NFL Week 11 Browns at Bills (Detroit) - 1st half game thread

Benford, Hamlin, and Jackson have all been fine this year. If any of those guys deserve flack for their coverage it’s Taron. -

Still remember the Steelers game day thread when people were saying Dodson is better than Edmunds -
I’m not saying he’s perfect or one of the elite coaches in the league, but there’s no denying the tremendous positive impact he’s had on this franchise. If he were to be fired, he would be the unanimous #1 candidate for every team looking for a new HC.

Bills O Line/Unforced Error Review - Week 10 - Vikings
gobills404 replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not surprised Dawkins and Brown had sub-par outings against Z. Smith and Hunter, but who tf was Saffold getting whooped by? The only Vikings DTs that played significant time were Harry (who wasn’t a good pass rusher in Buffalo), James Lynch, and Khyiris Tonga (literally never heard of them). -
The DL has been better this year and is legitimately good but yeah I would still tend to agree. Regardless of how Hughes is playing in Houston, the DL still feels somewhat underwhelming considering the insane amount of resources invested in it. With 2 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks, and $35+ million a year spent on vets you’d expect them to be dominant. On a positive note, I thought Epenesa and Basham did a great job of stepping up with Rousseau out. Against a really good pair of tackles too.

Oh I already started before the game even ended

Just yesterday my childhood best friend, who is a fair weather Eagles fan, was giving me crap about the Bills choking and talking about how the Eagles are gonna go undefeated. Can’t remember the last time I’ve been so happy about the result of a non-Bills game.

Yes, with the power of hindsight you are correct
-
Hindsight is always 20/20. The Bills were up by 2 scores and kicking the field goal wouldn’t have changed that. Even if they don’t convert the 4 down the Vikings should be pinned deep in their own half. You can’t blame the coaches for Allen doing the worst thing he could’ve possibly done.

Josh Allen leads NFL in interceptions

AND the Bills lead the league in fumbles lost. They’re their own worst enemy. -
If Hyde and Poyer Are Healthy, We're Undefeated
gobills404 replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol the defense gave up 20 points (below the Jets season average) and 7 of them came off a drive that started inside the Bills 20. But you’re right, it’s the defense’s fault Josh threw 2 terrible picks and the offense couldn’t score more than 17 points. -

And yet in all 3 losses, the defense did enough to put the Bills in position to win the game -
He’s a top end QB that goes through slumps, just like every other top end QB ever.

“Stop pretending a 2 game stretch is the norm for Allen” ”These last 2.5 games are the norm for Allen” I’ve seen people contradict themselves on here all the time, but doing it in back to back sentences might be a first. Derrick Henry anyone? Oh wait that doesn’t fit the narrative.

Sorry but no we didn’t. Even with that big return he still only averaged 22.4 yards per return, which is less than McKenzie so far this year (24.0). It actually seemed like the Vikings were intentionally kicking it short of the end zone because they weren’t scared of Duke at all and thought they could tackle him short of the 25, which they did most of the time.
