game film is still the biggest factor for NFL franchises. " Projected WIDELY from rounds 4-7 And he’s not a bad running back in Michigan before e transferred to State
  13. Murray is a beast with lots left to give.
  14. Linebackers: Henley and Dorian Williams. Both may not be a prototypical MLB, but we could use some good linebackers on the depth chart across the board. Safeties: Anthony Johnson, Battle, Jammie Robinson, Sydney Brown In my "painful" opinion, the safeties might be the best fits...... for this round..... and good value. Offensive Tackle: I'll PM you.... it's a secret.
  15. 9 picks away, and I have 7 on my list for round 3, but could reach for other OL/LB: 2LB 4 Safety 1 OT
  16. Maybe not probowl material like the OP states, but "potential for instant impact" LB Jack Campbell DT Jalen Carter DT Calijah Kancey S Brian Branch OC John Michael Schmitz CB Devon Witherspoon TE Dalton Kincaid RB Bijan Robinson TE Michael Mayer OT Cody Mauch (if me shifts over to OG) RB Zach Charbonnet "later round"....... DE Karl Brooks (underrated) DT Kobie Turner DT Moro Ojomo OT Blake Freeland RB Tyaje Spears LB Ivan Pace Jr. (has potential to be a top special team gunner) That's all I got for can't miss...
  17. Respectfully, I don't have the time to do a full NFL player breakdown. There aren't many players that are stud DT's that can do all those things. There are also very few QB's in the league that can do what Josh Allen can do, but that doesn't stop teams from trying to find a "Josh Allen" to add to their team. Why limit yourself and belittle the idea of finding so called "unicorns"? That just does not compute for me, sorry. I'm looking for unicorns at every single position. No limits.
  18. That's not the role of a bigger DT. It's to command double teams by guards and centers, freeing up a gap for pass rushers like Drew Sanders. The GOOD ones can also collapse the pocket, throwing some QB's off their game/timing.
  19. Yep, there's a thread on this already called team visits "post em here". You can check it all out there.
  20. Just for kicks...... Round 1: DT Jalen Carter, maybe pick #8-10ish.... (trade away next year's 1st rounder OR Oliver + conditional pick next year) Round 2: OC Luke Wypler Round 3: OT Blake Freeland Round 4: MLB Noah Sewell Round 5: TE Jack Kuntz Round 6: WR Jake Bobo
  21. I'm not sure I agree on that one, with respect. The league (and every sport really) is all about bigger, faster, stronger. On one way you might be right by adding "leaner".
