Only the best people - Trump style
gobills404 replied to BillStime's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The people who were OK with priests being arrested for the crime of holding mass during COVID are now crying crocodile tears for a professional agitator who got what he wanted. Womp womp. -
What did you do to cause the Bills to lose?
gobills404 replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
I snuck into the equipment room right before the game and rubbed baby oil on the footballs -
Because it’s an extreme outlier. And I’m not saying good things don’t happen when Cook gets the ball. I’m saying Brady and Josh need to give Cook better opportunities to make good things happen after catching the ball.

I could be wrong but I bet it has something do with soft coverage as well. Giving opposing pass catchers big cushions allows QBs to get the ball out quickly on short passes. Pass rush has less time to get home. -
Outside of that 51 yard catch and run in week 1 Cook is averaging an abysmal 3.5 yards per reception. Brady needs to find a way to make Cook an actual weapon in the passing game before he starts getting more targets.

They should be letting him run more actual routes like he did at Georgia. Sick of watching him have to stay in to block for a few seconds before leaking out, catching a pass, and barely having a chance to blink before getting hit.

Unless he’s some amazing run blocker or special teamer I have no idea why Shavers is even active

Congrats to Trump on being the first Nazi to be owned by Israel Swap out Trump with Netanyahu and it would actually make sense

Guess Kincaid can’t separate either

Can’t blame the refs when you turn it over 3 times. This is pretty damning though, and it’s not just Hochuli. Bills have been called for the most holds in the NFL and are tied for the fewest holds against their opponents. 13 to 1.

I don’t think there’s any concern about whether or not the Bills will be a good team this year. I think most of the concern stems from the fact that we haven’t seen anything yet to make us think that this team will be any better than the ones that have fallen short in previous years. Good news is we can still beat anyone, just need it to happen 3-4 times in a row in the playoffs.

Maybe, but personally the thought “if only our passing game had been better” never crossed my mind after losing the AFCCG last year.

I think a lot of it is scheme. The secondary still isn’t getting beat deep very often cause they’re still playing soft coverage as if our pass rush is still not good, allowing a ton of short easy completions. Now that the pass rush is much better they should be playing more aggressive coverage because the DL is heating up QBs and forcing them to get the ball out quicker. Our coverage and pass rush are just not complimentary at all. -
Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
gobills404 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because people will label DTs as a certain technique based on their play style against the run even though the different “techniques” are just where they lineup. Deone is more of a penetration style player so he’ll get called a 3T even though he lines up mostly at 1T. Just like Ed mostly lines up at 3T but he’s often the one dropping his knee against a double team. -

I’m getting giddy thinking about once Ed and Hoecht are back -
Because we’re a run heavy team with two great blocking TEs in Hawes and Knox. Shakir and Kincaid have played 77% and 61% of the passing snaps respectively. I’d like to see Kincaid’s number tick up but it’s not as bad as the total snap counts make it seem.
